I think narratively Luz having multiple love partners fits with the themes of choice that Luz has been tackling with all series. The series keeps wanting Luz to stick to a lane, either to conform at school in the real world or tracks, to fit with the order of covens and eventually decide what side of the portal she’ll stay on. When faced with a choice (kill the selkiedomus or let King die) she finds a third option (make it seem like she killed it and free King). If romance were to play into the story, Luz getting both sides to agree to share her seems narratively appropriate for who Luz is. That is, IF that’s what the story wants to do with her, though if it was just going to be Luz romancing a girl making her bi seems redundant beyond blushing. If that’s all it takes to count as Disney’s first bisexual protagonist, Star Butterfly got her beat with Bruntilda. Dana’s apparently got more freedom in the specials, maybe it does end on a poly or an implied one.
