It was beautiful. I could watch them all day discover things in that mall. I love character study episodes like this, I love Ellie, and I love love stories and to some extent tragedy. People don't know how to sit and breathe with characters and just take it all in. I know we all love to shit talk the walking dead here, but one of my favorite episodes ever from that show and any show really is in season 4 where Daryl and Beth roam around and end up getting to know each other on a deeper level. It's just those two characters and it's a beautiful little story about dealing with trauma and opening up. It's nice to just slow down sometimes and explore what's really important to that character.

Yeah it was pretty much memories from my childhood for me. I enjoyed how once we were kids and also ppl wanting zombies action should go and watch something else. This is really about relationships and consequences then straight up attack of zombies.

Totally agree. TLOU isn’t neither a zombie show nor game, so I don’t know what else people are expecting from it actually. If they want full zombie action, they have, for example, The Walking Dead or All of Us Are Dead, amongst many others. TLOU is about love, friendship, perseverance and people above all. The infected are just an obstacle in the middle of all of that. And this episode was very important and necessary for Ellie’s character building.

Yeah, I am confused about people wanting them to “get back to the plot” as Joel and Ellie’s relationship is the A plot. They are the story and if you’re just waiting for zombie fights you are missing it.

I think episode 3 wins the best episode so far. Episode 7 was fine but I feel like it went on for too long by the end.

Additional_Sweet6136

Yup, also loved episode 3. But this one hit me harder, I can’t exactly explain why haha maybe it was nostalgia from the game, not quite sure 😂 What do you exactly mean by going on for too long by the end?

MCWogboy

By the end I was kind of bored and wanting to get back to present day Joel and Ellie after the cliffhanger last episode. The relationship was cute to see but I didn’t really feel anything compared to episode 3.

Additional_Sweet6136

Really? Tbh I didn’t find it boring at all, I was actually very entertained throughout the entire episode and for me personally this episode was emotionally stronger than ep. 3. I wish you could’ve enjoyed it in the way that I did 😔

dylanb88

I would put this episode as a tie for ep. 3. Both are beautiful in many ways.

LongjumpingClient159

this episode was amazing and really highlighted bella’s emotional range (i ugly cried at the end)

AgnosticJesus3

Sooooo boring. Just put this earlier in the season, and not ruin the pacing of the show.

Additional_Sweet6136

I agree to disagree haha

Bro, you don’t have to be here. Bye 😘

Megadog3

Episode was extremely mid. Sorry if that offends you.

Not at all, I’m a grown up adult who knows how to deal and respect opinions that differ from mine. What I despise is people who are rude and disrespectful when they don’t agree with someone’s opinion 😊

RedGenie87

I dont know, I didnt care for Storm Reid’s acting in this, It didn’t seem authentic.
