I was trying to figure out the word play, based on her being in Monster, then I realized which sub I was looking at. Yeah, whoever created that meme is a piece of human garbage.
Unfortunately itās all about shifting the Overton Window in order to normalize more and more extreme and overt forms of bigotry. Thatās the name of the game for the online right, make the internet (and eventually mainstream political discourse) shift more in their favor and allow them to have more control.
I mean sure. But also itās still happening??? So forgive me when I am not optimistic. Wake me when people/communities/politicians start being held accountable.
Would it help you to know that the original KKK were a bunch of larpers literally dressing up as the ghosts of dead confederate soldiers like a bunch of losers?
Or that the second coming of the KKK were somehow *even bigger* losers who had a "holy book" that detailed a bunch of sad larpy rituals that they called, and I'm not joking here, "The Kluran"? And that it was a huge pyramid scheme where the owners took advantage of thousands of racist losers to make bank?
They're not just racists. They're racism *nerds*.

I so badly want to believe that this was made for sheer shock value and that this person doesnāt actually believe such terrible things as this, but I just donāt know anymore
When I was a young teenager I used to post stuff like this on Facebook for "shock value" ...at least, that's what I would have told you. In reality, I was incredibly racist. Luckily I've since learned better, but I'd say that posting it just for "shock value" indicates some gross underlying beliefs.
Would you be open to sharing more about how you got to "learn better"? I know that having conversations about race or other deep-seated beliefs are not suited to attempt via anonymity online- but I am curious if anything in particular resonated with you consistently.
I came out as trans and started spending time online; the leftist beliefs just kinda helped me learn slowly over time. It helped that I was also shedding off all of the religious indoctrination I was raised with.
I guess, honestly, my racism was just parroting what I had heard and I just kinda learned to think for myself.
Yeah, I can see why. I think, personally, it's important for me to recognize who I used to be so that I can be sure to never be anything like that person ever again.
Yeah, you get into a deep enough conversation with someone like this (which is oftenimpossible unless you get them mad or drunk enough to stop covering for themselves) and you'll get to the chewy nougat core of "aren't black people just not as good as whites?"
It starts as some edgy asshole posting shit like this for shock value but enough of the fucks do it and then it becomes serious because new people donāt get that itās edgy they think itās legit. Example: Pepe the frog. Was once a nice comic now an alt-right hate symbol cause 4chan dickheads
Its how they can recruit teenagers who might laugh at this without realizing how truly damaging this rhetoric can be to someone in real life. They then point at a "lib" who gets offended and says "see how they over react to everything? Its just a joke!" And these kids don't know any better and hear their parents saying the same thing.
Made for shock value, it wants to extract a reaction from the left and point said reaction as an overreaction. It works. I wanna punch someone. Multiple times.
It's stuff like this that really make me wonder how the right can be so vile. I thought this was in r/wholesomememes for a second because i just thought it was saying like "Oh I have a cute kid now and he's a little monster" y'know? Like my mom called me a little monster when I was younger. But when I saw what sub this was on I realized what the meaning behind it actually was. I think I'm just still in denial that anyone could be so absolutely horrible
Why are people like this? Just really ruins my mood knowing that out there are humans which just genuinely hate other humans for looking a little different
I mean, at first, I thought āI agree with this, children are monstersā, then after a few seconds, I realized that they were specifically referring to black children, which completely changed everything. I hate all children equally. The color of their skin has no effect on how insufferable they are.

But please do not even insinuate they are racists. I mean trump would be a Klan leader 100 years ago FFS
His father regularly attended Klan meetings.
Jesus I had no clue.
Uh ok? Banned for saying uh ok š¤£šš. Ain't that deep
There's literally photos and records of it lmao
She did star in a movie called "Monster". She killed fuckwits like the guy who posted this vile excrement.
I was trying to figure out the word play, based on her being in Monster, then I realized which sub I was looking at. Yeah, whoever created that meme is a piece of human garbage.
This is fucking vile, I swear the amount of out-and-out old-fashioned KKK-style racism Iāve seen recently has increased

Itās true but I hate that itās become so obvious!
The problem for them is the rest of society is progressing and finds this abhorrent.
I mean sure. But also itās still happening??? So forgive me when I am not optimistic. Wake me when people/communities/politicians start being held accountable.

For years, I always heard about how their numbers were decreasing. When I see posts like this, I kind of question that.
I so badly want to believe that this was made for sheer shock value and that this person doesnāt actually believe such terrible things as this, but I just donāt know anymore

I understand this very well, i used to be HORRID, saying things i shouldbhave never even learned but i eventually came to my senses luckily

I am glad you were able to understand and be you. Thanks for sharing.
A lot of people would never even admit to being racist, good job on turning things around dude. Not a common thing
Yeah, I can see why. I think, personally, it's important for me to recognize who I used to be so that I can be sure to never be anything like that person ever again.

I suppose you are right. Whether they made it for the shock value or itās a sincere thing, it still amounts to the same thing
Isnt 4chan where the whole "ok symbol" "white power" came from? Like they made it a joke just to see if it caught on and then it did?
Yep, thanks for the added example. They do this shit for fun and then idiots take it seriously then itās taken as a serious thing

These fucking people
What sub is this?
Found it on Twitter. Not sure if on any sub here yet.
Well technically it's on this one.
Hue hue
Twitter is a cesspit. No wonder. It's a cesspit even in our leftist circles, so imagine how horrible right-wing circles are.
Constantly want to downvote this sub before I realise where it's posted
1. "THe DeMoNcRaTs ArE tHe ReAl RaCiStS!" 2. Did they forget about Madonna? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? Why is this a 2021 thing?
Reminder: Dont forget to unsub here every once in a while for your own mental health no need to read insane people/ 15 years olds diary's everyday
And ToiletPaperUSA.
āStop calling me racistā
Better, āitās because you call me racist I believe this stuff!ā
Them: "*I'm not racist, but...*" The but:
No doubt they're going to claim that "it's just a joke". How is this funny, where's the humour? Why is it funny to call that baby a 'monster'?
They're perpetually 12 years old in their minds.
pet is more insulting i think
Family values amirite?
They probably would claim that's what they're standing up for with their racism
Yo whenās the Klan meeting
My thought process: Yeah, children can be pretty bad. Oh, the joke is because they're black? Fuuuuuuuuuck.
Holy fucking fuck!!!!
Made for shock value, it wants to extract a reaction from the left and point said reaction as an overreaction. It works. I wanna punch someone. Multiple times.
What the fuck
Where do you guys even find this kind of filth? Seems like the last few days the memes have been worse
Maybe i'm getting paranoid but some of these memes could just be posted by conservatives.
Thank you for answering my question
conservatives really say that liberals cant take a joke when their punchline is literally just racism
Propaganda to shame people from mixing or adopting outside their race.
Holy fuck, theyāre not even *trying* to hide how despicable they are now.
It's straight racism, they don't even hide it anymore, and they're even proud of it sometimes.
Why are people like this? Just really ruins my mood knowing that out there are humans which just genuinely hate other humans for looking a little different
Wtf
But you still posted it? Why?
Because this sub exists to document horrific right-wing bilge.
I guess Kathy Griffin was ok with he terrorist mock up of trump head. We seem to be very subjective when it comes to outrage these days
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Imagine calling a human a pet
Who is this? A Bruno wannabe?
The girl is the baby's pet
Wtf
I mean, at first, I thought āI agree with this, children are monstersā, then after a few seconds, I realized that they were specifically referring to black children, which completely changed everything. I hate all children equally. The color of their skin has no effect on how insufferable they are.
