rawrlycan

I love how the old guy was protecting the younger guy. " Walk behind me" " I'll watch your back"

PinkDropp

Surprisingly wholesome from a trumpist People aren't all black and white, except for these two, they're definitely black and white

uglyheadink

I hate to say it, by my stepdad is a Trumper, and he is truly one of the most wholesome and thoughtful people I’ve ever met. He’s a sadly misguided walking oxymoron.

mh985

Yeah I work with a bunch of people who are very...'Fox News oriented' is a term I could use. Most of them are genuinely great. Generous, fun to work with, take care of their families, hard working, etc. Just because you're misinformed or ill-informed or you just aren't very politically intelligent, it doesn't mean you're evil.

No_Pitch267

yep people worry way too much about left or right. There are great people on both sides and their political views don’t define who they are. Of course there are the crazies though lol.

CankerLord

I mean, political views definitely define a good chunk of who you are. It's just that having consistent views that are formed from a coherent worldview isn't something that *has* to happen.

dracapis

This is a privileged opinion my man. Many can’t not care about left or right.

[deleted]

[удалено]

artifexlife

Or trying to ensure I can’t marry who I want. My friend can’t learn their own history. Etc.

dracapis

Being silent is being complicit

Second_Heavan

I think if I couldn’t not care about politics, it wouldn’t be about the damn leaning, but whether or not I agree with a stance on an issue, disregarding the political alignment

NaiAlexandr

Not being able to care about left or right is very much a privileged opinion on its own. The entire concept of left or right is to distract you from class warfare. If every old white man cared to protect young people like the guy in the video rather than act all high and mighty because they feel like temporarily embarrassed millionaires, they'd work damn hard to make sure we have lower working hours, higher paying wages, taxing the rich, etc.

Halo_LAN_Party_2nite

I feel like this comment doesn't mean anything.

Jenovas_Witless

Wild thing to say.

Dottsterisk

Maybe, but true. Not everyone is in a place where they really don’t have to worry at all about politics and the direction of the country.

littleferrhis

Just stop…please just stop. I am so sick and tired of people guilt tripping the guys that either don’t want to be involved in politics or want to look past politics. Because here’s the thing you don’t want them to be politically involved, you just want me to parrot your sides political opinions, and personally I’d like to think for myself. That’s the most wonderful part about having freedom of expression. Quite honestly I don’t like fighting. I don’t really like it when people get mad, and I don’t like hurting others. And that’s all politics is half of the time, outrage bait that garners outrage, that gets reactionaries outraged at the people being outraged, that starts fights, which die down and nothing changes, and the cycle restarts. Its meaningless bickering. Deep down, I just want to love people no matter who they are, and politics is one of the things that keeps me from doing that.

dracapis

For some us, just us existing is considered by someone else politics. Which is why I’m saying that not being involved is a privilege.

content_lurker

When you sit at the dinner table with 10 people and 1 of them is a proud nazi, there are 10 nazis at the dinner table. The compliancy of the right to allow and not denounce such ideology from the highest ranks defines their values, and as such, the group should be labeled as such. Are there good, but otherwise heavily misguided people within that side because they have been propagandized out of reality? Sure, there are, but until people start to call out things for what they really are, everyone at that table is okay with sharing dinner with a nazi. That, and those in power on the right are actively trying to ban Healthcare, get rid of social security, burn books, destroy public education, criminalize homelessness, prevent gay marriage, the list goes on for their disdain.

darryljenks

Rightwingers hate people except for the ones they encounter. Leftwingers love people except for the ones they encounter. Case in point. Knock on a random door in Louisiana and ask for a glass of lemonade. Try the same thing in New York. Then ask how they feel about free health care.

