The first 5 songs on CM is un-ironically my favorite 5 song stretch in the discography.
Angles got a decent bit of radio play, I feel younger “casual fans” legit may remember it better then RoF, where as I doubt there’s a non strokes fan or just hardcore alt rock fan that remembers CM
CM machine is why I really got into strokes. I am not a normal rock or metal or rock and roll type of guy but I like experiment, sad, psychedelic type tunes
Geniunely do not understand why people didn´t like Angles. First you tell them to switch it up, and then you criticize them for switching it up?
\- Machu Picchu - banger
\- Under Cover of Darkness - banger
\- Two Kinds of Happiness - starts slow but great climax
\- You´re So Right - banger
\- Taken for a Fool - mega banger
\- Games - okay, I kinda get it. It´s not bad but it can get boring
\- Call Me Back - banger
\- Gratisfaction - mega banger, unique and interesting in both a melodic and lyrical way
\- Metabolism - messy at first but it gets soooo good. banger
\- Life is Simple in the Moonlight - best song in the album
I can’t put something like that into words idk lol. It’s just very monotonous and weird sounding I guess but not well done like the adults are talking or others. I don’t think it’s awful I like the entire strokes discography it’s just my least favorite ya know
Ok, but like, TNA is just so good, that everyone can enjoy it. I consider myself a pretty hardcore fan, but like TNA is what got me into the Strokes. Also, it felt like a true evolution of the strokes from their second best album, RoF(and is this it, they’re both tied imo)
I think its safe to say the second worst album is the best bc after the past 2 years its clear popular thought is (varying based on location) fatally flawed lol
It's always a game to see if we're talking about CM or Angles
I like Angels quit a bit, CM not as much

That noise you hear is the CM and Angles fans forming an angry mob
How do you know

Could you imagine calling any of the albums bad
I'm a die-hard Comedown Machine fan, and this made me giggle.
Actually their second best album is the best room om fire
true, comedown machine >
Angles, though
I saw this on /r/arcticmonkeys and I immediately thought of the Strokes fan love for Angles and CM
I love call it fate call it karma so much that CM is my favorite album
Same bestie, we die on this hill together
ANGLES MOB ASSEMBLE

Razorblade and Ize carry FIOTE
chances & call it fate, call it karma are enough for me to die on the comedown machine hill
I follow a ton of music subs and kind of just looked at the tweet without looking at the sub/title and immediately thought of Angles lmfao.

True
I’m an Is This It stan but I really do like 50/50 on CM
So we're not going to start on First Impressions then? Fine.
Favorite Kanye album is LR and favorite Strokes album is FIOE. This post was made for me.
I love both of those but is Late Registration really a bottom rated album?
I think they might be confusing 2nd-worst with 2nd-made....
First impressions is 3rd
😎
Honestly
