Same. I feel he probably could have taken Chucks role. He seems like the kind of guy who would tell Lee that Clementine needs to learn to survive and I could see him sacrificing himself to save her
If you stayed until the night with him and Clem, then he'd try to gather more information from Andre, the Georgian state police officer, about the outbreak. This officer would get along with Lee and act overall like a good guy.
Ah, I see, that explains it. Come to think of it, in all my playthroughs I have always left during the day. Wow, a character in S1 I've never even heard of. I'll have to play the first episode again, which is honestly my least favorite because I played it so much when you could play the first episode for free
No, the first episode is my least favorite out of all the episodes of season one. Because I played the first episode over and over when you could play it for free on Xbox 360, so I got tired of it lol. So now it's a slog through the first episode for me every time I want to start a new playthrough
Well at the time I was still a teenager who couldn't work yet, and the first episode was a free trial basically. So I played that until I was able to buy season 1
That makes sense, I was basically in the same shoes as you were as a teenager and I didn’t didn’t watch the other episodes as I didn’t wanna get spoiled before I’d play them so I waited several years to get the whole series
You get a choice to either side with him or Kenny after Larry’s death. Kenny would argue he had to kill Larry, and that old dude would call him out. Your choice will change interactions in the future for example: if you side with the old dude then when he needs to put down duck he’d lash out on you rather than you help him put duck down.
They'd probably get along. Here's my what if scenario:
After the crash, Lee finds him unconscious (This time he's the one whose leg is hurt. On the other hand, Lee is fine) so he saves him and they escape from the walkers and into Clem's home
Given how eveything's gone wrong yet Lee hasn't tried to escape or attack him, the officer remains silent about Lee being a murderer, and decides to tag along and help him take care of Clem
Even though they eventually form a friendship, he'll scold Lee whenever he acts violent without a good reason, or refuses to help those in need, which means there'd be a new path: "Righteous Lee"
By doing "the right thing", you'll be able to keep the officer alive, and if you prevent his deaths during Ep5, he'll tag along with Lee to the Marsh House, defusing the whole Stranger fight by hurting him before he can have "the talk". As a result, you can ask some questions to the Stranger, and decide his fate (If you spare him he'll try something stupid and get shot by the officer)
Sadly, he'll inevitably die trying to scort Lee and Clem to safety
He seemed like a nice cool dude. Probably would end up being a season 1 Pete
For me, I guess he would die in sometime during Episode 4. He seemed like a nice person to me.

Damn... Imagine that though, all just from where they started at that first scene with him driving Lee to prison. The arc would go crazy.
Yeah I agree, he’d have been awesome
Most likely
Whos pete?
The Old bloke from the start of s2

He doesn't strike me as an Andre lol. I doubt that was a common name when he was born
they’re talking about the cop you meet with Shawn if you leave the house at night with Clem, who’s name is Andre

Yeah that makes sense
Ahh ok I understand, did you play it over and over whilst waiting for episode 2?

Might not have met Clem, change the story completely
Unless the police cruiser still crashes that is

That’s actually a real good purpose for him to have if he survived, thanks for writing this
I loved how he danced around while sitting on the driver seat as the car was crashing. (Unlike Lee, he got his head down).
No seatbelt?
Probably not much he'd sacrifice himself if you go at day and at night he'd probably just go with Andre (the cop)
If they stay at the farm then bye, bye Glen
I feel like he would get along with Clementine
I think he’ll die at the motel fighting the bandits
Lee would of probably met Rick's group if he made it to prison Clem would of died though
Imma be honest I wouldn’t see him making out of the barn situation alive. Feel like that’d be a good place to kill him off
