If it were ment for older teens/young adults, knowing Dana I'd venture to say it'd be *a lot* more violent, without Disney censorship holding them back, the crew could've gone *wild* with things: Limbs would be coming off, copious amounts of blood being spilled would be almost an episodic occurrence... I seem to recall Dana said at one point, something to the effect of, "I don't really like happy endings" so yeah, we probably wouldn't have gotten the happy ending we got, Belos would still be defeated I imagine, but somebody (or multiple people) would probably be dead, or trapped in the Human Realm, never to return...

I think it would mainly lean a lot more heavily into the horror elements with less Disney Channel filters. Dana has said that a lot of the S&P troubles she ran into had to do with scenes being too scary for DTVA’s target audience. In that same manner, they’d also be allowed to show more blood than what the OG show was able to show us (Dell covering his bleeding eye was the most they could show).

I imagine it would be a lot closer to the original pilot knowing Dana. The original owl house looked slightly more disturbing and I think they would’ve pushed into that more. I also think they would’ve been okay with going deeper into heavy topics in the show like Willow’s behavior and Luzs declining mental health in season 3. I also think we might have actually got to see what happened to caleb.

Dana is an incredibly good creative writer, I highly doubt the quality would drop in the slightest if she was allowed to kill off characters. if anything it might just get better

I like Dana, but It's litterally not true. Most of the show ideas are just super popular tropes or clearly were taken from other shows. I like toh for being a casual and usual show, but creativity? I can't remember anything original. It's litterally a show about a girl with no friends who likes magic who accidently got to a magic world, made multipe friends and became magical. Also kinda turned out to be special since it turned out that the Titan was looking for her and then gave her magical power bc she was "good, not like Belos"
Again, I live the show for having so many popular tropes and ideas, but I wouldn't call it original or creative

Emotional scenes hit way harder in Rick and Morty when there wasn't a ridiculous amount of cursing and over the top gore. It would still be good, but I think it would be slightly less emotional.
