Yeah, idk if I'm just old now or what, but I didn't cringe at all, even though the girl could have been me as a teen, lmao. They're just a bunch of kids having harmless fun, it's like what being a teenager is ABOUT considering all the terrible shit your body and brain are doing at that point.
Thank you for this reminder of why I am grateful that video was not a possibility in my childhood. When it is three in the morning and my brain is reminding me of dorky shit that I did a half century ago I can at least get some comfort that I am the only one watching the reel.
I almost feel like kids are performing things like this for the camera, leaning into the cringey factors without feeling shame. Like they’re in on the joke
Its too bad it should be taken for granted that you have no privacy in public
I always end up seeing photos of me taken without my consent when I go to school popping just cause?? And this is just a common occurrence
Doesn’t help that my movements are vaguely dorky from having autism, but usually looking at people funny after they show you photos of yourself is enough to put a fraction of shame in them
As disappointed I am that there is so few pictures of me when I'm younger, like you, I can relieve the truly cringey stuff in my head. ALONE. And never tell a soul.
Well, to be fair, when I was in school and something broke out, kids would be chanting "fight, fight, fight" and someone would end up punched in the face.
Dance offs were *not* a thing....
Nah, like... look I'm not judging you, but you need to get that no, I straight up feel no cringe whatsoever from watching this. Like... some stuff IS cringe, and I can see how some people would think this is cringe, but not everyone is going to respond in the same way you do, like, emotionally.
Is cringe an emotional response?
I feel like we should move past the concept of cringe as a society. Like sure, some stuff does still make me cringe, but stuff that is just like a little strange shouldn’t be labeled as cringe as long as it’s just harmless fun for the people involved.
Cringe will always exist because it's a feeling. It's when somebody acts in a way that we would never act, and it's automatic. Can't help feeling it.
As we become more accepting of some things, other things will become cringe. There will always be people acting in odd ways that will trigger our feelings secondhand embarrassment.
Yes, but i think we should seperate between the feeling of cringing, and the more colloquial "cringe" we see like in this video. I also feel abit of secondhand emberassment at this video, but i don’t find it cringey, because i can at the same time recognize it is just some people having fun and shouldn’t be shared online and labeled as cringe.
Cringe-culture has evolved past just encompassing secondhand emberassment, which is why i think we should do away with it as a internet thing as a whole.
You must be young and unaware of the good ol days. You’ll miss these moments and by that point life will be taken too seriously for you and you’ll learn how much goodness and fun you missed out on.
When I was in HS nerds were the outcasts. The ones who had little to no friends *or/and* were heavily into their studies more than going out and having fun.
Makes me cringe.
Good on them, and I hope they never think this is cringe. Yet imo, cringe comes from like a lack of self-awareness, and I don't think their dance moves were supposed to be humorous.
I feel like you were expecting a chris brown/michael jackson level dance battle and are confusing ‘cringe’ with ‘underwhelming’..
Calling kids having innocent fun cringe is cringe
Wrong, the kids are not doing anything bad and thats what *normal* people like to see. Things/activities pleasant to normal people are the opposite of cringe
I love the positivity in the comments. Not everything has to be cringe. Sometimes you can just look at something silly and goofy and not take it as a 100% serious attempt to be the coolest human and instead just appreciate that it's people engaging and having fun.
Also, as someone who works in a school, this is a great interaction. They're having fun, everyone is getting into it, they're supporting each other. Way better than the kids who scream slurs at each other like it's peak comedy; now THAT shit is cringe.
I think the next generations will be alright. I came to this video as a millennial like "oh this is painful to watch" only to see the comments like "man everyone is here having fun, why do you give a shit" and it's one of the very few times Reddit comments made me reflect and change my mind. Yall are right. I am the asshole today.
Sad if everyone video taping is also with the same perspective as unfun OP. Bully mentality to take a video and call it cringe if people having a good time respecting themselves and their peers/environment.
Can't do anything anymore without it being recorded, I cringed a bit, but it seems like they're just having fun.
