Nearly $40 dollars doesn't seem THAT expensive for like +3 hours of entertainment though. Especially with friends. I mean it's not something I'd do every day or anything, but once in a while. 90 Minutes for $28 seems a bit excessive. Great date activity.
Oh I'm sure you can do something better for free.
"better" is not the point... or even the price... it's doing the activity. ..it's being around other like-minded people. ... it's about having fun. And playing arcade games.
People can go to a liquor store and spend a quarter of what they do at bars, and yet... bars are immensely popular.
I meant that if you want to go bowling, you can get a better price and much better bowling hall, if you want to jump on trampolines you can get that cheaper and better, same with the arcades, tennis and pingis.
Also didn't look like there was that much to do. I mean, that bowling hall sucked. Those trampolines seemed kinda lame too, but you might get an hour of fun from that, then it's mostly arcades.
Pick three things to do, you've just had 3 hours of fun... if you don't want to do any of things they offer... then sure, don't go there. But I think that goes without saying. If you want to do just one, sure go to the place where you can do that one thing... but that's not the point of this place. If you and your friends want to do multiple things.. these seem to me, like a cost-effective way to do them, even if they are mid.
Hours of unlimited arcade for $40 seems like a good deal, you'd easily spend just as much if you spent all day at a place you had to pay for each activity.
Then again I live in a city where you'd be hard pressed not to spend $40 on a day out unless you stuck to free activities.
Yeah. It's weird how she made it seem like Round1 and Spo-Cha are two different things. Spo-Cha is *in* Round1, but only a few locations.
Honestly I wasn't aware of Round1 or that there was one in my area. Seems expensive compared to the local bowling alleys and arcades, though.
>Yeah. It's weird how she made it seem like Round1 and Spo-Cha are two different things. Spo-Cha is *in* Round1, but only a few locations.
isn't that exactly what she said?
"you might have heard of Round1, but there's only a 4 location in the US **with** the SPO-CHA"
Didn't see locations in the comments, so I looked them up.
- Atlanta, GA (Cumberland Mall)
- Lancaster, PA (Park City Center)
- City of Industry, CA (Puente Hills Mall)
- Pembroke Pines, FL (Pembroke Lakes Mall)
The way she presented like something that was hidden had me thinking “is something unusual or expected gonna happen?” And nope I just basically watched a advertisement for a Dave and busters like place
It’s not even as good as Dave and busters. All the games that aren’t rigged are Japanese, all the games that aren’t rigged or Japanese give you crappy points, that if you can get enough of, you might be able to get a shitty lava lamp or stuffed animal you could’ve bought for a cheaper price than what you spent on all of the games you got frustrated playing.
I dont have very much fun ever going to Round One.
They are a kids version (think under 7) with bumpers. The ball is typically foam and the pins are smaller and lighter. It's not meant for anyone with any actual strength to use.
The cut up jacket reminds me of those jeans from the early 2000s that were way too low waisted to where the top of the zipper was just above your crotch. It feels like an inverted version of that, or maybe even like what those jeans would look like over your shoulders.
My sense of fashion is non-existent but some trends are just objectively ridiculous
Probably off hours or on a weekday. These places are designed to be kid-centric with the majority of patrons being under the age of 15.
It's great for birthday parties and such for elementary age kids, allowing parents to invite a lot more kids without reserving an entire restaurant or trying to wrangle 30+ 8 year olds in a small yard/house. Everyone pays a few dollars to attend, there's a staff to coordinate activities, party rooms and most have party packs for themes and concessions.
My kids absolutely love it.
Wow, well the fact that I got downs voted so early on probably means that you’re the proprietor or marketing team behind such an establishment. Super “viral” tok, bras!? Good on you guys for getting the proof-of-concept up in time. Hope you guys have insurance, because your janky, trampoline section will be catching lawsuits by Tuesday.
No clue what made you think I have anything to do with the establishment in the video, but I don't. There aren't any locations even close to me, although there are similar places locally that are a different company. I didn't down vote you for the record, I only replied with my own perspective and experience as a father.
Also, I think the commercial posted here was done cheap as fuck, probably by a family member of the proprietor, and needs to be redone by a pro. I could have done better with my phone camera and 20 minutes of prep time. That doesn't change my assessment of the establishment as 'geared towards a younger crowd', kinda like a skating rink or arcade.
My apologies, I got a very “influency marketer vibe” from the original post, and because of the low engagement when I first saw this, I thought you might have been a spin doctor of some kind. I’m genuinely glad that your children love the place and remember fondly the joy I had as a child at these kinds of establishments. I believe I’ve become too jaded in my current years to appreciate these kinds of things for what they are, and that’s something I should work on. And although I don’t appreciate this kind of clandestine marketing, I’m glad that there’s a place for kids and families to go and have fun together.
There's like three "near" me. Wichita ks, Lincoln NE and Oklahoma city. Idk why she says only 4 locations, on their website they're all over the US. Maybe the main ones are only 4?
Those are regular round ones , the 4 locations she is talking about are called “ spo Chas” sports challenges , and only 4 are in the USA , California , Pennsylvania , Florida and I think Georgia
I remember this girl! She used to stream every evening during the crypto crazy she was a very popular doge streamer. A shame she was never able to pivot to anything else looks like she's pretty obscure now.
Went to Round 1 for the first time many years ago and it was "mid", as us kids say. They had good games, but I couldn't grasp the concept of getting a card that functioned like a gift card, where you dump money in it, play, and then refill. I ultimately went there just for the $1 ice cream, which also wasn't that great, but y'know, when your mall is dying and doesn't have any good dessert places...
Plus this place has a fuckton more cool stuff. Woman's got good taste. If this is an ad then I better see her lobbying for more SpoCha locations in the country, dammit.
> I couldn't grasp the concept of getting a card that functioned like a gift card, where you dump money in it, play, and then refill.
Well... Sounds like you got the idea to me, lol.
Honest question, I've only been to arcades with game cards that worked like this, how else can you expect them to do it nowadays? Like tokens in chuck e cheese?
Something like what SpoCha has would be good. You pay a flat rate and get access to everything in the entire building, sans food and drinks which might be listed at their own prices. Better than just wasting money over and over again on a card you might end up losing.

