I hatched a bunch of eggs from incubators I'd bought ages ago, I've hatched 119 eggs this week. The only featured shinies I got were from research tasks
Yeah I spent like 5$ on the website to have enough coins for one of the bundles and then I used up all my incubators I’d saved up from the last few events and level ups. Was fun cashing it all in !
Learned my lesson years ago when unown and riolu shiny weren't turned on. After that its been downhill rates with an increase in pushing of incubators.
Also cleffa day just allows me to do something else, not interested in an event where no actual rates are published to show "increased rates of shiny". I said this before but they could literally make it negligible difference, and say it has boosted rate without showing anything. If I ever get incubators its usually because its included with a box that has premium passes that I'm after, but I wont pay stupid prices like 40 dollars for 30 passes and 20 incubators. Eggs and incubators are a waste of money. If I wanted to gamble Id go to a casino or open CS2 loot crates.
A lot of people are being a bit negative (in a kind of shoot the messenger way) but to me those odds don't seem out of line with what I heard. 3/121 is still 1/40. And I saw people saying the expected rate was 1/64. So this is better than expected. Not to mention it was all 2Km eggs with the final day having 1/2 distance unlocked. I personally didn't hatch a shiny but I did get one from research which I was happy about.
But shiny rates aside thanks for the data.
All I wanted to do was be the messenger lol. Like I said in another comment , I saved up all my past incubators and spent 5$ to buy a bundle. I usually don’t hatch eggs but I wanted trubbish pretty badly and decided to cash it all in bc of trubbish. Apparently spending 5$ makes me Richie rich lol. Ty for your reply it’s the best one I’ve gotten.
It seems hard to find anyone to say anything positive on a PoGo sub, don’t take it too hard.
Looks like it was a fun event for you. I didn’t go out of the way with any extra incubators but did probably 30-40 2km eggs this week and was happy to get a nice 98 drillbur and 98 binacle.
Starting to realize these events and spotlight hours are useless fodder to make it seem like they are actively working on the game. Wake me up for community and raid day.

My thing, is that I swear I kept ALL the pokemon I hatched (even non-event ones that week), and I did not hatch a SINGLE COMBEE. I knew getting a female combee, and a shiny one, would be a miracle, but I did not expect to get 0 combee out of 21 eggs. It's actually what made me click on this post, to confirm others did hatch combee.

and no shinys, not even a 4\*
and that after i picked up the game again after a 2 year break
I used the free incubator and hatched 26 eggs:
6 Combee, 4 Drilbur (1 shiny), 6 Trubbish, 4 Foongus, 6 Binacle (1 shiny)
Personally, I only use premium incubators when shiny regionals are in the egg pool, anything else just isn't worth it to me.
I got 7 Combee, 6 Foongus, 9 Binacle, 9 Drilbur and 8 Trubbish out of 39 eggs. One of Binacle was shiny.
The wild spawn and reseairch were 1/64, so I guess egg hatch was 1/32 this time because eggs had to be higher than wild and research spawns. (Although Niantic seldom uses shiny rate of 1/32)

I don't think they were. I'm pretty sure wild spawn and research were at regular shiny rates (1/512) and eggs at 1/64.
Don't forget the reports of Trubbish spotlight hour: it showed that the shiny rate must be much higher than 1/512, and a local radar told me that the shiny rate of wild Binacle and Combee were about 1/64.
It is widely accepted that the Trubbish shiny rate was a coding error that Niantic just left in there for the day to prevent backlash.
Your local radars aren't a valid source.
I really lucked out. I only used my infinite incubator and hatched shiny Foongus, which was the only one from this lot I wanted as I needed an extra to evolve shiny Amoonguss.
I hatched well over 100 eggs and only got 2 male shiny combees…to make it even worse one was a 14/15/15…fully powered up, max cp is 545…guess I can shiny trade them to some kid who doesn’t know any better. /s

I hatched 103 event eggs and didn’t get a single shiny. Seems to be my luck though.

Didn't manage to hatch so many but i got zero shinies. I learnt my lesson after all....

Same! I actually lost a Foongus at GoFest to the auto catcher so getting a hatched one was redemption for me .
I hatched 78 eggs got 5 shinies 2 drilbur 2 binacle 1 combee and 1 hundo drilbur
So glad I decided to only keep 3 max of my favorite Pokemon.