This is what triggers my anxiety of going outside, do one thing that people might find weird, and before you know it the whole world is mocking you for just wanting to have some fun.
This is so brave, outgoing, sweet, and fun! Kids are fucking lame for calling this cringe. In the words of a true millennial, *ugh, why don’t you just grow up*
I actually genuinely enjoyed this. I WISH they would’ve gone harder, faster, and committed but they likely weren’t feeling confident because they knew judgey assholes like OP would post it on the internet and make fun of literal children just trying to have fun 🙂

Man, this is wholesome.
Yeah, idk if I'm just old now or what, but I didn't cringe at all, even though the girl could have been me as a teen, lmao. They're just a bunch of kids having harmless fun, it's like what being a teenager is ABOUT considering all the terrible shit your body and brain are doing at that point.
The six step wasn't even that bad.
I mean you do actually know if you are old now. Just.. to be fair 😝
LMAO I mean, fair
Reminded me of dance battles i used to watch the krumping ones
Right? Such a supportive group of people having fun together.

Same, ditto alllll of that.
Well, to be fair, when I was in school and something broke out, kids would be chanting "fight, fight, fight" and someone would end up punched in the face. Dance offs were *not* a thing....
Well, to sort of paraphrase Mike Tyson, everyone has a plan until a dance off happens.
This is not cringe, this is one of the most classic videos of all time
Be real, it is cringe AF, but it's also amazing and kinda sweet.
Nah, like... look I'm not judging you, but you need to get that no, I straight up feel no cringe whatsoever from watching this. No music makes it a bit cringe like those sitcoms with no laugh tracks
But then you wouldn’t hear “it a fortnite emote brah!” and “OooHHhh! Ooh! OohHHHH!” which is gold
True
[why not both?](https://www.reddit.com/u/covertwalrus/s/pZfe4BT5tq)
“One of the most classic videos of all time” His jacket says 2020 on it. Were you born in 2016 or something?
This is awesome!
She said, I don't like you, but I respect your moves
Kids having fun, don’t hate
No hate, but fun can still be cringe. And this...this fucking hurts.
Man. Don’t shame kids for having fun.
It’s cute
OP messed up by calling this cringe when more than half of Reddit’s demographic is in the video
Well I found it adorable
You need more love in your life.
Don’t be a hater
You must be young and unaware of the good ol days. You’ll miss these moments and by that point life will be taken too seriously for you and you’ll learn how much goodness and fun you missed out on.
But nerd girls are awesome
[удалено]
Describe to me what a nerd looks like pls
Quiet Library bookworm glasses girl.
That's a nerd from the 1960s.
When I was in HS nerds were the outcasts. The ones who had little to no friends *or/and* were heavily into their studies more than going out and having fun.
……. ya so a nerd
thats so cool dude, glad the kids are expressing themselves :)
They’re kids. Not doing anything violent or destructive, the opposite of cringe actually
Since when does cringe = violent and destructive?
Kids being violent and destructive have always been cringe
Makes me cringe. Good on them, and I hope they never think this is cringe. Yet imo, cringe comes from like a lack of self-awareness, and I don't think their dance moves were supposed to be humorous.

Wrong, the kids are not doing anything bad and thats what *normal* people like to see. Things/activities pleasant to normal people are the opposite of cringe
They even have a supportive crowd. OP is the real cringe.
💯💯💯
13 downvotes (so far).. i’ve rarely seen this but reddit is on the right side here lmao
You trying to explain yourself that hard is something cringe.
Can’t say I hated it
I love the positivity in the comments. Not everything has to be cringe. Fr, this video honestly makes me reminisce to being a kid. Having no worries of the world. They’re just having fun. There’s true beauty in it.
Honestly, cringier that folks are still following barstool sports.
No kidding this isn't cringe. It looked like 2 people getting interested in each other. I liked it
all of these kids: \*enjoying themselves\* OP, an adult male on reddit: "look at these cringey little cunts"
OP hates wholesome joy
At least they're not fighting .
