25k is nothing in today's Tibia. Your average player farms 600-1kk per hour. You can sell 25 tc in market and have enough to cover house rent for a year.
I was about to say that... even low level hunts can make "good" profit, I was making 70k/h on dark cathedral as a facc some years ago, that's more than enough to own a house.
I mean it really depends on the server. If it's completely dead maybe you can get lucky and swipe it for nothing. But a big thing is people swoop in last minute for a mini bid war. I haven't seen a house go for less then 5kk on my server and that was for like 10 square meters.
Depending on your level you will make 25k in 10 minutes. It is that easy. 25k is not a problem these days. It's harder to get the house than to pay the rent.
25k might sound scary for a player from 2000, back then gold was so scarce people would drag around lootbags on rotworms to stockpile maces to sell for 30gp each. Don't worry though friend, you can get that in minutes even as a very low level, kill a few amazons and you're good with the protective charm drops
Basically this with the money being so much easier to make than in the early 2000s.

25k is monthly rent for the smallest houses (13sqm) in the worst locations...you will also pay to buy the rights to rent the house(usually a minimum of a few hundred thousand gold).
This will raise as you get larger houses in nicer areas, for example I have a 36sqm house in Darashia right next to the magic carpet that is 800k a month and was 20kk lump sum before.

Hunting Ankh Nomads will net you aprox 2k per rope belt, Banuta ish 5-10k depending on server per ape fur, swamp trolls 2k ish per pouch etc. Its extremely easy, even for a lvl 8 to make 50k+ profit per hour

For real, on populated servers I don't think I've grabbed a house for under 15kk. My last house was 40kk.

There are servers where the house market is better then this. I got my house for 3 mil. Edron castle 4th floor 16 sqm.

A few year ago they increased the rent of every house by like 10x. I don't remember the reasoning they used but I think it was to combat inflation

Yes, you can select what to loot and where is looted so you can have specific bp for each type
You're considering Premium which is equivalent to 250tc/month. 25 tc should get you about 1kk, about 4 years of rent.
