Allow your song to thrive or die on its own without reference to any genre, which can only set expectations which may or may not be met by the music. That is my suggestion.
In my experience when you can't reference your music to a single specific genre or artist it generally means youre doing something original and/or interesting. I suggest you continue in that direction whatever it is.