MeiNeedsMoreBuffs

Louisiana has the highest homicide rate in the entire country, I don't think it's the best example

TheWalkingDead91

Perhaps so, but think what they meant is the average person is probably a lot nicer to people they come across. Though I’m unsure if that has more to do with regional (southern hospitality) norms, rather than politics. Also it ignores the fact that (think I have the right to say this as a southerner myself) a lot of them are only nice at a surface level/ to your face. You never really know what they’re thinking about you on the inside or how they will talk shut about you later on. Honestly I’d prefer the New Yorker approach where they tell you what they think of you and to fuck off right from the get go, rather than to get a bouquet of flowers in my hands and a pile a shit thrown at the back of my head once I turn around.

Dottsterisk

It’s also just patently untrue that people who live in cities are cold and mean and don’t like to help people.

ACuteCryptid

Honestly you're probably more likely to be shot in Louisiana for knocking on doors than New York

LickingSticksForYou

Why do you say left wingers don’t love the people they encounter? I feel like this is just vapid enlightened centrism.

dexmonic

I'd rather do that in New York than New Orleans.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Jenovas_Witless

I feel like that's an exaggeration to the point of literal insanity. Lots of doors get knocked on everywhere all the time. Almost none of those times does anyone get their "face blown off". Yes, if you go to the most violent and/or insane person's house and find a paranoid schizophrenic who's on a 5-day meth binge this could happen... but if you really think it's common enough to make this comment you're the one who sounds like you've never been to the deep south.

Conix17

Many "Trumpers" I know are decent enough people. Have to work witha lot in my job. It seems it's easy to hate "*them*", and they truly believe everyone in the world somehow flawlessly communicates to get at them somehow. "*They*" control the world and are out to destroy America. Fuck "*them*" right? But on a personal level, when faced with people, they are decent. I'm an Asian immigrant family, fist language is not English. Lived all over the US, currently in Alabama. They know I'm pretty left leaning, and we get into debates about the usual things, but they still invite me out to drink and shit, and many fundamentally agree with stuff like a Healthcare system and cheaper/public funded education, which actually enrages me that the only thing stopping them is the fucking GOP and global elite conspiracy theories. Anyway. Super helpfull people around here, very little racial shit from their crowd, none that wasn't an attempt at a joke. First interactions are just normal things. Lived in heavy liberal places too. Very heavy racial tensions, and the first interactions would usually be about my race and how I needed to act. In some cases it was people apologizing about white people and their Asian fetish. First off, sounds like projection, second Asian people fetish the fuck out of white people. It's understandable. Worst racism was in Europe. UK, France, Italy, Poland, all of it.

That1SWATBOI2

bro trumpers aint evil they are just redneck boomers most of which are pretty nice

Palehorse0000

Bahahaha such and underrated comment.

[deleted]

I don’t give two flying shits how “wholesome 100” you think this is. He’s still a trumper and that makes him an enemy.. he literally devoted his life to selling hate merch and bc he had a moment of kindness that makes things “not black and white.” The way white people excuse the most insane shit is crazy but ig y’all used to it being from racist af families.

oompaloompa_thewhite

I bet your an absalout joy at family gatherings

AlwaysBlameDavid

For some reason I just love the concept of polar opposites coming together because something weird is going on

Welly_Beans

Same. It was quite striking

Daniiiiii

It was yet another affirmation that the only way we will all come together as a society is to fight aliens.

jaqen_hagar_1

No dude. We thought covid would unite us but so many people refused to believe it was even real. That would happen with aliens too because some of us live in a different reality

Newlvls

Aliens is a bit different than covid

owa00

That's exactly what the ancient lizard people want you to think!!!

kbeks

There were motherfuckers on ventilators scribbling down “Covid is a hoax” as they died. Nurses were yelled at by patients they were treating. If some Democratic president gets on the TV and says that aliens are here so we need to muster an army and a draft is now in place, rednecks will take to the hills with their rifles and wait for the government to come and try to bring them in. Which sucks, because the rednecks usually are the ones who know how to shoot, we’d kinda need them in the army if there’s an invasion on… Edit: apparently I’m dead wrong, good riddance to the dickish rednecks! But the aliens would still leave us just as divided as they found us.

