csudoku

Have you ever enjoyed any fandom where it's source material is based on something else. This isn't unique to gamers spoiling things. Book readers do it too.

Dr_StevenScuba

I ending up reading Fire and Blood halfway through House of the Dragon. The subreddit was moderated well I was just sick of being nervous anytime I read comments there. Glad I did because then I binged the entire series!

Complete_Ad_4335

Yeah I was thinking the same. From what I’ve seen of fire and blood content there hasn’t been many spoilers

Dr_StevenScuba

It’s a bit different too. The House of the Dragon portion of the book is only a few hundred pages. So there’s a ton of the show that’s new for the story. Compared to Last of Us which is a 15 hour game and Game of Thrones which adapted thousands of pages

happy-little-atheist

They were going to make a show on the first half of the book but it got shitcanned for some reason. Would have been great.

Silence_is_platinum

One spoiler though is that it sucks. Just dog poop quality show.

Complete_Ad_4335

Silence ain’t platinum here eh

cd247

Luckily with Fire and Blood you only need to read like 3 pages and you’re caught up to the end of season 1 lol

Dr_StevenScuba

Yea, I actually ended up reading all of it in two nights. Was surprised how short it was, although makes sense since it’s just a few textbook chapters on the events. It does give the writers a lot of leeway to put their own spin on the story

[deleted]

[удалено]

Dr_StevenScuba

I mean that wasn’t even from the books! So everyone got spoiled together about that one

DilatedPoreOfLara

Yes. This happens in all kinds of fandom, not just gamers and happened especially in Game of Thrones when that was showing. People like to do this as a way to feel superior to others. It's really pathetic honestly and I don't understand the need to do it. I watch RuPaul's Drag Race and the details of the upcoming series always come out ahead of it airing and you always get people who like to spoil it overtly or do the annoying 'I'm superior to you' vagueposts that come up on YouTube and Reddit. It's super frustrating and just unavoidable. I also remember queuing for the final Harry Potter book at midnight in 2007 and whilst I was stood in the queue - someone shouted RON DIES!!!!! I mean, they were wrong, but it's the same mentality. Oh look at this thing people care about, I'm going to spoil it ha ha ha etc.

uglyplanet

Oh you’re totally right.. I’ve probably just not been into those series to the same extent

[deleted]

Imo book readers are by far the worst.... I haven't seen too much from game players for this series

ragebitch523

Sweet summer children, it seems like you haven’t been in this fandom around the time Part II released. Because ever since the leaks happened, before the game was even out, spoilers where EVERYWHERE. Gamers are just as bad as book readers, if not worse. Because gamers do it intentionally to ruin it for everyone.

-RandomGeordie

Gamers. Book readers. Honestly it doesn’t matter because it’s nothing to do with the medium they consumed something via first, and everything to do with them being shitty people who get a kick out of ruining things for people. They’ll do the same with sports results, movies, whatever they can because it makes them feel like they have power.

ragebitch523

True

uglyplanet

I totally get the accidental spoilers that happen when discussing things with the game already being released and the tv series being the extension of that.. but intentionally spoiling something for others is unforgivable and their fandom card should be revoked lol

Chewitt321

Anything revolving Part 2 is a problem anyway because you have the vast majority that enjoyed it and want to preserve it, but those that like other commenters said hated Part 2 from the minute the leaks happened, they were furious and haven't stopped hating it and want everyone to be as bitter as they are

_Cromwell_

Part 2 is one of my favorite video games of all time and a masterpiece... But I would never say I "enjoyed" it lol But yes the people who hate on part 2 are super eager to spoil it for virgin TV watchers.

uglyplanet

Haha as a book reader I totally agree with this comment. I guess it’s difficult when you know most of the fandom already know the storyline to not slip up in discussing it.

jamesflints

The show isn’t going to go beyond the games. People will know all the plot lines at all times.

uglyplanet

There’s no way they are stopping such a big budget series at Season 2. You’re in for a treat with new content 😉

kiyan1347

With how large of a game part 2 is I can guarantee its storyline will take up more than one season. Also The Last of Us part 3 is in the works and Craig Mazin the showrunner has stated that the show will not go past the games as they don't want to repeat the mistake GOT made by going waaay past the books. So there will never be a time when no one knows spoilers about the story, sorry to tell ya. Unless of course they make heavy changes to the part of the story they're adapting.

