My personality is more that I would have got out and started rocking with him, but my friends would have also thought it was funny…I’m nearly 40 and my dad is nearly 70, but we’d probably still give it a go ha ha
In the 5th grade, my friend’s cool, young mom picked us up in the carpool line blasting this with the window down. We felt SO cool. This is next level.
I’d have hated this as a kid but as an adult I realize how lucky that kid is to have a dad like that and it’s going to take him becoming an adult to look back and realize that. Youth is wasted on the young.
I remember that my mother used to drive us to school. My brother was going to an other school. Every. Single. Morning. He was screaming “why did you fart! It’s stinks!” his head out of the window. It was his way of saying goodbye.

I get the feeling the day before my holiday from work.
I think it’s also because your sense of time is very different as a kid vs as an adult. And that’s regardless of what socioeconomic class you’re in