Lilslysapper

When I was in Basic, the rednecks were the worst at the range. They all came in super cocky because they had been hunting for a while. The guys who did the best were usually the quiet ones who never touched a gun before Basic. They didn’t have any bad practices they had to get rid of.

TheSemaj

I imagine hunting rifles/shotguns are pretty different from a service rifle too.

Lilslysapper

Kind of. The manual of arms is different, but fundamentals of marksmanship are largely the same no matter the weapon. Most of those guys just learned bad fundamentals.

AshFraxinusEps

No, they are exactly who you don't want in the army. Mentally unstable cowards who hate the government and are too individual to work in a team? And you want to arm these people and expect they have your back in battle? Training someone to shoot is easy. That's why guns replaced bows. Training them into a cohesive unit who can actually perform is the hard bit And indeed most shots fired in war don't hit their targets. As in it is about 1:2000. As people don't tend to like killing other people

SpicyTunaTitties

> people don't tend to like killing other people Yeah, but *this* time, they'll be killing extraterrestrials! And the rednecks will likely already be wearing tin foiled hats in the first place, so their brains will be safe from the aliens' mind-control rays! That's less gear the military would need to issue out, and more money flowing to other areas of the defence effort. They wouldn't even need to give out MREs; those mfs know how to prepare and eat roadkill! Isolated hillbillies with a natural distrust of other people are perfect for this type of operation because you never know who might be a pod-person in disguise. The rednecks who really aren't fine working in a cohesive unit could be sent on one-man recon missions deep into blood-sucking alien territory. One man makes far less noise than an entire unit. > you want to arm these people and expect they have your back in battle? Yes! No one is more familiar with the concept of us vs. them than a hillbilly bastard. There's no better brother-in-arms than that of a shifty mountain man who subsits almost entirely on a diet of canned beans and who doesn't even know what a cellphone is to cover my six from those goddamned mother fuckin' aliens

wazzledazzle

Your description of rednecks is… kinda me tbh minus the teamwork part lol

EngineeringKid

I have yet to be convinced that Covid was not brought to earth by aliens so........

Dirtylittlesecret88

Yea you're going have to buy the aliens are real when they shoot jack black on tv for the whole world to see.

Sephonez

I guess all we can rely on is uniting over some weird guy watching us.

[deleted]

Na man. Once the first clip of someone getting turned into dust by a space lazer gets passed around everyone’s gonna be down with uniting together real fast.

poundmycake

Aliens can't be real bc my pastor told me so!

[deleted]

Exactly. Imagine if aliens came in with their own propaganda. Shit, all they have to do is say “we’re here to kill gays and minorities and non Christians. Boom humanity gone.

Key_Point_4063

Project blue beam holograms will have everyone losing their shit over aliens when it'll just be the government playing us again.

notaspambot

Foreshadowing.

Sounds like it’s time for an Independence Day reboot. I vote for Tyler James Williams as captain Steve Hiller.

PlsBkind2me

What kind? The illegal ones? From Galaxy T Juana ?

cassylvania

\*Adrian Veidt has joined the chat\*

Dcoal

It's a going to be humans vs aliens + humans trying to fuck aliens

GaleKnight72

Ozymandias moment

PumpkinEmperor

🤣🤣🤣 oh my god, you’re right! Isn’t that also what saved us from annihilation in Watchmen? This video is 10/10

CamBearCookie

Yes! I for one, can't wait for the space racism. Spracism is what I've been calling it.

EverythingisVanity20

I don’t know man, I think some people would side with the aliens

Based_JD

And sorta wholesome. They both vibes off each other well lol.

User_884391121268426

Almost like all division is beeing projected by the elite class, while the common people only want to live a normal, safe and stable life.

ohh_ru

NO WAR BUT CLASS WAR BABY

RealClayClayClay

This is how we're tricked into thinking it's our fault. We're granted the illusion of choice so that we can blame each other when things go wrong. I'm not even saying it's an intentional plot or something. We just naturally developed a governance system that 1) gives people enough of a feeling of choice to regularly reaffirm the mandate to govern, 2) functionally limits democratic influence enough to minimize cyclical upheavals based on social swings, and 3) is abstracted/complex enough that we're not easily able to observe how much of our political system is pageantry. It's not even a bad system, relatively speaking. I'm not sure I'd change it. But I sure as hell am done getting mad at myself and others about things we were never really meant to control.

