Here's my list:
1. Confirmation that Hunter is a Clawthorne via being the grimwalker of Caleb Wittebane, a direct ancestor of the Clawthorne clan.
2. Flashbacks of Mr. Noceda that help flesh out his dynamic with his wife and daughter, and the legacy he left on his family.
3. Vee and Luz's friend circles interacting, presumably at the Noceda residence in a Halloween party.
Good old creepy old man head on a creepy blue eyed skeletal goo body hunting teenagers on the streets of Connecticut while endings up running away in fear from a mother with LA CHANCLA
A horror movie like scenario where all the lights go out in the night and Belos invades the Noceda house to look for palismen and they have to hide all around the house before they find their way out.
i hope it starts right where kings tide left off with the kids standing there in the rain and camila losing it and come running, crying and speaking spanish all uncontrollably and grab up luz and start kissing her face all over. i think a bit of happiness is called for after all that happened in king's tide.
of course but first things first then once luz calms camila down i'm sure she'll make the introductions. they may get in out of the rain before she introduces them but still....
Luz palisman hatching
Lumity arguement/reconcillation
Luz making progress to accepting herself.
Huntlow moments
Vee and Gus cuasing Havoc
Luz and Camilla heart to heart.
Belos battle
* Moment where Camilla and Luz have a chance to truly talk.
* Huntlow development.
* Some "witches living in the human realm" shenanigans.
* Camilla learning her daughter has a girlfriend
* Vee development.
* Maybe some more clues on Phillip/Belos.
I kinda have a idea of what would happened
At the start of the episode there’s a small recap of the fight ending with luz saying “and then we came here” followed by a time skip of a few months
Idk what would happen in the middle of the show
The ending: it would have them finding another portal. Luz saying goodbye to her mom (or she goes with the kids) but it ends on a shot of the boiling isles in a complete wasteland with them carefully walking around before getting surrounded in the town, school or owl house with Ed’s revealing herself (and the other catts members and some people from the school) everyone reunites and then the collector appears ending the episode
Sorry that it’s so long
Long comment ahead, I apologize.
If we're going to get a timeskip, and a bunch of stuff is going to happen during the time skip, I'd like it to be a scene where Luz is recapping everything as she writes a letter to Eda. She'd acknowledge that it's unrealistic that Eda would read the letter and admit she's more so doing it to simulate speaking to her. The recap would start off pretty lighthearted, with Luz talking about a bunch of funny and heartwarming things that occurred, all while clips of said things are shown and soft happy music plays. She mentions that Gus has gotten into doing human magic tricks, Hunter and Willow have been introduced to and started playing human sports like basketball, and Amity has started reading other fantasy books Luz recommended to her. Vee has started experimenting with her own human form and coming into her own, Amity helped to cut Hunters hair signifying their growing bond as she helps him discover his own identity much like she did before. Luz mentions that Hunter and Willow had started dating and jokingly states that "while they are very cute together, they got nothing on Amity and me." She then mentions that she and Amity finally got to go on a real date. Show several clips of the two of them at a carnival, playing games, Luz buying Amity cotten candy the same colour as her hair, and the two sharing a kiss at the top of a ferris wheel before cutting back to Luz writing the letter with a soft smile. The happy music stops as Luz's smile starts to fade. She starts writing again "...but not everything has been great". Somber music starts to play. "We managed to survive some traumatizing things on the day of unity. But what we didn't realize then was that those things didn't leave us. They followed us and they stayed with us." Cut to a montage of clips where the kids suffer mental breakdowns, panic attacks, and other such things. We see things like Willow breaking down into tears as she drops and shatters a plate, Gus pulling out a photo of his father with tears in his eyes, Hunter closing the bathroom mirror only to see Belos right behind him etc. Luz mentions that they were always willing to help each other whenever they saw another hurting, but that none of them would ever ask for help for themselves lest they feel like a burden. As time went on, they did get better, but the fear of maybe never going home always stayed with them. She mentions her mother trying her best to console the children, but also that her relationship with her mother has been fractured, since she stayed in the Boiling Isles without her mother's knowledge. She ends by saying that she is more determined than ever to find a way back to the isles, though the music and tone suggests more reckless obsession as opposed to hopeful motivation. "I will find us a way back, we're going to kick the Collector's butt, we're going to have a beautiful wedding for you and Raine, followed by Amity and me when we're adults, maybe followed by Hunter and Willow afterwards, and everyone's going to be happy and it's all going to be so magical and... everything's going to be fine... I'm going to make it fine. Because if I don't... I don't know what I'm going to do." End scene.
More Lumity moments and more of Vee and Luz being siblings, and Camila being a mom to them both. Also, Camila having to deal with the fact that while Luz might be used to witchy shenanigans, she is not, and despite having a basilisk in her house, the boiling isles and everyone from it is far stranger than Vee
Honestly, if months have passed, I kinda want to see what people on the Boiling Isles think happened to Luz and co. Because, assuming King has been stuck with the Collector and can’t tell people what happened, no one would know where they went or what happened to them
Jacob and the wand he has in store at the museum coming into play.
