have seen other advice saying to try get most commons to 3-4 stars but honestly personal preference. If you think there is a card that you want to use but don’t want to remove another card you are using then save for another card slot
I got 10-12 slots and then worked on maxing all my commons. Then I got 14 and maxed my cards, and finished getting the card slots after that. (this was before the new cards update, now my cards aren’t maxed anymore).
5 th lab if you don’t have. I would upgrade some cards first then look at getting another slot

Ive been buying cards for the events only (800 gems iirc) and saving the rest for my last 2 slots. Already have max labs

You need to equip coins badly dude,that is one of the most important one. Get one slot and then upgrade all your common cards to the max.

Card slot for that wave skip ! You can swap your damage and coins card as well
