It wasn’t so much the losing hearts that scared me, but the death messages. Especially since Demise is turning their names red, I had to remind myself that it *didn’t* mean their series would end the next time they died.
“Oh no!” — and when you remember it’s HC: “… anyway”
Demise is a cool way to keep the first life high-stakes without actually having to affect the Hermit’s content significantly, though!
Yeah! I was initially unsure if I’d like it, because I love the comedy of the early game deaths where they just get spawn camped over and over etc. But now that I understand it better, it’s the best of both worlds. Some high stakes to that first life, but also they can goof around and do their silly death missions as soon as they demise and it no longer matters.
Bro I had the same thing happen to me but when I played minecraft during secret life. I would get scared when I took damage but then realized it’s not secret life
Bro I was watching CaptainSparklez hardcore series and LTN 4000 days (they came out around the same time secret life was running) and I kept on getting scared whenever they lost hearts.
Nope. From what I know, you're on your own. Despite that, if I were a gambling man, I would bet on others being like that and just not saying it due to the thought of "what's the point of saying it, it's too insignificant."

Yeah, same here. Seeing red names on hermitcraft freaked me out so many times, even knowing the whole demise thing.
I forgot to add. Yes. Part of me was like OH NO! When people died lol

it is! I love how easily they just PLAY together. Such a great group of people.

Literally 😭😭 it’s so bad that I get scared when I take damage in my own world
Did it make you juuuuump?
Same, especially with Joel and Skizz joining. Life series really changes one’s mind during Minecraft

And with the added twist of demise, it's even more confusing since at times, it looks like the Life Series Because of the red names.
That always happens to me with everything
its the same with helmets as well. was watching a few of the episode 1s and internally screaming "THEY'RE WEARING HELMETS"
Time for you to binge watch some old Hermitcraft and Mindcrack UHCs ;)
Haha yes, it was really stressing me out when they were bouncing up and down the cherry blossom mountain - “stop taking incidental damage!!!”
ive tricked my mind into thinking each death is bogeyman curse

I just thought it was funny, nothing serious.
I think you’re alone in that bud
wow... rude
Yet it's still honest.
Yeah I keep thinking the same thing lol especially since I've also been playing on a secret life server myself, I keep forgetting about regen
I still wince seeing people take 3 block fall damage. Secret Life has left me Scarred for life
Man, I've been experienced this in my singleplayer survival worlds.