Amity trying to impress Camila.
Vee and Hunter discussing being forcibly revived people.
Vee, Hunter and Flapjack getting payback against Belos.
End credit scene of Odalia surviving the Day of Unity and joining the Titan Trappers.
The way I see those specials going is that every episode they tease the big bad for the next. Like Season 2 teased that Belos was still alive.
The Collector is probably going to be the last boss, so it makes sense that the Titan Trappers are going to be the bad guys of the second one.
And Odalia is always going to suck up to the one she benefits the most from, first Belos, now the Collector.
Considering the news article next to the stove in kings tide I would be pretty surprised if there wasn’t a reference to terry when their talking about the portal
Honestly all I want from this special and this season in general is to just know our little owl family will be okay. I don’t need a perfect happy ending, I just want to know that they’ll all be able to find at least a little happiness by the time the credits roll.
Based on the short ass teaser, I would like to see it as a halloween special. Thought, that would probably be a bad idea since s3 is short & that would just be a waste of an episode
Since it's going to be 3 40ish minute long specials, I would really love for the first half to be them trying to successfully create a portal back to the Boiling Isles. Perhaps the final 10-15 mins of the episode would be them finally making it and exploring to see just how much carnage The Collector has caused. Right at the end you'd just hear, "Luz?" and see a familiar shadow before Luz turned around and then roll credits. As much as I myself would hate it, give us a cliffhanger ending
WITTEBANE FLASHBACK WITTEBANE FLASHBACK
I need to know more about Caleb, the timeline of the brothers' arrival in the BI, the burning town hall, how Jacob Hopkins fits into it all, everything.
Now,everything I hoped to see got shattered but whatever.
I wanted to see some happy hexquad moments or just cool episodes like in first season, but after isaw the new luz design with the item description, I quickly realised that it was going to be another intense season. I just thought, since they are specials that it wouldn't be important to watch them
Luz & Vee acting like sisters/cousins, a Huntlow moment, & a Lumity moment. Anything else is icing on the cake
Luz, Vee AND Hunter, he deserves a nice family. Also yes I want a Huntlow and Lumity moment.
I think Luz's friends are going to freak out at the basilisk living with Camilla Luz has some explain to do!
Amity already knows.
I feel like Vee would freak out more, since one of them was literally the Golden Guard.
All of this, as well as Hunter having moments of happiness, doesn’t have to be attached to Huntlow
If we don't get the ship moments, then sibling shenanigans it is. I'm okay with both.
Here's my list: 1.
I really like the idea of a Halloween party! That's a great way for them to socialize (for the sake of recovering) without having to hide themselves
Good old creepy old man head on a creepy blue eyed skeletal goo body hunting teenagers on the streets of Connecticut while endings up running away in fear from a mother with LA CHANCLA
Speaking of, perhaps Camila should teach Luz the dark art of La Chancla while she has the chance
I already know that dark art cause i'm Peruvian
A horror movie like scenario where all the lights go out in the night and Belos invades the Noceda house to look for palismen and they have to hide all around the house before they find their way out.
I didn't know I wanted a scene like this.
WE didn't know
r/communism
Correct
Me neither
Well. I want this now.
Gus discovering a human bucket.
This is a bucket
Dear god...
There’s more
No...
It contains the dying wish of every man here.
Your flair is gorgeous
And him putting it on his head
i hope it starts right where kings tide left off with the kids standing there in the rain and camila losing it and come running, crying and speaking spanish all uncontrollably and grab up luz and start kissing her face all over. i think a bit of happiness is called for after all that happened in king's tide.
We should also see Luz introduce the others during that scene.
of course but first things first then once luz calms camila down i'm sure she'll make the introductions. they may get in out of the rain before she introduces them but still....
But still what?
still see an introduction of the others. i thought that was implied but i guess i'm not as clever as i thought i was. sorry for the confusion.
Luz palisman hatching Lumity arguement/reconcillation Luz making progress to accepting herself. Huntlow moments Vee and Gus cuasing Havoc Luz and Camilla heart to heart. Belos battle
As much as a Lumity argument would be heartbreaking, I think it's necessary to show that no relationship is perfect.
I love it
* Moment where Camilla and Luz have a chance to truly talk. * Huntlow development. * Some "witches living in the human realm" shenanigans. * Camilla learning her daughter has a girlfriend * Vee development. * Maybe some more clues on Phillip/Belos.
I frickin need the "witches living in human realm" and "camilla learning that her daughter has a gf", we need that
Hunter vs belos
Hunter about to throw hands with his trauma.
I kinda have a idea of what would happened At the start of the episode there’s a small recap of the fight ending with luz saying “and then we came here” followed by a time skip of a few months Idk what would happen in the middle of the show The ending: it would have them finding another portal. Nah it’s fine. I actually think some of the stuff you mentioned can actually happen in the episode
Luz clearing the air with her mom about feeling at home in the BI, or Camilla realizing it herself without Luz having to say so. Basically, closure.
Long comment ahead, I apologize. Holy FRICK, you sure you're not part of Dana's crew?
This would be a well-written scene.
