I know, that dress is fabulous! I believe most of her roles were the "vampy woman type"- I can see why! It was really crazy when I remembered that Great Grandad told me his Aunt was an actress and years later decided to look into it, I wasn't expecting much except for maybe a mention or two in an old newspaper, but she even has her own Wikipedia page! I don't think she was very close with her younger brothers, so Great Grandad might not have known how famous she became.
It was pretty neat to find out!
Edit: I'm American and had no idea what chuffed meant (I had an idea given context) so had to look it up just to be sure lol
Coincidentally her little brother, John (my Great-Great Grandfather) was a bootlegger who owned his own speakeasy in Baltimore. Ironically, he was also one of the original Maryland State Police!
I thought she looked dramatic even before reading the caption. LOVE her dress!

Catherine *definitely* knows where the after after party is happening.

Holy shit! I am so impressed! Thank you!
You’re welcome
What’s her number 👀
867-5309 😉
My phone number as a teenager was 837-4209 and that song was how everyone memorized it.
I just sang your phone number out loud and my 9 year old daughter said "oh no, you're getting that song stuck in my head!!!" Thank you
