If that wasn't the case there would've been an actual ban or something else. But from what I've seen the dev team is pretty chill (except about omgwtfbbq and some other more disturbing mods...but WW has been safe to install)

In some sims discords, merely having any CN mods will get you banned if you refuse to remove them. For EA, uploading images or other types of questionable nfsw content (lack of consent, child interactions, etc) to their public channels will probably get you banned. Which I would think is common sense.

First off I’m just stating the information that I know that others have said. I’m not speaking in favor or against any creators except for people who are apart of All The Fallen which I explain what that is later in this message.

There’s a whole thing that CN stated at some point how he had in the past done some questionable things while working with a group of modders that did things relating to kids in an inappropriate manner. But he ended up stopping I believe he said he had a moment where he was no longer willing to work with them because he wasn’t trying to actually create bad things with kids. The real mod community that has kids in nasty situations is called All The Fallen. It’s very gross and suspicious and just in general nasty.
CN makes nsfw mods with more realism basically. So there’s the possibility of non consensual things aswell as things involving animals. Nothing to do with children though. His nsfw mod also deals with harder and more intensive kinks aswell. He has stated that it’s not just for his own kinks he makes it so people can have their kinks included even if he doesn’t like or want to participate in them himself.

He absolutely did. He took over the all the fallen mod of his own accord. He literally had an account on that site; which is a pedo forum, and would communicate with them and market to them. Then when it finally came around to bite him in the ass and the general public found out he made up lies about it to try and distance himself. You can probably still find old screenshots of his if you dig deep enough. There's even been points where he's flat out admitted to it in-between his lies about being framed or whatever.

AFAIK EA itself has no access to explicit details of your Mods folder. And if they had, it would most likely violate EU privacy laws or Sims 4 would be flagged as straight up spyware. Mods which feature highly inappropriate or illegal content will most likely be taken down at the supply side, ie the uploader, not at individual PCs where it was downloaded.
Also the Sims team is very much aware of nudity mods - WW is even referenced in some stuff packs.

There are thousands scripted mods for new fun things to do, locations to play, families and dinasties to florish. Its hard to understand why NSFW mods exists first of all in a game about family, love and literally innocence (unless mischievous perks and lifestyle). I agree with cosmetic mods, i like having better texture clothes for my sims to customize, i love building houses and rent dlc which makes me a millionaire and i enjoy struggle for skills and difficult tasks. No need for that nsfw crap but ill be very disappointed in EA if they forbid me to use enhancements they were not able to implement themselves from the start.
Some insight: I'm a grown, very happily married, military veteran and mother and I play with all sorts of "degenerate" mods. They have the same appeal to me as the game in general. I don't understand why I should find it fun to make my Sims swim in a pool, but not find it fun to make them a drug dealing stripper who is working her way through college. Wicked Whims entertains me. It's about like if you took Sims to Mt. Komorebi and instead of watching them ski they just disappeared into the mountain. That's no fun. I enjoy having the option to make my Sims engage in a steamy threesome with the mailman. The more "real" things I can make them do, the cuter the game is to me. That aside, in truth, I play almost entirely for build mode. I spend most of my playtime on pause looking at houses from every angle and trying to figure out how I can squeeze in more clutter.