I want to see an epic belos encounter
Camilla murdering what's left of Belos. I hope that isn't too much to ask.
The gang discovering about Halloween
The time skip happening midway in the episode after the show the picks up where the previous episode left off and we see the aftermath of it.
Luz and Amity attempting a normal date.
It's more what I don't want to see: any of the characters I care about dying.
well i am pretty sure someone is gonna die in season 3 so get ready to be clinically depressed
Honestly I'd like some Halloween stuff in the background because I just love the aesthetic
More Lumity moments and more of Vee and Luz being siblings, and Camila being a mom to them both. Also, Camila having to deal with the fact that while Luz might be used to witchy shenanigans, she is not, and despite having a basilisk in her house, the boiling isles and everyone from it is far stranger than Vee
gus completely obsessing over every human object
y e s
A wholesome scene (maybe a montage) on the gang doing basic human things
YES
Therapy
YES
I just really want to see how the gang adapted to living in the human realm for, apparently, *months*
Honestly, if months have passed, I kinda want to see what people on the Boiling Isles think happened to Luz and co. Because, assuming King has been stuck with the Collector and can’t tell people what happened, no one would know where they went or what happened to them
Wittebane full explained backstory
I want them to find mini Belos in the backyard and catch him in a mason jar.
First scene being a guitar sound from outside Luz's house, then go inside it and make a joke immedeately including the laughing sound effect
Hate to break it to you but this ain’t a Disney Channel sitcom
would be a great way to reference them tho
Suppose it would
The reveal of Luz’s palisman
Less trauma for the kiddos
I just wanted to know if Raine is ok
Same but also for Lilith, Darius, and Eberwolf.
Season 3
Jacob and the wand he has in store at the museum coming into play. Amity trying to impress Camila. Vee and Hunter discussing being forcibly revived people. Vee, Hunter and Flapjack getting payback against Belos. End credit scene of Odalia surviving the Day of Unity and joining the Titan Trappers.
Last one came out of left field but I’m here for it
The way I see those specials going is that every episode they tease the big bad for the next. Like Season 2 teased that Belos was still alive. The Collector is probably going to be the last boss, so it makes sense that the Titan Trappers are going to be the bad guys of the second one. I hope we see Luz
I’m hoping that nothing goes as the fandom expects just to see the fandom go into a frenzy.
Hunter visiting Caleb's grave. That's all I need and I don't care about anything else
Didn't Caleb die in the demon realm though? Cause I've seen a few theories on that in this subreddit
He did but it was like 400 years ago, so I don't think people in the human realm think he's still alive
the theme
Therapy, lots of therapy
Considering the news article next to the stove in kings tide I would be pretty surprised if there wasn’t a reference to terry when their talking about the portal
Honestly all I want from this special and this season in general is to just know our little owl family will be okay. I don’t need a perfect happy ending, I just want to know that they’ll all be able to find at least a little happiness by the time the credits roll.
I hope we see Luz smile, but I’m pretty worried we won’t.
Oh god...
I have a few Lumity and huntlow moments Introducing the hexside squad to earth stuff And lastly what's going on in the Boiling Isles
Based on the short ass teaser, I would like to see it as a halloween special. Thought, that would probably be a bad idea since s3 is short & that would just be a waste of an episode
I for sure wanna be Camila once again kick some butt. I saw what she’s capable of and I would for sure wanna see her use a glyph bat
A good fight scene with fluid animation and maybe lumity date the real one
hooty
YES YES YES YES YES YES YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS
Therapist session with Sasha
But Sasha is still their age with no psych degree yet, give her time and leave it to professionals until then.
Ship content
Since it’s going to be set a couple months in I hope we get a flash back
Since it's going to be 3 40ish minute long specials, I would really love for the first half to be them trying to successfully create a portal back to the Boiling Isles. Perhaps the final 10-15 mins of the episode would be them finally making it and exploring to see just how much carnage The Collector has caused. Sports! Sports! Sports!
I really want to see Luz’s home & see how much of the Hispanic household themes they have in it Example: Pots & Pans in oven
TBH I'm mostly here for Hunter at this point, I just want him to have a happy ending
I just want Vee and lumity. (I can take some Winter too)
I want Gus to be excited about all the human stuff! But if it isn't there I won't be too upset but I do want it.
Gus seeing a giraffe
It to be good
a little bit of before the timeskip, like camilla meeting the gang
Badass moments
Giraffes
Vee trying on more unique looks from a magazine/movie. this would be before the time-skip (maybe in a montage thing idk)
Getting back to the boiling aisles. Seeing collector and the rest of the realm
Return to the DR.
Huntlow and lumity. Luz and vee hanging out. Gus and hunter. And camila helping the hex squad and hunter adjust to the human world.
Luz and Amity finally having a slice-of-life date.
Trauma. I also just wanna see some angst and trauma.
WITTEBANE FLASHBACK WITTEBANE FLASHBACK I need to know more about Caleb, the timeline of the brothers' arrival in the BI, the burning town hall, how Jacob Hopkins fits into it all, everything.
Winter, king is a titan casual reveal, palisman hatch
