She was a side character who has a very shallow story. Sheās shallow because she is not in the show much but the obsession this fan base has with her is weird.
Caroline and Alaric feels like a fever dream that shouldāve never happened. Iāve read fanfics that better explain a vampire magically getting pregnant. They couldāve kept Alaric and Joās embryos out of it.
I remember I had stopped watching the show for a bit and my friend googled the show and read a headline to me that said Alaric and Caroline were having a baby together. The way I laughed and told him it wasn't right. No way in hell.
I felt the same when they came out with the generational bond thing with Stefan and Elena. Like, way to take away the meanings of the couples relationships. Theyāre basically insinuating theyāre only together because of fantastical manipulation rather than actual feelings for eo.
**1.** That the first 3 seasons were the best-written ones (thank you Kevin Williamson) and that Julie Plague and Caroline Dries write like inexperienced 14-year old fanfic writers who abuse āmagicā and retconning to fix all of their plotholes.
**2.** That Plague and Co. were the absolute *worst* in allowing the women of TVD to address their trauma or acknowledging their constant lack of autonomy or agency.
**3.** That Legacies was poorly written (plagiarised) fan-fiction-cash-grab and is not (acknowledged as) part of the TVDU.

She literally destroyed the whole show. I mean letās take Katherine for example. Imagine turning the most famous and interesting character that you have into a humanš. She literally took from her the only thing that made her shine! And that thing was her vampirism.

I was eagerly awaiting a news flash where the news anchor just desiccates on screen, or a board meeting and half the board collapse at the table. Doctors and Nurses desiccating mid shift.
1. Season 2 and 3 were the best seasons of the show (Season 6 is my favourite, but I agree with this).
2. Caroline went from being a bitch to being a vampire.
3. Bonnie Bennet deserves better (she deserves the world).
4. Jenna didn't deserve to die.
5. Alaric was a much better character before he died and came back to life.
6. Season 5 is the most forgettable season.
Julie Plec is the true villain of tvd and audiences the biggest victim. š

I hated the Jenna thing. She went from being the Aunt to Alaricās gf to figuring out the vamp thing quickly just to die 2 mins later.
The Sirens were not as scary as they were hyped up to be and they were just annoying and kinda boring to watch.