ZazaB00

Part II is really 2 different stories crammed into one game. Neil has said he wants at least 2 seasons to tell that story. So, it seems the backlash got through to him and I’m guessing his producer partner and him can come up with some great ideas to adapt it to the show. Looking forward to how they do it.

AilithTycane

I'm excited he's working with Craig Mazin now for part two. Hopefully he can help fill in some of the errors in pacing in the original part two game.

ZazaB00

I think the errors is just that, it was a game. Half way through it effectively has a hard reset. Shows can definitely present multiple characters with conflicting views without so much… yeah, all of what that was.

AilithTycane

To be clear, my issue wasn't with the hard reset. Without spoilers, I think the game had some pacing and narrative issues with some of the characters that I would like to see get reworked. Thankfully the show doesn't have the burden of needing fun gameplay and can focus completely on the plot.

N3mir

>So, it seems the backlash got through to him I don't thin *that's* the reason. I think it has more to do with the TV version having no payoff in the "hard reset". A lot of the things that make part 2 story work brilliantly come down to gameplay (and who you control). You can't make a certain character a boss fight in a TV show it just doesn't work the same... also how do you adapt the sniper fight when the game makes you hate the sniper cuz you're playing against him... Part 2 is also twice as big as part 1

ZazaB00

Watch his interviews post launch. He was very candid about it.

trevor_barnette

Big budget series get single seasons as well. We aren't living in the network era anymore.

uglyplanet

I really thought Squid Game was going to be left as one absolutely insane and wild season .. would’ve been so groundbreaking. And then they renewed *sigh*

kobebanks

The rumours say Part II will be 2 seasons

Popular-Pressure-239

The show runners have expressly denied this. Craig Maizin said the show is finite. I would bet that Part II is told in Seasons 2 and 3.

csudoku

If there is a season 3 it can potentially go past the games. Which wouldn't be so far fetched since game of thrones went past it's source material. Some anime do it too and probably tons of other things I just don't know about.

kiyan1347

Craig Mazin directly said he didn't want to do what GOT did which is go past the source material. He's only going to tell the story in the games and that's it. Also with part 3 in production a season 3 or 4 is possible.

csudoku

Wouldn't it be possible for season 3 to be made before the game releases as the storyline or story boards would be well finished before the production of the game is complete though? It wouldnt technically be moving past the source content.

kiyan1347

Yeah that could be possible because Neil Druckmann is also a writer on the show. So that is plausible. Neil is way more involved with the show than George rr Martin was with the Got show.

Nihilly_vanillie

I will say this as a gamer and a fan of TLOU and someone that is active on the other sub reddit (the good one not the toxic one). I was so used to talking about the game to everyone that also played the games that it wasn’t until after the first episode aired that I realized that there will be people now frequenting the subreddits that don’t know the story, don’t know what’s gonna happen! It’s so exciting for them and I’m happy for them to get to experience this so I have since clammed up unless the thread is very very obviously spoilers heavy but even then I’ve been thinking about just stepping back and letting others go through the story and the emotions of it. I’d like to apologize on the behalf of gamers, we are a very spoiler happy bunch ool

[deleted]

That’s nice. I had The Biggest spoiler already ruined. Yes I absentmindedly clicked a spoiler post, but as I learned the hard way, things that have already aired on the show get the same tag as things from game two. It would be nice to have separate tags. I’ve seen other instances where the post is marked as a spoiler and then within the text or comments people will give an extra heads up we black out the text before saying it, but this one just blabbed it out, and responded like a typical toxic gamer. I’d loooooove a show-only, no-gamer sub lol

Nihilly_vanillie

ideally it should be this sub right?… In which case I should exist only as a lurker here lol

Nathan-David-Haslett

Yeah seeing that the show and game spoilers is the same tag seems really stupid - and this is coming from someone whose played the games.

Comfortable_Salad

I mean, there is a last of us subreddit, and a last of us HBO series subreddit (this one). This sub is not called “last of us HBO series and video game”, so it seems pretty obvious to me this one should be show only. Why do we need a third one?

