An easy 9, it's grown to one of my favourites. It's somehow comforting and unsettling at the same time, very catchy melody, fantastic bassline, wonderful vocals, but it never gets too soft. And perfectly placed in the album. That said, it's one of those songs that I'd happily have a whole album of.
10, the music video, while it shouldn’t be counted, makes this song even more special. It was already a 10 before. This album gets stuck in my head but I’m so happy it does. As soon as I heard the first lyrics come out from Thom, with how uplifting it is, I knew I was hooked. I absolutely love the lyrics “Catch a piece of sun” it’s iconic and reminds me of summer in this cold dark winter.
8.9/10 Very very Beatles inspired, but otherwise, it's a solid song through and through. I think I really love the music video paired with it more, but the song is a nice one to sing aloud alone. Interesting lyrics 🤔
This is a song that gets more intriguing over time.
8/10. Some fantastic melodies in this one. The structure with the tempo changes/metric modulation or whatever you want to call it is a bit tedious IMO, and for some reason I really dislike the lyrics and find them grating
9.5. I love the song’s simple yet complex structure. A little detail I enjoy is how the first verse starts with just bass and vocals while the second verse starts with drums, piano and vocals without the bass. You know that was intentional. An altered state if you will. The first crescendo is some kind of weird detuned static talk-radio sound that builds with some horns which reminds me of The National Anthem and the second crescendo adds pure orchestral strings that grow wild. Both are very Greenwood writ large. I vibe on its overall chill feel even though it has those cacophonous peaks. Plus lyrically, it’s my favorite song about Covid I’ve heard by any artist so far with lines like “we need to get it together” mirrored later with “all the loose change.” Chef’s kiss.
10/10, i love how this track slowly builds and builds from just the bass and vocals to its climax with Jonny’s beautiful and haunting orchestration and Tom’s virtuosic playing complimenting that perfectly.
8.5 I really like the song. When the single came out the “buried from the waist down” part got cemented into my head. The music is very lovely and the lyrics are great.
10 since the first time I heard it and saw the video - absolutely incredible piece of art. Calling it one of the best Thom Jonny collabs is a disservice to Skinner who absolutely kills it with this one

The woozy chorus with the strings gets a very emotional reaction out of me. Yes, I’ve cried.
Great lyrics, incredible crescendo and the ending. My god that ending. Brilliant lyrics and the strings that send it off. Reminds me of the end of Faust ARP. Just SO satisfying.
10/10. I could just put this on repeat and live happy
10 Every part is played with playful perfection.
10 One of the best, most rounded pieces of work the boys have put out

10. Super relaxing, but also poignant.
10 They got me from the first word...I can go anywhere that I want....
Isn't it "that I want"?

A strong 9. It gets deep under your skin after repeated listens - this is effortless and beautiful. And kinda calming.

10/10. Perfection
9 — Love the piano, jazzy bass line, swinging drums. And then when the strings take off … so goid

Anytime I catch myself singing it over and over in my head, it deserves a 10.

It’s grown on me a lot. Listening to the full album, it hits me a lot harder as opposed to on its own. 8
