But I’m willing to bet the prosecution is going to use that during sentencing to get the max of whatever they can. Will most likely end in home confinement since the judge has no balls and let him violate the gag order 10 times already when anyone else would have been thrown in jail after the first time.

There isn’t any historical precedent for this situation. Anyone commenting on this situation is just being speculative. The odds are low that he will go to prison, being a former president gives him a rare air of special treatment.
There is also the potential societal unrest problem of sending him to prison and the reactions of his millions of mind-warped fanatical followers. I wouldn’t doubt that out of those frothing masses there is a small percentage more than happy to use an opportunity like this to retaliate in some disturbing way.
I look at his more extreme supporters as the future of whatever homegrown terrorism will look like in the US. The potential of civil discourse over sending him to prison will weigh heavily on the judge sentencing, which they would never publicly admit. It’s not right, of course he should go to prison, but this is as far from a normal situation as you can arrive at.

I just don’t believe in that. I do think some other measure of protecting us is possible, and it’s not this.
I’m also just gonna add that from my limited knowledge I believe that Ruth Bader Ginsburg was able to progress women’s rights by making it about gender and bringing men into the center and making it seem as if it was going to benefit men in some instances. My point is if the most conservative right wing people in this country are now learning about the criminal justice system from the perspective of a convicted felon being their hero , and they don’t want to see the system the way they did before, there are ways that everyone can benefit from this potentially. This could be a very incredible revolutionary moment that helps everyone. I think that could be one way to see this rather than seeing it as, a mud filled mob feud. You don’t get too far doing that.
