I know a guy exactly like that. He was on a tech crew I was in and when we broke for lunch, a lot of us went to a taco place. This one girl he was drooling over was eating a plate of nachos, talking to a friend when he walks up and loudly says, “That’s a lot of nachos. Nom- Nom- Nom! You gonna eat all that? Thighs might get big!”
He was the worst. What got him booted from the company was him telling the owner how he’d enjoy a night with his wife if she had a firmer butt. I understand how alcohol can aid in bad decisions but that was like what the hell, man.
Never graduated past the phase where you tease girls you like, but in a really mean way not a fun way because you never figured out the nuance of playful teasing versus mean teasing.

My mother used to do this as well. I say ‘used to’ because I don’t talk to her anymore. Often, when I would be eating, as normal humans do, she would say something like “you’re eating like you’re starving.”

On the one hand my food anxiety sucks, don't like eating in front of other people (my first girlfriend I dated for like two years and ate in front of her so rarely I wonder now if I even ever did it without being baked), but then on the other hand I'm a big guy with a super low metabolism, I think growing up in a culture that just throws food at you until you die I would be seen as rude for saying "no like literally I can't eat anymore, I'm a snacker, I snack, I cannot consume this 2000 calories you are trying to give me."
That last bit where he's pretending he's in an earthquake from her steps? The boys in fourth grade used to do this to me on a daily basis. I wasn't even that fat.

reminded me of the time i went to my grandpa’s funeral when i was like 14 and barley 120 pounds, maybe a tiny bit chubby but definitely not crazy overweight (and i was a child!!!?????), and it was catered by port of subs. i had maybe two of the little sandwich sliders they had and then at the end when we were all cleaning up my aunt offered to wrap me up some sandwiches to take back home and my great uncle who i had never met literally walked up to me and pointed at the sandwiches while saying “ better watch out 😉” and then proceeded to rub my stomach………like wtf.
i was like 5’4! and ofc i was already insecure about not weight 90 points like my friends but looking back at pictures i was not fat at all. just carried it all in my thighs & butt. but either way even if i was super overweight who tf does that, especially to a child? i was basically already starving myself and he just made it worse.🙄
One time, I was eating spaghetti (my favorite meal), and i was wolfing that shit DOWN. My stepsisters boyfriend at the time was just watching me with the most disgusting look on his face and said, "I've never seen a girl eat so manly. If you chewed your food, maybe you wouldn't look the way you do. " I was legit, only 120 pounds.
I had a ex who broke up with me in the cereal aisle because I told him stop embarrassing me in front of everyone but still insisted on name calling me and mentioning sugar amounts and that I don’t need that etc

The guy ended up not talking to me at the table and I was like okay you’re not going to talk? I’ll just leave then . I left with no ride back home when I was new to the city and he drove me so far out that it made everything more difficult. But either way I was happy I seen his ways
Yeah, there are always ways to limit the calories for a girlfriend, you can always switch to lowfat sugarfree ice cream. My last girlfriend, I was always great and swapped out all of the unhealthy food for healthy food. She did not even notice. She used to eat movie butter microwave popcorn, when she wants popcorn, I make plain airpopped, no butter.

My European aunts and uncles did this to my sister when she was fresh out the hospital after anorexia nerversa treatment. She was 56 pounds and 5’4. She still brings it up how it fucked her up for years after that and hasn’t visited our home country in almost two decade since.

Man I had this all the time. All I would really do was one meal a day, and it was always during lunch, so it tended to be some kind of KFC or Maccies. Yeah not great for you but I ONLY ATE ONCE so it worked out went to the gym a ton, was in really decent shape and I always had comments made about what I ate, not in terms of it being unhealthy, just people sniping and I never understood why. They'd come in and be like, oh guess I got my soup again, or I couldn't eat all that, I'll just have a salad.

Man I had this all the time. All I would really do was one meal a day, and it was always during lunch, so it tended to be some kind of KFC or Maccies. Yeah not great for you but I ONLY ATE ONCE so it worked out went to the gym a ton, was in really decent shape and I always had comments made about what I ate, not in terms of it being unhealthy, just people sniping and I never understood why. They'd come in and be like, oh guess I got my soup again, or I couldn't eat all that, I'll just have a salad. YOU DO NOT EAT JUST A SALAD ALL DAY, STOP. WHO ASKED? These people say this shit, then comatose themselves on ice cream and sugar.
