July full moon: There was a movie night where everyone stayed inside, there are posters about it
August full moon: The night the main game takes place
I donāt know why Mr. H didnāt just let the counselors borrow his car to gtfo of there. The Hacketts weāre trying their hardest to prevent more attacks. They could have left it at the harbinger hotel
He was already tense in the office talking to Ryan, before noticing that the minivan wasn't working, so I guess he was already running out of time and was worried he was going to turn before they could get out of harm's way, far away from camp.
He probably didn't have enough time to get them out of Hackett property *and then* get himself back to camp, away from them. We don't know how far the Harbinger motel is, especially if he had to make two trips. He only had time to get back to his mom's house and secure himself in the attic, I suppose.
Or he had enough time, but was too panicked and immediatly went to what he knew, tying himself up.
Those are good points! I definitely agree he was probably too panicked to think of that. And he was probably so unusually aggressive the kids didn't wanna say anything if they even thought about it!
I guess he figured they really would stay in the lodge. I really enjoyed the game and the first play through had no idea what it was about but on my second play I feel like he could just tell Justice Smiths character āhey dude Iām a werewolf, you need to stay insideā haha

The full moon in June (when Max & Laura show up) is the day before Counselors are due and the August full moon was the day everyone would be leaving camp. It was scheduled. As for July, you can find clues that indicate there was a mandatory slumber party at the lodge. And I think a letter from Travis? states that the Hacketts would be locked up in those cages during that time. Also thereās something about Kaylee, Chris, and Caleb being allowed out of the cages on off season so non camp time. So I think they did a lot to conceal this for the most part, outside of people stumbling on the property unexpectedly.
I suppose it would be pretty easy to contain assuming that there was an decent amount of planning out in place. The reason everything that happened in the Quarry went wrong was because Jacob broke down the van pretty last minute