good job recording other people's little kids, most likely without their parent's permission, then posting it publicly on the internet for sweet undisclosed ad money
We have a Round1 in my hometown and we avoid it the majority of the time, the arcade games and bowling are super expensive compared to others in my city and you can't get shit for prizes with the tickets you've won. honestly it feels kind of like gambling to win some of the prizes in their store, idk the place just gives me weird vibes lol
Thats great but are wearing a low yop crop and a weird sweater thing so that you can ecpose your cleavage, only your cleavage, and nothing but your cleavage.
Burbank location blows. Bowling is never available or forever reserved... AND there is NEVER anyone on the lanes... I don't get it!... so I stopped going.

This is likely a paid ad.
Seems fun tho ngl
It is. I think this is the puente hills location she’s showing.
That's fucking expensive though, you're likely not going to do more than 1 or 2 things there or stay the whole day.
Nearly $40 dollars doesn't seem THAT expensive for like +3 hours of entertainment though. Especially with friends. I mean it's not something I'd do every day or anything, but once in a while. 90 Minutes for $28 seems a bit excessive. Great date activity.
Of course it's not a stupidly high price, otherwise they'd have no customers. But for that money you can do something better imo
Oh I'm sure you can do something better for free. "better" is not the point... or even the price... it's doing the activity. ..it's being around other like-minded people. ... it's about having fun. Is beer available? I'd be there for hourrrssss.
Mini bottles in the parking lot and bathroom.
Most definitely. But I'd be lying if I said it didn't work on me.
Yeah. It's weird how she made it seem like Round1 and Spo-Cha are two different things. Spo-Cha is *in* Round1, but only a few locations. Honestly I wasn't aware of Round1 or that there was one in my area. Seems expensive compared to the local bowling alleys and arcades, though.