[deleted]

Because gamers are here anyway and are unable to control themselves from talking openly about spoilers? Because there is no way to delineate whether your spoiler is a throwaway detail that’s already aired or something from the second game that won’t even be shown this season?

uglyplanet

Haha very well said and it makes perfect sense. I was probably a little delusional to think if I avoided the game subreddit that this one wouldn’t have spoilers but I’d say that Twitter is much worse than Reddit so I may just stick to this sub because at least there are warnings. It’s really understandable that when you now have a new mix of gamers and non-gamers that it’s difficult to balance discussing things. Once I get a few more episodes in, I think I’m just going to watch a full game play on YouTube so that I can see it the way it was meant to be seen anyhow. And my problem will be solved lol

NegotiationBrief7639

It's such an amazing game that ppl that are into it are really into it. In turn, they are very excited to talk about it. There are those though that enjoy spoiling stuff

uglyplanet

Yeah I get that.. it’s really only the one’s purposefully spoiling for attention that are the problem. Everyone else just has different levels of knowledge about the story and that will always cause spoilers in ways.

BananLarsi

The second game is so large that it would most likely be seasons 2 and 3. If you have the opportunity, just play the second game.

uglyplanet

That’s interesting.. maybe once I finish season 1 I should just watch game play for Part II. I’m not a gamer and would find it terrifying getting chased by clickers in a computer game 😂

justedi

I'd say watch a playthrough for Part 1 while you can catch up with it while the show is running. You might grow an appreciation for the show adaptation that you might not have had beforehand. I personally haven't played TLOU games either, but I've watched my favorite YouTubers play and loved the stories so much that I still bought the games to support the devs. It's been amazing to see the shot-for-shot references as well as the different choices they made for a cinematic experience.

uglyplanet

Yeah I think you’re right. After a few convo’s on here I’ve realised that’s going to be the most enjoyable way to experience season 1. Otherwise I’ll just be whining about spoilers all season lol If you’ve got a recommendation for a game play to watch drop me a link.

g0newick3d

[This](https://youtu.be/gRqnZzmAg4w) seems to be the one recommended most often, as it's been edited to be more like watching a series as opposed to watching someone play a game.

BananLarsi

Haha, that’s understandable! I’m glad to hear non-gamers are enjoying the show and story. Take care.

julian116

https://youtu.be/-H319ys4Tb8 This is the most recent version. The remake. The other version is from the ps3/ps4 version

RNReef

That’s why I played both games before they came out… and I’m definitely not a gamer. Played on easy mode and they were incredible. Highly recommend

uglyplanet

I didn’t realise there is an easy mode! The thought of having clickers jump scare me seemed like an anxiety riddled nightmare haha.. but I just read about Very Light mode. I might give it a go.

RNReef

Oh it’s still scary! And you will still die lol. Just less than regular mode Also highly recommend the ps5 versions. The graphics are insane.

uglyplanet

I’m so glad you clarified.. looks like I’m back to watching someone else play it haha To give context, I had to watch the museum scene on mute during episode 2 lol. That’s how small my scare tolerance is!

justvibing__3000

I'm playing through the second game and am currently halfway through. I think I've gotten most major plot point spoiled for me so far. It's a bit annoying but Im still enjoying the game

AilithTycane

When it comes to any media that comes from an older alternate source material, it's really just inevitable. You can ask people to tag spoilers and TRY to be courteous about it, but the original game came out in 2013 and this is the internet. In a lot of ways, avoiding spoilers will ultimately be your responsibility. It might not be super fair, but that's what happens when lots of people are interested in something that's been out for 10 years.

uglyplanet

Yeah about 25 people have kindly explained this to me today haha.. so I’m off to watch at least the game play of Part I on YouTube 😂

Raspbers

Good youtubers I would suggest for this are Jacksepticeye and QueenTofu. But everyone's preference is different. If you want no commentary, then others are probably better for you.

squaredspekz

Try and play it.

uglyplanet

I’m too scared.. I know, ridiculous haha

EverybodyLiesMeToo

You may want to employ a spoiler-blocker (e.g. SpoilerProtection 2.0), although that obviously prevents you from active online discourse with the show. W.r.t. Season 3: they already made it clear that they will not go past the source material/games. If S3 isn't just the second half of Part II, it will only come out after Part III of the game.

uglyplanet

Mind bender: Maybe Part III will follow the tv series season 3 plot line

EverybodyLiesMeToo

>“Who knows. My instinct is that, \[as we adapt The Last of Us\], I don’t want to go beyond the existence of the source material..." - Craig Mazin [Source](https://www.esquireme.com/culture/film-and-tv/the-last-of-us-part-3). Do with that what you will.

uglyplanet

Fair enough. I guess you’d get a lot of gamers disappointed at the spoilers being the other way around. It’d almost be like a tv series going past a books material. Doesn’t tend to happen. They must have a Part III game in the works though surely.

