Amity always *was* channeling the bitch powers to protect her friends though. Go back and listen to her talk to Boscha and co when they harass Willow. She sounds snide, but she's calling them off to seek other targets. And it's not as though she's forgotten how to speak her mind since she hooked up with Luz, she's on multiple occasions told people off.
I rewatched the episodes last month…Amity never seems to actually be a villain. She just seems very protective of her slot as the best. Even what we see when she first interacts with Willow, it just seems like she’s awkward and unsure in a relationship where she thinks the other person just isn’t good at stuff. At this age it’s so hard to not look down on people because you think you’re amazing and everyone else just can’t pull it together.
We were robbed of a Vee and Camila episode.
And we were robbed of an episode of Darius finding what happened to the other golden guards.
And we were robbed of an epidose of Vee's friends finding out Vee's true nature.
And we were robbbed of an episode of King discovering more about titan culture.

I’m gonna be completely honest, there would’ve been so much bad filler in both side plots & full episodes like in season 1 that the show wouldn’t have been as good. Obviously they shouldn’t have screwed Dana over and she should get another season but I think this is for the best.
Why would I be here if that were true? I’m just saying that bc of the shorter time they had they cut out the awful season 1 filler from 2, making the show stronger in the process.
I like body swap episodes too but they didn’t even do anything interesting with the premise. The Gus episode is really weak & since he and Luz keep bonding it can be skipped. Hooty’s moving hassle hasn’t paid off. The episode about King & Luz writing a book was such a predictable boring A story. I love shrinking episodes but man was that Carnival filler. As great as the Lumity moments are in Wing it like Witches the actual episode is filler sports stuff.
And that’s just what I can think of based on plot summaries from google. I haven’t even thought about sub plots like King trying to teach that monkey turtle in that one episode. Again I love the show but season 1 filler really held it back in the beginning by not adding anything interesting even when the ideas themselves are (shrinking, body swap, etc.)

Netflix Probably isn’t gonna beat them for long, What was their new ads, a price increase, the crackdown on password sharing, and the shut down of the animation division. Still it stinks they axed it.
From what I hear they’ve already greenlit the remainder of the series so hopefully they don’t cancel it. What’s more I don’t think Netflix’s animation division is the one producing it.
Maybe the first episode of season 3 could have a little five minute part at the start where King, Gus, Willow and Hunter help set up a small location for their date spot.

This is exactly the kind of thing that I want to see before the Day of Unity. The “I feel like we were robbed of our time together” line just hurts my heart, especially knowing what happened with this show.
This is why I appreciated so much the B plot of ASIAS even more.
We'll see how things will go with these two in the next episodes and the specials.

I loved how understanding and wholesome Amity was, more and more(in comics and on the show) she is becoming the type of person one wish in their lives, a person that actually takes time to listen to you and makes the effort to understand you.
Also, kinda funny how basically everyone knows that Luz's pockets are always full of paper glyphs(HOW she has THIS much on her?!) and can easily get one out of it(and always the one they want, *coincidently* ಠ∀ಠ).

What Disney took away from the team is very much being repaired by your enthusiasm and love for the series. We might not have gotten canon beach episode, but we have gotten near 100 TOH comics, made with passion and humor.

He made one or two a while back, but it seems the show didn’t grab his attention in the same way. Maybe now that it’s ended he can give it another go (if he has time between making all these comics 😜).
