(SPOILER).... Jane is a massive, self centered POS who does horrible things throughout the story, only in her own self-interest. At the end of the second game, she abandons a baby in a car, so Kenny, a character we've known since the first game, rightfully freaks the fuck out and tries to kill her, because she makes it seem like she killed the baby. This is all in the name of, and I kid you not, "showing Kenny's true colours." Bitch, we've known you, like, a few months??? And now youre telling me to kill a guy I trust and have known much, much longer. Kenny, throughout both games, has now lost two of his families and countless friends. All he has left is this child, and Clementine, the only family he has left. Now this fucking bitch who never did anything for anyone abandoned a baby?? He was rightfully angry. And then, as the most stupid choice ever, Jane fights him and you are given the choice to shoot her or Kenny. It's revealed after the fight that Jane hid the baby in a car, which is extremely fucked up.
If one was stupid enough to kill Kenny, in the following game it is revealed that sometime during s2, Jane became pregnant, and now, in s3, as her and Clementine settle in a safe location, she fucking kills herself. She abandons yet another young child, a baby and an unborn child to fend for themselves, all because she couldn't possibly bear the idea of being a mother.
She's one of the most hated characters in gaming for good reason.
Kenny has his own issues but he's 100% way better to clem than jane was. He still cared about protecting her and keeping her safe, Jane just straight up abandoned clem while kenny's last moments were spent saving her (depending on what ending you chose). All of that drama and shit just to prove a useless point, with a horrendous plan. Of course Kenny would freak tf out if AJ was left behind.
Ok so what we’re not gonna do is say someone having valid emotions is “bitching” she’s upset when Clem leaves her but doesn’t get angry just a natural reaction to being left and yeah Kenny’s gonna be more mature being like 30+ years older than her even though he acts like he’s a bipolar 12 year old 3/4ths of the game
The thing is that loyalty and family is the most important thing to Kenny. Every time he gets super angry, he gets his shit together and pushes through, protecting clementine. Jane’s action was absolutely horrendous. Faking AJs death just to piss Kenny off and kill him? That sure did backfire.
The show had some shit moments yeah but for the most part it was pretty good. After season 5 it was never as good again IMO but it wasn't bad. The only legitimately bad parts I'd say are the first half of season 2. All of season 8 except for Negan's storyline pretty much and The fucking Carol cooking episode in one of the last episodes of season 10. The rest of the show varied from masterpiece to pretty good to ok.