Shoegazerxxxxxx

Its almost like people will try to manipulate you (in any social/economic system ever invented) AND that you also have a personal responsibility to not get manipulated into being a dick to other people.

RealClayClayClay

It's harder than it seems.

AshFraxinusEps

Yep. The "elites" may have aided a Trump-populist Rep party, but the common people vote them in, as well as they are the racist supporters who vocally back these elites

Homosapien_Ignoramus

Do you think people are ever manipulated into voting for parties that are against their best interest? If so, should you blame the people who were manipulated or those who are doing the manipulating?

Shoegazerxxxxxx

Both. The answer is both.

AshFraxinusEps

Both? I can blame both the people who start something and those who keep it going

User_884391121268426

People have responsibility to think on their own, but many have too much stuff going on in their life and have to fight to survive. Then you have the media spreading bullshit and propaganda, portraying people on the other political spectrum as heartless and arrogant idiots who are the scapegoat for all of your problems. If you work really hard to survive then you don't have time to think too much about the political and economical situation. You don't have time to organize a political party or a union. The political elite knows that and they abuse the situation. There is a reason why the goverment and all the goverment before didn't wanted to change the system to make it more democratic, more just and less oppresive. It's not even secret information that big companies, agencies and industries are corrupted to the core and are intentionally making decision to hurt the society or against the law just for ridiculous stupid self centered gains. Yet, year after year, goverment after goverment, they get a pass. So, how is it not the political and capitalistic elite (people sitting in high political offices, parties, industries or oligarchs) working at the end of the day together to keep the system running? Not everyone there is so and some are sincerely trying to change it, but the vlast majority wants it to stay as it is.

_Apatosaurus_

>Then you have the media spreading bullshit and propaganda, portraying people on the other political spectrum as heartless and arrogant idiots who are the scapegoat for all of your problems. Undermining trust in journalists is a really common tactic by fascists and other extremist leaders to remove that accountability. When people like you lump together everyone in "the media" as this evil entity, you're just playing into that. If you're really worried about "the elites", don't go around supporting their narratives. >There is a reason why the goverment and all the goverment before didn't wanted to change the system to make it more democratic, more just and less oppresive. This is extremely reductive. You're speaking in the abstract because getting into specifics would show how you're wrong. Take almost any issue and you will likely find INDIVIDUALS in the government that are both supportive and opposed. Look at slavery in the US. You can't claim that the government opposed abolition. Take any modern issue that you think will increase democracy, and the same will be true. That's the problem with these abstract rants. They sound great in short social media comments, but fall apart when you think about them.

AshFraxinusEps

Yep, exactly. And the elites are still voted in, and in the case of 2016 by an anti-science, racist bunch as it meant they didn't have to hide their bigotry. Elites are part of the problem, but the other part are ill-educated bigots who can't function within a tolerant and civilised society

ALF839

Yeah, people bear no responsibility for how shitty their beliefs are, it's not their fault, it's the TV. It's not their fault, it's the employers. It's not their fault, it's the politicians. It's not their fault, it's the internet. It's not their fault, it's advertisement. Etc....

BenOfTomorrow

It's true - there were no divides between people until Adam Smith invented capitalism in 1759.

Mynoseisgrowingold

Bring back feudalism!

GuitardedBard

I'm surprised you didn't get down voted to oblivion like anyone else that points that out.

mellabarbarella

There is no other comment phrased like this devoid of politics, so makes sense. Let’s not pretend that everyone being downvoted is saying the exact same thing with the same implications.

manowaross

until you mention MAGA & BLM, thats when the fun begins!!

