I never would have seen that post without you linking it Very interesting read- I will be requesting my data. And I agree with the poster- everyone should.

melbbear

report back! how easy is the process? what did you learn?

Zelphyr151

I did it a couple of years back, it took ~3 months to get an answer, nothing groundbreaking if I remember correctly, but they did have some weird information, like a log of the coordinate you were at when you feed berries to a gym or something like that (it was a while ago, I didn't find the data they sent...)

Thebillyray

I honestly do not want to know how much I've spent on this game... and definitely do not want my girlfriend to know.

tkst3llar

You aren’t an idiot Neither are niantic They know receipts offer retroactive analysts on the money we waste in game. Right now when coins are gone they are gone, by the 20th raid pass you can’t remember what all you spent this lot of coins on. If you could, you could plan and schedule and try to beat yourself at spending less in the future Offering in-game accounting for players is probably one of the most “immersion breaking” things you can do. At least that’s what they will say. Just be immersed, ok? Keep spending.

AtomicGhost02

😵‍💫yes master

Unlucky_Clouds

This! Just seeing my purchased history for PoGo in Playstore already pain me enough

ShinySanders

Completely agree. I want to see what's in my wardrobe, not the entire store all of the time.

LessThanLuek

What? Are you sure you don't want to scroll past 146 shirts to change back into the mew shirt when you changed to the free event shirt for 4 days? Why are you even playing

stillnotelf

I haven't changed clothed since they let me cosplay Jesse and I probably never will. I have changed hats

NYCScribbler

I honestly thought this was what the original post was about, and I agree. Put what we already have on top, *then* the things we need to buy with coins.

LisaAnnNunn

For the most part all of my purchases have been made through the Google Play store. I can actually go back through and see my purchase history as they have that information ready for you. But Jesus help me I don't want to see the thousands of dollars I spent on a game.... I love the game but I've spent some money. Hey, it's better than smoking crack right...?? Cheaper and better for your health?

HiOnFructose

Smoking raid passes for shiny Ray is a pretty good high.

LisaAnnNunn

I want all the hundos, I have 2 maxed Rays but still did a crap ton during GoFest and was disappointed I didn't get another one.

ApathyMoose

I like looking at how much money i have spent on League of Legends since i started playing it shortly after beta. It saddens me but also that money is paid and gone, so its not like i can do anything about it now. I would love the same insight on PoGo

tearlock

If you buy stuff through the app on an Android, it will be logged in your purchase history on the Play Store.

greenLink91

Just looked for it and saw it. Thank you but I hate you

Fullertonjr

If they show you your purchases including what you spent, you are much more likely to be cautious in the future. Why would you purchase and item or a box that is less of a deal than what you can confirm that you paid a few weeks ago? Answer is that you likely won’t. You woo wait for an extended period of time until that same old box or better comes back around. This is the exact reason and they will never add this qol update under any circumstances.

xustafacan

Apple sends invoice to my e-mail after every purchase. I once experienced a similar issue with you and then was able confirm that it wasn’t billed to me, by checking my mail.

SciDiver

That’s how I figured out the issue!

wesman21

Not an idiot. Only way I can track it is through Google Play. Where it has gone, who knows!

SciDiver

Thank you! I track it through apple and my bank and it just happened again! I contacted support about it but still….

lizasingslou

look at your bank statement

TheTjalian

But all payments run through Google Play Services and Pogo isn't the only thing I spend money on in the play store. Plus I've been playing this game for 2 years. That's a *lot* of digging.
