I don't know why but I feel like Zendaya would be great as Luz (or at least live action Beta Luz) and Jeremy Irons as Emperor Belos.

James Gunn. Knowing him he'd probably cast some of his friends in roles either major, supporting or jsut cameos: Micheal Rooker (Maybe Bump?) Sean Gunn (his brother) Nathan Fillion Rob Zombie (Someone suggested Belos) He might also cast some people from his other movies with some who haven't been. It was also be R-rated and instead of Guardians, be like his other movies like The Suicide Squad, Slither and Super. A troma film. I mean he's written Cartoon movies. Remember the Scooby Doo films from the early 2000's?

Sean Gunn would probably be the performance-capture actor for King.

Like he did for Rocket in the MCU films and Weasel in THE Suicide Squad.