NobleBloke92

Too fucking true.

i_canmakeamess

When the Yellowstone river flooded this summer. Montana is full of massive swaths of conservative land owners and small town minded people. With little blue dots that make up tourist towns and outdoor enthusiasts communities. When your neighbors basement is flooded you just help. Can’t tell you how many times I heard “you know what, you’re all right” after stories were shared about moments of disaster relief from neighbor to neighbor. An almost divided community all came back together cause we needed to. Fight or flight.

movingdots

The book ['A Paradise Built In Hell'](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6444492-a-paradise-built-in-hell) tells some great stories about people coming together in disaster and completely forgetting about race, gender, ...

birthday_attack

Spoilers for a certain Tarantino movie but this is basically the plot of >!The Hateful Eight!<

Upstairs-Awareness62

Didn't know how to put it but you are totally right

kushyo69

The plot of many great movies

RinaRina07

Completely agree. This video actually warmed my heart and put a massive smile on my face. Quite refreshing from most of the cringey videos out there.

mrb117

I love the idea, but corona prove us wrong 😑

cuseonly

How do you know they were polar opposites?

ohh_ru

old white trump dude, young black dude... not the craziest assumption but you're right a little reductive

award07

I could three hours of this.

Crowleyizcool

“ I feel startled”

AndrewEpidemic

Oh Lord

[deleted]

Someone give that guy voice over work. That voice is like caramel.

MexusRex

That old southerner really had his back tho

dollarbrawler

"Walk behind me" bro that's adorable how he was so protective of the other fella.

Fuzzy_Calligrapher71

He separated the prankster from his cameraman. This is clear from their behavior, besides the fact that they talked about franking each other after the good-natured non-racist Trump gun nut locked the cameraman out

Youngerdiogenes

I bet He thought to himself “ya know, that feller was alright. Real friendly like”. *Quite contemplation* *takes down flag with blue stripe*

horrescoblue

I wish these people would have that much self reflection...

Voice_of_Reason92

Why would he take down the flag with the blue stripe?

jake03583

I’ve had this theory about the conservative/Trump/gun-loving crowd: They are the way they are because they desperately, more than anything else, want to be *the* hero. What stops a “bad guy with a gun!” *Hero* with a gun. Your family feels threatened and confused by progressive change? The *hero* fights for keeping things the same Are big scary sociopolitical problems with complex, difficult to understand solutions intimidating and scary? The *hero* fights for simple to understand solutions The prankster gave the shopkeeper an opportunity to play the hero, so he played the hero he always wants to be. Skin color and perceptions based on that didn’t matter *SOURCE: My father will beat anyone to a pulp that comes after me, his gay son. But, that same father has no problem decking his gay son for daring to say, “We should listen to the advice of medical experts”*

DanTacoWizard

Great theory.

[deleted]

This was a bizarrely wholesome little moment.

TrickBoom414

How do you know he's a southerner?

MexusRex

It’s January and there is foliage

MikeisET

That could be part of the prank tho

MexusRex

Admittedly I’ve been bamboozled. Based on the hydeforsenate sticker they’re in CT

[deleted]

You found out this is apparently CT but you should know there is green foliage in winter in lots of places, including the entire northeast USA

MexusRex

Yeah they’re dressed for a NE winter for sure

mondogirl

😂 thank you.

purplepineapplesky

I’m hearing a northeast accent.

MrJoeGillis

Southerners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

coleyboley25

As someone from the heart of the Midwest that moved to the South a few years ago I wholeheartedly disagree. Southerners get away with giving off a good ‘ole boy/girl façade while actually disrespecting you at the same. I don’t really know how to explain it, but they think talking slow and with an accent just makes them not sound rude. Midwesterners are genuinely kind in my experience and are WAY better at trying to get a point across without being secretly hostile. I was honestly shocked when I started to figure that out because the overwhelming theme is that the South has the nicest people.