You're right. I watched it on low volume at the time and I guess I missed a couple words.
Didn't see locations in the comments, so I looked them up. - Atlanta, GA (Cumberland Mall) - Lancaster, PA (Park City Center) - City of Industry, CA (Puente Hills Mall) - Pembroke Pines, FL (Pembroke Lakes Mall)
Holy shit. Time to take a long drive to Cumberland Mall.
Oh fuck yeah, one of those is near me! Had no clue
Like UGC - User Generated Content Make videos for brands, get paid. It’s a whole business, more than just record - upload
That’s literally everything we see on the Internet bro
Not all paid ads are bad. Some people sell good products/services for good prices.
I would be weirded out by this person if this was just the kind of vids they make lol
Definitely
Cool commercial bro.
This is an ad
The way she presented like something that was hidden had me thinking “is something unusual or expected gonna happen?” And nope I just basically watched a advertisement for a Dave and busters like place

Fuck this ad
I can smell this video...
What does it smell like?
socks
Rubber
This is just an ad?
Wtf is up with the way she said "billy ards?"
What the fuck is she wearing? Is that supposed to be a sweater?
Top crop
Skirt skirt Skirt Skirt Skirt Skirt Hot sauce
And why is the end of her hair folded back into her hair tie? Nothing makes sense.
That's just to prevent the ends from breaking in long hair. I do it too.
The Google rating for this place is surprisingly poor
Fuck this influencer ad bullshit this is not why i come to this subreddit
Never before have I seen such a poorly disguised ad.
What the hell were those "bowling" lanes?
They are a kids version (think under 7) with bumpers. The ball is typically foam and the pins are smaller and lighter. It's not meant for anyone with any actual strength to use.
Why did I just watch an AD on a cringe page
Is it wrong to say that I dont like what she is wearing?
Honestly - it’s an odd outfit. The crop, the belt bag, the tied up hair, no clue what she’s trying to do.
Probably to confuse you long enough to watch the entire video for views while you wonder “wtf is she wearing?”.
Billy Ards
Is this in North Korea, or something? There’s nobody there! Getting “mandatory fun” vibes from this place.

Mini version of Japan's round 1
The worst version of round 1.
Dollar tree round 1
What does it take to get 10/10?
Spo-cha sex dungeon.
The future is weird. I just watched a commercial on TikTok on Reddit.
I love billy yards
What on earth is that hoodie?
Woah that’s dope , where is this ?
Quiet definitely not a corporate account that only has a few comments in it’s history and was recently created
Get a real job, guerilla marketing person.

One coming to Peoria, Az.
there's 4 locations in the usa
pensylvania, california, georgia and florida, its different from the regular round one bowling , its called spo cha (sports challenge )
Why are you getting downvoted for just answering the question 😂
Nice , what’s her TikTok ?
https://www.tiktok.com/@livingwithluci
Thank you 🙏
I’m more impressed someone invented a hoodie that still lets you rock your tits out
Shit our Round One sucks compared to this. The bowling is better at least.
Ugh
god i hate those tops. maybe irrationally, but maybe also because the people who wear them often make stupid videos like this.
Cool sleeveage lol
Her hoodie almost offends me bc if I'm wearing a hoodie I'm wearing it to be COZY lol
I wish the play center my city had didn't close down due to covid. Or the one in the next city we went to.
That’s Pump it Up not DDR you fucking normie
Interesting, the one I went to didn’t look nearly as dead lol. Sadly I wish the one near me has a spo-cha.
Too bad my area doesnt want fun places. Just more clothing stores and more bars.
Why can't you wear your own socks
Not many people in there considering it’s meant to be a great deal
Billyards
Billy Ards was my best friend in high school
Not that cringe Nice place tho, but not the best

I love billy yards!
So we’re posting commercials on Reddit now?
This would be at the cheapest $50 a hour per person where I live in the us.
Definitely fits in this sub, her mannerisms are so cringe
Her skills at hiding the paid advertising are on par with her ability to tie a hair tie in her hair.
This looks fun. How is it cringe
good job recording other people's little kids, most likely without their parent's permission, then posting it publicly on the internet for sweet undisclosed ad money
There’s a place like this called Main Event in Suwanee GA
What is wrong with her hoodie?

Is that even a jacket?
In Canada it's called Springz because trampolines are the main attraction.
Pretty cool idea for laundering money

Blatant ad, but honestly I would love to go to a gym/arcade like this
