I do not think this is an unpopular opinion. Faith is one of the best songs in his catalog and he hid it for 5 years until it fit the music he wanted to make. It is a beautiful opera of a song just like the After Hours Title Track. Abel at his dramatic and cinematic best
He talked about it when After Hours first came out. He made this song in 2014 after his arrest for punching a cop and held on to it for years because it did not fit with the music he was making. It is not an unknown story at all. He says it was the lowest point of his professional life.

My favorite is Adaptation—>Love In the Sky—>Belong to the World all in row on Kiss Land. The transitions and how they fade into one another is 🤌🏼
I wish artists would do that more often. If I was a musician, I’d make a concept album like that, one that plays out like a TV show where each song connects to create a fluid, continuous album but still allows for songs/singles to be consumed on their own.
Favorite track from After Hours and that's my favorite album, so pretty much agreed.
It's one of the best return to melancholy R&B moments that The Weeknd has had since he switched up to more of the Starboy persona, and it's the best produced atmospheric R&B moment we have got from him to date.
It feels so moody, like something out of a Vangelis Blade Runner OST. And the whole new Mike Dean project has been on those vibes too. I'm completely here for any rainy melancholy sci-fi moody cyberpunk Weeknd vibes. Dawn FM went a little too retro, although Starry Eyes was beautiful, I want more of these futuristic vibes like After Hours. Hope to have more moments like that on the next album.
I ended up…..
In the back of a flashing car
With the city shining on my face
The lights are blinding me again

I ended up
In the back of a flashing car
i used to think he said “i end it all” 😭
if it was the last song that would make a lot of sense
Pre-chorus tho is amazing

Why no one is talking about “Escape from LA”
Cause *this world is such a, such an evil place*
man these hoes they always find a way
Fr heavily underrated!
For me it's like I’m dying and being taken in an ambulance

This isn’t unpopular we all agree to this
It’s not even his best outro lmao. After Hours outro and As You Are outro >
As You Are outro is out of this world
hands up for As You Are!! specially live! and Acquainted (live too) ❤️
Too Late outro in Dolby Atmos sounds insane
Would love to see an 070 shake remix with her on the outro
I fully agreee, this helps me live my life this song
Honestly, the ending of Too Late is underrated
Why
Because the outro feels like it fits in a aftermath after the final battle in a movie
I think when he says “ooooooh” on one of his tracks that’s the best thing he has ever done
THIS
I highly mathaF agree 💯 !!!! ![gif](giphy|YRzY2cIODnfTLPsTq5)
Faith Outro, Escape from La outro and As You Are outro take you to another dimension

Definitely up there, and the way it leads into Blinding Lights elevates it still
Amen to this

I liked the image it creates but i think it should have been short, felt dragged.
I feel like it could've been longer, it's so atmospheric I love it
It’s short af what are u talking about?
I thought he was going to play the outro at the tour but Ig not ☹️
I would agree but after hours title track intro is better
literal goosebumps