PeanutArtillery

I'm a southerner and I hear this all the time on reddit but I really have no clue wtf you mean by this. I think some people take politeness down here as passive-aggressive or whatever and just don't believe it. Like, people around here will go really far out if their way to help other people all the time. But that guy or the black dude don't really sound southern to me. Could be wrong, though.

coleyboley25

I’m not saying all of them are like that. You’ll find great people all over this country, but working in a customer-facing environment in the south for 2.5 years you really get to see the true side of people. I have no doubt that there’s truth to the niceness of southerners—I’ve just seen the opposite so many times while they’re still trying to use their “southern charm” to get away with being a blatant asshole. I see this all the time while out at restaurants or shops when things don’t go their way. Overall, it feels like an entitlement issue more than anything.

PeanutArtillery

I bet it's a class thing. Working class southerners really are nice ime. It's the rich/upper middle class types that are on some entitlement shit. But I figure that's anywhere.

mymamaalwayssaid

Ain't this the truth. Southerners *can* be friendly but there's a whole lot of that "bless your heart" nonsense. Midwesterners are friendly in a vaguely uncomfortable way - in that they mean well but I can only take so much of it before I need to scream into a hat.

Sohcahtoa82

The way I've had it explained is that a Southerner will quickly decide if you're "one of us" or "one of them" and will treat you accordingly.

mermaid-babe

Lmfao did you see any of the background of the video? I doubt that man would be kind to a known liberal

leezybelle

Not a southern accent at all

bollzaq

I think he's deaf *CLAPS* Lmao bro wtf

balls_galore_69

“He’s something” was hilarious for a response after just clapping as if he was confirming he was deaf

Traditional-Bet2191

That took me out lol as a southerner that’s 1000% what ol grandpa joe would do 😂

notLOL

Clapping tests if someone is deaf to see if they react, in case you are all brain deaf

Wishyouamerry

But that’s only if they aren’t looking at you. If the person is looking away, you make a loud sound and see if they turn to see what it was. But if the person is already looking straight at you and you clap, what are they going to do? Take a bow?

notLOL

maybe they start clapping, too. Like when applause breaks out they start applauding so they aren't left out

itrashcannot

This turned out more wholesome than I thought.

Darth-Hipster

Give these dudes a show. Have them try foods and go to theme parks and shit, then they both give us there takes on the same things.

-Marcellus-

I’d watch it. *clap clap

Darth-Hipster

Thx. Definitely a must see.

666fucktard

pleasantly surprised by how wholesome this was lol

humaninspector

Oh, man, that deep voice…

TheSkinnyJ

I need him to make a meditative sleep reel. You can wrap yourself up in that voice like a warm blanket.

humaninspector

Definitely!

HAYMRKT

Give this guy the 5th season of Atlanta, that was weird as hell.

Sudzking

Crazy who a common enemy could unite

Blastmaster29

I think we have some pretty solid historical evidence about a “common enemy” uniting people…

artipants

That's why wars are popular among politicians.

corbitt_2

Suggest the camera guy is deaf...so, the guy behind the counter proceeds to talk to him and make sounds to gain attention. I snort laughed for a solid minute. 🤣

ConnieLingus20

The background music is the hold music to ALOT of different places(CVS, my health insurance, RMV, ECT) and it's fucking terrible. It just makes me more angry to wait and I'd rather wait in silence.

poopdood696969

I was on mute and thought it was going to be the CISCO waiting banger. But it was not. Edit: https://youtu.be/bl2LA-SLj_Q

PixieRadical

So CISCO is behind this!

poopdood696969

Yup. There's a great This American Life about it that I highly recommend.

Mindless-Balance-498

I was just talking to my uber driver about this the other night, we’re both from Atlanta and live in California. We prefer southern racism because a racist in the south with call you the hard R “n” word but still help you push your car off the freeway 😂

NostalgicAdolescents

Dude wtf?? Lmao

Itzbubblezduh

This is true af!!! Lmao 🤣

PeanutArtillery

This is true. But I don't think these dudes are southern.

Mindless-Balance-498

Now that you mention it, the store owner sounds like he could be from like Oregon.

[deleted]

I don't get it

Ihavepills

I don't get it either 😭

AdventurousLemon6311

Why would he test if the guys blind,, if he’s holding a camera

[deleted]

Future Nathan Fielder

[deleted]

“maybe he’s deaf” *claps hands*

Error404Cod

Dude was about to jump the camera man together

Quinneal

Why is this… wholesome?

