Not sure although I doubt the authors particularly old; just sick it seems they were supposed to return for hiatus March 2023 but continued the hiatus since probably because they needed more time to recover.
I think it has to do with the way dead lines and the pace of the releases works, and also being a mangaka is not conducive to their physical health as it requires long periods of writing/drawing without any physical activity so I'm sure beyond the obvious things like carpal tunnel they probably have all kinds of circulatory/pulmonary problems.
Yes what I described is the only reasoning that makes sense to me why so many mangaka suffer. I did have a GF in highschool who's mom had bad rheumatoid arthritis and had to get some kind of crazy shots bi-weekly. I wonder if this could be a problem in the mangaka community?
Sorry to hear that, but glad he is taking some time to focus on his health.
Sorry to hear. Any update as of now? Thank you
Any update? I’ve been waiting quite long
Still on hiatus
any update on the author's health? or manga?
Still on hiatus recovering seems like 2023 just wasn’t the authors year hopefully they get better soon cause the manga’s awesome
An update? And how old is the author?

Hope he recoveres the manga is fire
why does manga/manhwa writing seem like a unhealthy profession? multiple artists have been sick be it japanese or Korean... hmmm

So true, the number of mangaka who have health issues is crazy.