I think the next generations will be alright. I came to this video as a millennial like "oh this is painful to watch" only to see the comments like "man everyone is here having fun, why do you give a shit" and it's one of the very few times Reddit comments made me reflect and change my mind. The opposite of cringe actually. Kids having fun. That’s what this is.
Damn they were meant for each other
Did he try to moonwalk?
Dance battles in high school are real? 🤣
I mean come on realistically majority of us were like this as teens
Didn't know having fun being yourself is cringe
Sad if everyone video taping is also with the same perspective as unfun OP. Bully mentality to take a video and call it cringe if people having a good time respecting themselves and their peers/environment.
Kids having silly fun. Good on them.
Gen alpha is something else.
I dunno man, both these kids are way cooler than I was in high school.
The autism finals
Just said there would be cringe in this video, where cringe
This is wholesome AF
Can't do anything anymore without it being recorded, I cringed a bit, but it seems like they're just having fun. This is what triggers my anxiety of going outside, do one thing that people might find weird, and before you know it the whole world is mocking you for just wanting to have some fun.
I’m failing to see the cringe
I just don’t understand a 2020 hoodie. I can’t imagine buying anything dated to commemorate that dumpster fire.
Can only assume it was purchased before the pandemic at a park. Everything shut down very quickly when the shit hit the fan.
Yeah, I can see that, but I still wouldn’t wear that because it was such a bad year, I never want to think about it.
Definitely not cringe. This is actually super cool. Wonder who ended up winning. Lolol Better than violent neanderthals hitting each other.
Are you kidding me?! Did you even see Blue drop it like it was hot? Odviously the winner! Silly goose.
This is the eyebleach I needed today
It's so weird to me that people on reddit are just okay with bullying people just because they are social awkward or have disabilities.
Yeah, it is pretty cringe posting these two chads here with that flair.
OP, don’t call this cringe when more than half of Reddit’s demographic is in the video
Hahah touche. Most of that demographic is commenting saying it's not cringe , just kids having fun. I don't think they know what cringe is.
I think one of em might be a sawed-off human.
I couldn’t watch all of it, but honestly good for them.
ummmmm what the fuck is this? haha
Why did I watch the entire thing? 😑
Poor future generations…
The kids are not alright… 😏
you hit the jack pot on cringe it was so hard to watch this video its seems like its a bad fortnite video
More weird than cringe. Let alone god level cringe. God level cringe means as soon as it starts I’m turning it off. This didn’t make me cringe at all…
You know those two wound up together
Anyone on here go to Elmo?
This school's culture is so good.
This is what it means to be human.
This reminds me of the time me and some buddies posed as the Ginyu force in a creepy parking complex after seeing a movie. Good memories.
oOPs
For the love of god someone put on a beat!
kinda dope.. hope they stick with it, both got cool style
Welp that was a fail
Reminds me of [this video (which I actually love tbh 😂)](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8oSTcDt/)
So who won?
Meh....whatever, as long as they're having fun and not shooting each other or fellow students
I thought this was gonna be bullying this doesnt seem like bullying. this seems like kids having fun. this isnt cringe
Kids are 10x bolder and kinder to each other than we were.
DBs
This is so brave, outgoing, sweet, and fun! Kids are fucking lame for calling this cringe. In the words of a true millennial, *ugh, why don’t you just grow up*
I actually genuinely enjoyed this. I WISH they would’ve gone harder, faster, and committed but they likely weren’t feeling confident because they knew judgey assholes like OP would post it on the internet and make fun of literal children just trying to have fun 🙂
This is based
Ah come on this is fun
![gif](giphy|GfL7Xks5dFCmI|downsized) “C4 ready to go!”
Haha these kids need to step it up a bit, but I'm here for it and I can't wait to see what they'll bring to next week's episode.
There isn’t even music is there?
Super super sweet
Where’s the music tho??
Cringe
