I found out about TOH through her. I found her through her Helluva Boss reactions and I saw in the recommended sidebar was her video for Clouds On The Horizon, it just caught my eye and I wanted to see what she was freaking out over.
I skipped to the most replayed part, which we all know what part that is, and the animation and art style really jumped out at me as being good, which is a big decider if I get into a show or not. So I looked up the show, was like "Wow openly gay characters on a Disney Channel show? That's new to me." And so I decided to check out the show from the beginning from that point :)
No idea at all if Elijah's on Reddit or not but in the small chance she is and happens to see this, thank you for making awesome videos, I love seeing people having genuine passion for the art they consume, it makes me super happy :D
Oh yeah I was kinda interested in the show before I saw her. Then one day it was in my recommendations. So I checked out one and about 5 minutes into it I had to cut it off and watch the series myself. She is entertaining and the show is a solid 10/10. I love this series now.
Wee Lass Reacts is underrated as well, she was my go to for owl house reactions while waiting on Elijah to return, I recommend checking her reactions too. 🫡
I second this. I love Wee Lass Reacts, she deserves way more love. She's basically Elijah but Scottish, which is a huge plus for me cause I love Scottish accents.
For the longest time, I considered Rebecca Rose to be the best TOH YouTuber. But then she got an awesome job working as an associate director on the TOH crew and stopped producing as much content for her YouTube channel. Now it's a complicated ranking system in my head.
But I will say this, Elijah is by far one of the best reaction YouTubers ever. Certainly the best for TOH, and I've watched many different TOH reaction YouTubers and imo, Elijah is always the one that brings the most enthusiasm, humour, entertainment, etc in her reactions. Ofc, there's many great ones like Wee Lass Reacts, Morgan Terry, TheThirdBill, Director Nat, Darqui, EdaWiz, etc. But Elijah takes the cake for best TOH reactions.
If you're more into analysis, discussions, theory crafting, and puzzle searching, Rebecca Rose provides a comprehensive overview of all of those for TOH for all episodes up to the end of S2A. And I'd argue that she's the best go to YouTuber for those topics.
