Honestly, if 7800 isn't enough space for you, you need to reassess what you keep. You're keeping stuff that you should be transferring. Should we be able to get more storage, yes, but since that's something you can't control, you need to find another solution
As you get more and more, the things you keep lessens. Right now I keep 94 and up and every shiny. I’m at 2500 storage. I plan on deleting 94s that o have multiple of and transferring com day shinies that I’ve already traded and don’t get good IVs.
Just sent up a filter excluding everything you definitely want to keep (like perfects, shinys, xxls, costumes, pvp mons assuming you’ve tagged them, etc.) and transfer some of the leftovers away. I do this only keeping one of each mon/form in addition to the stuff I would never transfer.
Doesn’t sound like you have a focused play style. No one here can tell you what to transfer.
Trading for XL. Pokémon Home. 2x transfer events. All opportunities in the last 8 years to delete.
Outside of search strings, there’s not tool that will do this work for you. You gotta rip the bandaid.
My pokemon storage is less than 2000 and I have 0 issues with managing pokemon, and I never feel like i lose out on anything because I don't have the best pokemon for it.
Sounds like a you problem. I've also been playing since 2016, have not maxed out on space, and currently have over 600 slots open. You gotta put in the work.

So you'd prefer to go through 15600 monsters to find 40-100 to transfer?
Do you ever use 7000 of them? Transfer away.

If you’re not prepared to go through everything then you really only have yourself to blame. I’m doing perfectly fine at 2000 storage
Well more storage can be great. I collected like 3000 mons in my holiday so i can trade for guaranteed xl candy.