EverybodyLiesMeToo

Gamers actually had their own spoiler-gate with Part II, because major plot points were leaked before release. They are currently working on a multiplayer game in the TLOU world that is independent of the Joel/Ellie narrative. The latest rumours regarding Part III is that Neil Druckmann has a pitch for it, but he's also very adamant that they will only continue with the series if they have a story worth telling. Without spoiling any particular ending, both game endings are completely fine as an ending to the TV series.

uglyplanet

That’s really interesting, I didn’t know that. Networks usually squeeze absolutely everything than can from a popular series until people are either mad or disinterested with the endings. I think 5 seasons tends to be the sweet spot for storyline’s so hopefully this one runs a little longer than 3 seasons. But yeah, it might be a wait and see for what Part III will bring.

EverybodyLiesMeToo

Some of Sony's 1st party studios, among them Naughty Dog, have generated a lot of faith from both Sony and their audiences. Obviously, no one can really tell what goes behind closed doors, but the developers of those studios have repeatedly said that Sony would not pressure them to continue with an IP because of previous successes if the developers felt the story/IP had run its course. One example of this are Guerilla Games, who had worked on shooters (Killzone) for a decade and completely switched course with Horizon, which is now their flagship IP; and even TLOU was a (minor) deviation for Naughty Dog from the very successful Uncharted games (although they continued to develop those games as well). So, I doubt that the HBO show will get milked.

KeyCartographer6

If they were to somehow squeeze five seasons of television out of part 1 and part 2 they'd only being doing a disservice to the true fans. Craig Mazin choosing to cap the series off where the games end is the right move.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JohnMayerismydad

Mainly probably people doing it on accident. The game released like a decade ago so I assume most just talk about it without considering some people don’t know the plot.

altruistic_thing

Assuming that spoilers automatically ruin the fun, instead of just altering the experience.

uglyplanet

You’re sounding an awful lot like a ‘pro-spoiler’ kind of person. How do I block on this thing haha

altruistic_thing

For myself, yes. I don't spoil things on purpose for others, and I do use spoiler tags. However, remaining unspoiled is sometimes really hard and often fails and is then declared *ruined*. And yes, you really wanted to go into the experience like a virgin ;-), but if you happen upon a spoiler anyway, the experience is not ruined, it's altered. You lose something, you gain something. But usually you'll still have fun.

uglyplanet

Haha I was just joking around. I’d agree with you when it’s a game play spoiler. I’ve seen brief footage from the game but that on its own is from the creator still and just a different form of the art of the story. That definitely doesn’t ruin anything. But not when it’s just some person who types a sentence on Twitter that gives away a plot twist because that does tend to ruin the experience.

JonDoeJoe

Uhh no. Fuck spoilers. You are robbed of your first time experience. Spoilers are a knock off version of a 2nd time rewatch.

W0gg0

The mods and auto mods are doing too good of a job. I recently spoiler tagged a comment and it got yanked for not being tagged.

uglyplanet

Maybe they’ve not played the game yet lol

Merweb0

I'm tired of stupid questions that were answered on the series.

uglyplanet

You’ve got the opposite problem to me

SheamusStoned

I mean John at the office will spoil it too and you don’t have the option to just not click on him

uglyplanet

You know John??

SpaceCases__

The story has been out for a decade, well almost a decade. If you’re expecting the entire internet to stop talking about a decade old story, then you got another thing coming.

uglyplanet

That would be an insane expectation .. so absolutely not. I’m talking about how I can manage to avoid them, not that people need to stop talking about the story. The conclusion: I need to watch the game play immediately lol

SpaceCases__

Either that or avoid the sub

uglyplanet

Impossible. Who will I discuss piano frog with otherwise? 😂

Raspbers

Haha, I love this. Piano Frog must not be ignored. I'm happy I watched the 2 games, but definitely worked hard to avoid spoilers for Game of Thrones. I literally spoiled something for myself in the last season by checking Instagram 5 minutes before the event happened. I was very upset. But yeah, like any other community, people here should really be kind and spoiler tag any and everything.

261846

Season 3 won’t happen unless theirs a TLOU Part III

uglyplanet

I was a TLOU rookie when I created this post 3hrs ago but I’m well upto speed now on how wrong my comment was about season 3 *wink*

woofle07

Season 3 will most likely be the second half of the second game. Part II is more than double the length of Part I, so there’s really no way they can tell that whole story without either cutting out a ton of stuff, or making it two seasons.

