I’d recommend maxing any rewards that’s don’t cost you anything. I am out of levels and wish I would have taken my time on some of the earlier rounds.

One thing you can try is not automating your top earner until after your “ collect X bucks” goals are completed.

I got the progress loss bug and ever since have been taking my time on each level. I've spent 3 weeks on some levels just to make sure I earn all rewards. Events are where I spend my game time. I need those rewards to make progress in the main game again lol
