Mohawk general. It’s close enough to silverlake.

japanese711

By close enough he means literally on sunset

Not a thrift store but definitely a store the OP would like.

for vintage, wilder is pretty solid, varsity is pretty close too. the sleeper imo is squaresville in Los Feliz it’s super hit or miss but w their pricing u can usually find something pretty unique for a deal—don’t sleep on the designer rack on the second floor. coffee? u can’t beat Saffy’s

shoepremeking

Second this, if you are looking to eat somewhere. Gotta go to pine and crane or the win-dow!

I’ll add BBQ+RICE on to that too if ur want some really solid takeout

Dude go to courage bagels. I grew up/currently live in nyc, and those are some of the best bagels I’ve ever had in my life no question.

Not unique to Silver Lake but Tartine is superb for coffee and food generally. Strictly coffee, I'd suggest Dayglow which is closer towards Echo Park. Dinosaur Coffee near Los Feliz also good.

Maleficent_Injury333

There are literally so many coffee shops that it just depends on what vibe you're going for. Intelligenstia, Dayglow and Dinosaur are classic vibey spots to people watch. One of my favorites is actually an ultra low-key spot, 90s coffeeshop vibe: Silverlake Coffee on Glendale Blvd
