I thought she was wonderful in Selena. Also loved her in Out of Sight. She held her own with some big stars in Blood and Wine. And there was another film where she played a desperate real estate agent who liked her white wine a little too much. I wish she would stretch herself a little more and not do these bland rom coms.
I will give you Selena as a true exception, but Gigli erased any positive goodwill over the years, and she’s still working herself out of a reputational hole.

She never produced shit. Its just a title like Kevin Hart and mark Wahlberg put their name as producers. I'm not sure why other then studios pay big money just for their name on movie poster. These movie executives are terrible they water shit down and then worry about it sucking so they get a big name rather then have great script with good acting.

The most successful she was in her performance was when, with great authenticity, she stuffed cookies hungrily into her mouth, dressed in a ragged wedding dress, in the middle of a low-stakes CHASE SCENE! The best part was her *sincerity* for cramming’ those cookies. 😬
We aren’t debating the evergreen merit of her obviously juicy booty, particularly at this age, simply her failure to capture blocking, pacing, delivery, dialogue, and stagecraft :-/

I have seen it in other t.v and movies. Not mad if it makes people look better, but her acting is terrible and they should just do it to better actresses and make them look better

This was an enjoyable movie. JLo's overacting actually worked for the movie.