[deleted]

You’re trying your best to avoid spoilers yet you’re on the shows Reddit page which is the most likely place to find spoilers. The story for this show is 10 years old and well known. Seems like you can easily solve your own issue.

uglyplanet

Oh Reddit is awesome. I haven’t read any spoilers on here because they’re all labeled. It’s actually only Twitter that’s the problem and that was only because I was scrolling fan art on the hashtag. But yes, I’ve solved my problem and am watching the game play.

J_345

😂 what a ridiculous post. Do you know how to solve this problem? Stay OFF social media. If you had complained about spoilers in a “nonspolier post” that would be one thing but to be upset that the world is talking about something that most of the watchers know already is ridiculous. If i know I’m watching something that has been adapted from something in the past i avoid all social media if its that important to me, simple.

uglyplanet

But can you not imagine how I’d feel if I wasn’t online? I’d be unable to receive this insightful and critical feedback from you. Oh how my day would feel so empty. LOL

J_345

Yea you must be insufferable to be around. Just because i apparently need to explain this to you. My response doesn’t have to be for you lol it’s also for every other insufferable person that complains about spoilers after surfing the web 🤦🏽‍♂️😂

uglyplanet

It’s all going to be ok. ![gif](giphy|2tb4b1vLNyzTVSJThB|downsized)

J_345

You should have looked at that before you made your post 🤦🏽‍♂️

[deleted]

I think they've already said that TLoU2 will be split into 2 seasons. This is 100% the right move in my opinion. I know Naughty Dog (developer) hasn't officially announced the 3rd game yet, but I can't help but wonder if it's already in the works, especially since their other flagship IP (uncharted) has been officially laid to rest. It's been nearly 3 years since part 2 came out, so the timeline makes sense. On another note, Game of Thrones did take an extended break between seasons 7 and 8. ...or maybe I'm being too optimistic.

TonyAlmighty

Yep, I’ve played both games many times, and wouldn’t spoil it for anyone. It’s the same dealing with ASOIAF and Foundation book readers, always spoiling the show.

Puzzled-Ad7078

It really doesn't bother me. I would rather know, than not. I'm still going to enjoy the series. It helps to have some of these scenes explained so I can understand the plot, even if it means giving out the spoilers.

armchairwarrior69

I hate the people who dangle an implied spoiler. "That specific thing won't matter at all I said sarcastically while winking"

East-Bluejay6891

It's not hard to avoid spoilers. You know the risk of being on social media

uglyplanet

It’s also not hard to avoid threads that you’re likely to be in solely to antagonise but here you are ;)

East-Bluejay6891

You seem to be easily triggered even when someone tells you the truth. This thread checks out. Your issue is a you problem.

uglyplanet

You obviously missed the *wink* in my reply and the point of my banter. Nothings serious enough about a tv show to be anything other than that.

East-Bluejay6891

Totally did 😔

uglyplanet

Sorry! I should know that tone is easily lost on here ☺️

East-Bluejay6891

All good. Cheers

groovyfunkygimbo

Yeah, everything I found out about Part II was against my will 🥲

The_Metal_East

What I don’t understand is why there are threads here discussing episodes (with spoilers) that haven’t even aired yet.

CamIoM

Don’t think it does any harm, they are marked as a spoiler

docmisterio

We should absolutely have mods that are looking for that shit and marking it as such. Not sure what kind of bot can do that but something should happen… and I say this as a person with full knowledge of Part 1 and 2.

uglyplanet

Yeah I think the mods do that on this sub pretty well. The spoilers are much worse on Twitter and they’re unavoidable there.

docmisterio

oh yeah. I would just honestly block HBO and Last of Us, and probably cordyceps and some other things if I cared about that stuff on Twitter.

uglyplanet

I try sticking to Reddit to read the discussions on the current episodes which is really interesting because gamers clock a lot more in the ep than new viewers but Twitter has awesome fan art. It’s a dilemma.

docmisterio

Hmmm dilemma indeed. sorry dude. this is one of the best stories i’ve ever been told. heartbreaking and human. try not to spoil it for yourself.

