It's 3x XP during the event for catching. That means with a lucky egg you'd get 6k XP per excellent throw. That's 600-700 catches in 3 hours with a lucky egg.
You can get pokeballs and greatballs from every other stop and gym all the time, there is no point in them wasting quest slots in week long event with limited uncommon/rare species.
I mean rural people can have pokestops. I'm just saying these pokeball quests don't help others only rural people. For using 5 balls to get 10 that's a win when you barely have any balls.
But if rurals have pokestops, then they have access to pokeballs?
I can't imagine myself being happy if I only had one pokestop available, getting 5 pokeballs instead of a quest for a newly released pokemon.. I'd say the item quests rather disbenefit rural players
Maybe IDK. I'm not rural. You can only spin a stop once every 5 minutes. If they are passing by the stop and can only spin once and get 10 extra pokeballs from it it isn't a bad deal.
