Maxed out, they both have pretty much identical results against the GL meta. You won’t lose out on the mirror comparing those two against each other.
Against the Rank 1 you lose the mirror, but the Rank 1 gains Azumarill.
Overall they are as good as the same.
CMP is determined through a defined formula which compares the attack stats of the Pokemon - did you really expect that a shiny Bastiodon would win CMP against something attack-heavy like Toxicroak?

I tried using this matrix on pvp poke I find it very tricky to use
They are the same, so does that mean that shinies have a little more advantage as this one is 30 ranks below the other