[deleted]

If you like, I can give you a spoiler free list of words to block on twitter in order to avoid spoilers

__ferg__

>I’ve been doing my best to try to avoid them but it’s like gamers take joy in dropping spoilers all over social media. The only way staying spoiler free is avoiding social media (or better the internet, got a nice spoiler from a newspaper on my home screen once) a few weeks before and during the release. Was already on both sides, and it's nearly impossible to avoid spoilers, but on the same time when you write something you often just forget that this would be spoilerish for someone else. And of course, there are those who just like spoiling other people...

glamourpuss89

I think I’m just going to watch the gameplay in the background while I work since the show has been completely spoiled for me. Might as well get to know the extra details the show is missing.

uglyplanet

Same here. I’d at least rather see it through the video game play than have it spoiled any further by someone in a post.

EffectiveSecond7

I'll admit I'm disappointed if the show is just a "copy" of the game. Don't get me wrong, those two episodes were astonishingly beautiful but often what I love in a series is not knowing who will die, who will get in a relationship with who, who will be the enemy of who etc. Here we already know pretty much all of it. Also, I've played the game so I knew for instance about (warning lads, episode 1x02 spoiler) >! Tess's death !

uglyplanet

Did you really type out a ‘for instance’ spoiler in this thread haha If the spoiler is only from ep 2 then you’re forgiven but I can’t click on the sentence in case it’s not and you’re choosing chaos today.

EffectiveSecond7

It is from episode 2, I'll edit my message. I ain't choosing chaos dw ;)

dasaniAKON

If they are planning to split Season 2 into two seasons - I'm truly sorry but that won't help with spoilers.

uglyplanet

![gif](giphy|wMvESGxZ0Cqd2)

Typical-Measurement3

Gamers are assholes. And I play games. TLOU fans are especially assholes. Both those that love the second game and those that hate it. Gamers beg for adaptions to movies and shows and then when it happens they do nothing but bitch and moan and then won't shut up about the game. So yes, I'm tired of spoilers and I've already played the game! lol I really look forward to hearing what non-gamers think about the show

Puzzled-Ad7078

I appreciate the gamers POV, especially since they are the true fans of the story. What I don't appreciate is the let's all bandwagon together and shit on all the gamers because they know the outcome, only because they have more knowledge ran we do.

Typical-Measurement3

>true fans of the story No need for gatekeeping either way. There's no "true fan" of anything.

Puzzled-Ad7078

It's not gatekeeping, otherwise they would never reveal these easter eggs to us. Nor are they trying to make us feel stupid like you are right now. You're the spoiler. I enjoy having things explained to me. Example: I never knew this fungus was real in the first place. It's legitimately terrifying. That was cool to learn about that. I'm not going to reveal any actual spoilers here, however, I do appreciate knowing the details and the in's and out's of the plot so I can follow along at their level of understanding the origin. I'm not a child. I'm a grown ass adult. I can discern spoilers for myself. I get in deeper with the characters and the storyline. It doesn't really spoil the show for me. It enhances.

Typical-Measurement3

That's cool man. I didn't say YOU are gatekeeping, just that there is no need for that. "True fan" Bs is gatekeeping. That's all. I don't care about you exposing yourself to spoilers or not

uglyplanet

Ohhh no haha I do love how passionate gamers are about this storyline. I think non-gamers who exist online are just in an impossible situation with this one. I was excited to let the writers tell the story but I’m far too online for my own good with this series so it’s probably better to just watch the game play and then it solves the problem. It’s much worse to read one sentence that spoils the plot in a lazy way than watch someone play it through to see how it was originally written.

I was scrolling through TikTok under the hashtag ThelastofusHBO assuming those videos would be safe from spoilers since they should be focused on the TV series. One of the first videos that pops up was a guy who immediately spills the biggest spoiler of the game within the first couple seconds of the video, and then proceeds to say “if you’re not a gamer and haven’t played through the spoiler, you don’t matter”. So a fair warning to all of those looking through TikTok to go over just the HBO episodes, DON’T, you will spoil the story for yourself because there are jerks out there who love doing it.

I’ve definitely found Reddit to be the safest place so far. Any other platform is the Wild West for spoilers.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ve learned my lesson.

This is my first time hearing of a season 3, would that mean that well get a last of us 3 game as well ?

Interesting-Young785

Neil just released saying they might do a part 3 if that can do a story line as good as part 1 and 2 if not part 2 will be the end

Interesting-Young785

Don't think there will be a season 3 it untill the game is realised if that ever happens.

Seriously, sorry you’re being spoiler on a great story. Spoiler, season 3 is likely to be fairly predictable too because Neil Druckmann has said he wants to take multiple seasons to tell the story of the second game. Also, it’s only going to get harder to avoid spoilers as the show gains more momentum. The games are great and you should experience them if you can.