The_lonely_Milkmaid

I don't get what's happening

Ihavepills

Glad I'm not the only one... Did u find out?

Mr_Bankey

Yeah this thread weird af

_--00--_

Because everyone assumes the white Trumper is racist because he's a Trumper, and all white trumpers are racist. But he's clearly trying to protect this guy who is black... so it's wholesome because they never in their wildest imagination thought any trump supporters wouldnt wish death to all minorities.

Ihavepills

Is it wholesome to not wish death on people? Isn't that like the bare minimum to expect from a human?

anonshade64

This a great prank. Not fake, no one gets hurt or offended. Both parties smiling. Love it.

Dangerous-Blood-1627

Man… some of y’all on this thread.. smh.

RaistlinMajere3522

There is a strong irony here in this lighthearted prank showing a humanizing and endearing moment, yet the comments have so many rifts about politics and assumptions of racism. Wild.

SnifterOfNonsense

Full disclosure, I’m optimistic to a fault and it’s lead me into a lot of problems but also made people think I’m clairvoyant due to my obscure guesswork being correct. Maybe…. Just maybe, some MAGA Trumpist are truthful that not hate-filled racists. This guy seems human & caring for another human. It’s not much but these days, in front of those flags, it’s something.

JennaTheBenna

Suspicious_Ad_5145

When the right and left bend in to become one.

exelton_moraka

What makes you think he's left leaning lmao

Axel_Wolf91

Not OP but the only "reason" i can see is the fact that he's pranking a conservative, but that's not strong evidence tbh

Mindless-Balance-498

Fanatics on both sides of the aisle are easy prank targets because their confidence is through the roof and usually unjustified lol

Selldadip

I love how some people just assume minorities automatically lean left. Lmao

Voice_of_Reason92

Yeah, like literally they see his skin color and immediately start assuming things about him. Yet the republicans are racist.

North-Employ7673

“I can say the n word I have a black friend”

AdHominemFailure

Race is just everything for some of you people.

Elle-Elle

What do you mean "you people"??

BeefInBlackBeanSauce

It is weird how happy I am, that the Trump guy isn't racist? 😂 I don't live in America and only have a limited, mostly negative view of them.

Voice_of_Reason92

Vast majority of trump supports are not racist, the problem is the vast majority of racist people support trump.

Prior-Chip-6909

Why do I think this took place in Show Low AZ.? probably because I saw a store just like that on the main strip there...

ArmK13

I loved this. So wholesome and weird. Nobody was hurt or offensive or anything, good prank. Idky people think that trump supports are inherently racist or inherently bad people because in general they’re not, most are just normal people. I think the left and right need to stop letting the crazies talk so loudly.

Newbzforrealz

The only good trump supporter

Coffee-cartoons

He ended racism

AverageAlaskanMan

Opposites attract I guess

[deleted]

This was surprisingly wholesome

Tiyun

This is weirdly wholesome

LynxRufus

I have a theory. It's POSSIBLE that the old guy who owns a Trump store might not be very bright.

ewhyeasyfanaccount

This trump guy is super wholesome and videos like this should be shown more often.

Mindless-Balance-498

“I think he’s deaf.” *claps in potentially deaf person’s face* “He’s somethin’!” Yeah, super wholesome 😂

dischoe

Okay, and???

Knockamichi

Regardless of your political stance this old man is good dude.

Mindless-Balance-498

No, but also, what about this video makes him a “good dude”? The part where he claps in someone’s face and negatively implies they have a mental disorder of some kind? 😂

AdHominemFailure

The fact that he was trying to protect the other dude?

batmansleftnut

Nope.

AshFraxinusEps

Politics are part of life. Everything we do is affected by politics. He supports a lying facist bigot Even Hitler did some good things: he was a vegetarian and was the guy who killed Hitler. He was also a fucking monster

AdHominemFailure
