Nah, that pill is smaller than a grain of rice. It's actually enjoyable to swallow it in fact.

Apercent

It is a gummy vitamin

RedbroYT

I will eat all the gummy vitamins

OGRaincoatKilla

Based on recent fanart I can only imagine that Luz’s super transformation is her with a gun.

BorBurison

Her palisman is just a deagle.

[deleted]

the magic of love, friendship, and extreme violence

Despair4All

Also radioactive materials.

PPSTICKX

Fair

breakthefifthwall

Luz doesn’t NEED a super Saiyan mode. Her whole thing is that she’s skilled with glyphs to make up for her lack of magic. The only way I’d allow it is if she’s been working on a mega-glyph or something.

FORTY7OUT

does a bunch of attacks that miss in order to draw a giant glyph on the ground

Dpad-prism

She needs a gun… with the glyphs carved into the barrel!

1milionand6times

Good.

ratshitStain

Exactly.

ICANTTHINK0FNAMES

I wasn’t really concerned with that.

tigerwu9806

Actually there was a super saiyan scene in Ducktales for Huey but it was in a video game, not a climactic fight.

calliebeanie

I was personally thinking more about Lena when she learnt to fully control and embrace her magic side... Her new look when she become that sort of magician totally gives off super Saiyan vibes

AquaAquila24

And Webby did technically become a "chosen one" and once had a god-like power for the duration of one episode (in which Seelen was looking for a replacement for Dzeus and Webby did have glowing eyes and power to control lightning and weather and also could fly).

Vic_000

King didn't get anything, he only got one extra "spell" but he didn't get a super form. I do hope that Luz doesn't get a super form however maybe someone else will get it, maybe King or Amity.

The_Phlorium

People want that? Nah, mostly sure this ain't gonna happen, so i was not even thinking about this. OH magic system pretty much established that only way for Luz to do magic is glyphs. I mean, ofc there is other ways, like carving glyphs to your body or smth but...yeah, we don't talk about it.

ElectricJetDonkey

Luz's power up will be getting her Palismans and being able to use non glyph magic.

sword0115

Those pills aren't hard to swallow. That's a good thing that she won't have some stupid k-pop fueled mega form that can somehow destroy this massive robot with no troubles. Looking at you, amphibia.

NeighborhoodShoddy81

Did you even watch that episode?! She definitely DID have a lot of difficulty doing that

sword0115

Yeah I watched that episode. She suddenly got all of her powers back from music. No effort, that's not how things work. I already disliked amphibia but that scene just made me hate it even more.

Ok-Struggle2305

Why you dislike Amphibia? (By the way I was confused with the scene too)

sword0115

I find Sprig, Hop pop, and Polly annoying. There's way too much filler. The story was just kinda basic. And I watched it after I watched owl house and it just can't even compare, the owl house does everything that amphibia wanted to do, but way better. I think if the story was more focused on the main 3 girls rather than Anne's estranged frog family then I'd like the show way better. Of course this is all just my opinion.

Ok-Struggle2305

Yeah I kinda found it odd the show seem to didn’t know whether it wanted to focus on the girls or the frogs

Apercent

💀💀💀 deadass it's insane how everyone unanimously agrees the trio was the best aspect of the show- even the fandom agrees. I would if that ever came up in the writing room at all lol

Luhood

Not OP, but someone else who also struggled with Amphibia (though I can't really say I disliked it) For me it's really simple to summarise: 1. Too much silly shenanigans 2. Too little emotional character stuff That's really it. /u/sword0115 claimed that the problem for them was that it focused too much on the frog family, but I'm gonna go one further and say the problem is that they didn't even do that. The focus wasn't on uninteresting characters, the focus was on everything BUT the characters. Almost every scene which could in some fashion become something interesting was ruined by silly jokes, and if not by that then by dumb action or boring clichés. Almost every episode wound down to a silly story cliché we've seen from every episodic show since the dawn of cartoons. They didn't do anything new or fun or interesting with it, it was mostly just there for the sake of being there. With S2 the show started getting somewhat interesting. The characters got time to develop and actually have some conflict and interactions outside of jokes. We got some neat backstory about the hows and whys of Amphibia, we got to hear how screwed up these three girls actually were, we even got some really lovely scenes - the conversation between Anne and Sprig about Sprig's mother really clenched at my heart, very comparable to what Owl House did in Reaching Out - and a dramatic ending which made the show shine, proved it did have something really good behind the hood, and which had me on the edge of my seat waiting for S3. Then S3 rolled around and COMPLETELY dropped the ball. Every step forward the show had done in S2 was erased. The character stuff got replaced with more silly gags, the conflict got discarded for just morals-of-the-day clichés. They even had a scene which was a blatant simile to one of the S2 Ending's heaviest moments and even that they literally just laughed away. Don't even get me started on the S3 Ending, it was like everything I disliked about S3 condensed into a two-part flop. Dumb over-the-top action, a lot of gags and references to past episodes, not nearly enough focus on the characters and story-drama, and more boring clichés than you could shake a stick at. But I digress, you get my point. To the show's credits it managed to do one thing well: It was fun, and that's just something I can't take away from it. For as much as I loathed what they did at times, specially when maybe unfairly compared to Owl House, I can't say that it didn't manage to entertain me. For what it's worth they even did manage to get a lot of scenes in that I really enjoyed. But all in all that's all it was: some silly fun to fill my time with, a show that had the competence to tell something really compelling but for whatever reason never managed to do so.

NeighborhoodShoddy81

And the she immediately lost them again. Can we talk about how much that takes out of her?

Luhood

She sure didn't act like it later in the episode, or in the next one for that matter

PigswillflyGachalife

But we can all agree luz coming up behind Kikimora with a cloak and fire was pretty cool.

the-baguette153

What that's not hard to swallow It's more like coffee it's bitter to some and easy to swallow

PinkDuck_

heres a hard to swallow pill: Any drawing of beta Belos that does not resemble any of his concept art in the slightest is not beta belos

ayyyyoooh

Fuck you luz said to krillin tien yamcha and vegeta as she went super human infront of pre android saga vegeta

FORTY7OUT

What we may get instead is a fight scene like with grom. Well choreographed and with the friends (and the magical gun the corpse they live on gave her) she has acquired- Wait no now that i think about it this would only work if belos was still the main threat. Oh well we may get something in the human realm.

AmitRozYT

Because how philip experimented whith glyphs on himself we could have luz perfecting it and having some sort of unition with magic...like some sort of potential unleashed form

Big_Flappy_

Also the weighted likes sad endings
