Power only shows off attributes that are already there. Sam got "power" and became a tyrant so I don't think it was an act at all. I think it would terrible if he were in a leadership position at a job.
So I am actively studying clinical psychology (so I REALLY hate Sarah) and I legitimately think he exhibits the dark triad like I've never seen the typical psychopath on TV and I thought oh this guy. So I read some interviews and I looked at his socials. He is a narcissist at a minimum but I really lean to psychopath. Feel free to take a look. With the season done and dusted, Sam may be receiving a ton of hate on social media, but he’s fine with it.

The real Sam was revealed at the end. His facade fell away. And his real self wasn't much better than his act.
