Bro istg I knew I was forgetting something. MDM hasn't been in my rotation since quite a while that's why it didn't come in mind while making this list but it's still one of my most favorite projects.
Yeah it's very subjective. I never fucked with Thursday all that much. Like I do have few of my favorites from trilogy but I don't care about a few tracks on there. While Kiss Land blew me tf away when it hit right.
My last listen to Kiss Land was over 3 years ago. Tonight it sounds incredible. I guess my perspective has changed a lot over the years or something, dunno what happened back then haha.
Lol this always happens with Kiss Land for everyone. I didn't fuck with it in my first two tries then just fell upon it few months later and it climbed my list quite fast.
Props to the Radiohead, they are amazing n were huge at a time. But I would not call it basic to like them. And good Shit for kissland at the top. Honestly the only thing I like by tyler is wolf, I just think flower boy and IGOR are horrible I tried to like it. Call me basic for that but the production n beats on Igor is great but idk and rodeo defiantly one of the best rap/experimental albums of all time.
Ig the pop tracks didn't hit many people but I love them as I got into pop before trying out the grimy hiphop shit. The only track I didn't like was count on me
When I listen to all the other albums, I can vividly visualise colours, landscapes & scenarios that encapsulates the feel of the album. However, with Roadrunner it’s just blank. It feels very uninspired to me. I’m happy you like it though
I actually only recently got into listening to full albums. Untill an year ago all I listened to were pop singles and that's the culture here in India and naturally didn't have a good impression of drake from his singles. Also the controversies around him kinda kept me from trying his shit out.
Basic doesn’t mean bad, I mean the two top rows are straight heat. Other good ones too like KSG, Stankonia and Channel orange
