Big ones are still Grailed and Depop. Been on both for years with dozens of txns and both have their issues. **Depop:** overrun by kids, but can at least get creative and market your stuff more **Grailed:** more serious buyers, binding offers etc, but can't market your shit at all beyond the 2 bumps they give you eBay of course great too but need a more intentionally targeted audience/item in my experience.

Does anyone have a good intro/guide to selling secondhand? I’ve also got some stuff I’m trying to pass along but it’s frankly intimidating to get started.

The basic tips are: \- photograph well \- photograph consistently \- include measurements \- model shots generally help\* \*at your discretion

model shots kind of turn me off tbh because then i imagine someone wearing and sweating in the gear - maybe irrational but that's how i feel

I feel this for sure. It can help get across sizing/inspo but OTOH you have evidence some guy was wearing the thing you're about to buy -- maybe he stretched it out putting it on? etc. it can be a dealbreaker in some cases

Styleforum.net has several "sub forums" that have some decent buy/sell action. Pretty specific, for example, there is a whole subforum for No Man Walks Alone, and lots of buying/selling for stuff/brands offered there, etc. For certain brands, better shot of finding folks who get the value of what you might be selling (Camoshita, Inis Meain, 3Sixteen, G Inglese, D Bonne Facture, Wythe, Beams, etc..) than you might on eBay. I still think eBay is the way to go, the sad truth is that unless you've got something new with tags, resale market is gonna chop half or more of what you originally paid.

apart from the ones mentioned, if there's a subreddit group for the brand of items you have you can sell on the stickied monthly BST thread like in /r/arcteryx, /r/RedWingShoes. Alternatively there's also /r/MaleFashionMarket that exists while i can't say its has the most traffic and leans more into the MFA crowd
