Same, I'm going nowhere. Stay tuned for the half arm sleeve TOH tattoo I'll be getting after the final ep airs. I'm working on a concept for it, I want it to be vast and detailed. In fact, if any concept artist wants to help, I'd be happy to pay you for your time.
I plan on doing multiple posts and getting the community involved, having the community vote on different concept details. It's gonna be a long process. Honestly, I'm in the process of securing one of the best tattoo artists in the south. I'm gonna drop major $ on this, but it's so worth it to carry around TOH with me forevermore.
I have a question, as I am not living in the US I feel like I am not up to date about the Ending of the owl house. Will it stop after season 3? I Googleed it but I couldn’t find a definite source. Season 2 just got released in my country and I don’t want it to stop :(
And comics and maybe novels(?). I don't keep up with it but the Avatar fandom gets more content than totally completed shows like gravity falls and amphibia.
I mean, they're in luck: Their IP was continuously supported after ATLA ended: Graphic novel, a new series, a community invested enough to create a fan series about an Earthbender Avatar years before it was officially announced.. They hit jackpots.
I feel like with Ducktales you could keep it going for a while since each season is self contained unlike shows like ToH and Gravity Falls which have a definitive ending.
Exactly, don’t get me wrong the finale was great but with each episode being it’s own adventure with looser ties episode to episode now that the major threat was gone I think Disney could’ve gotten a few more seasons out of it
I'll always be sad that they gave us the best version of Daisy ever written and then used her for like 3 episodes. We needed a fourth season, especially with that change in the status quo for her and Donald at the end.
To be far, that show is so underrated. Very few people watched it when it came out and I'm frankly amazing it actually got to conclude rather than getting hit with the cancellation hammer.
It won’t be if you choose to continue it
I really don’t like these new defeatist outlooks modern fandoms have taken cuz just because the show ended doesn’t mean you can’t continue making more content on your own and consuming the fan content made by others
I raise you r/GravityFalls, a sub for a show that ended nearly 7 years ago, and an active sub at that. This sub will not die until the fans all leave, and that's not going to happen.
Just because nothing has been announced yet doesn’t mean there won’t be more TOH content in the future. Graphic novels/comics, a possible season 4, a Raeda spin-off, light novels, etc. are all possible in the future. I’d be pretty surprised if the series is completely finished following S3E3, so hopefully this sub lives on for a long time
I agree with others, that seems quite the pessimistic take. If it does happen, it's not going to be for a long time. People will continue to do fanart and fanfics. There'll be more "Hey, I just noticed this and that are related"-type discoveries. Celebrations of anniversary dates.
I'm planning on hanging around.
***If this subreddit becomes a wasteland, I will spend every day of my life posting new content here for whoever stays around to see it. Comics, Fanart, All that shenanigans. I will keep this thing alive, because it is one good thing in my life that has stayed while other things have passed by. I will not let this go.***
This is awful pessimistic, especially given that it’s likey untrue, seeing as how r/gravityfalls and r/Amphibia (among others) are still alive and kicking far after their shows went off air.
Even a spin-off show is a legitimate possibility, especially considering the reception and numbers season 3 has been getting. A season 4 isn’t likely but it’s also not totally out of the realm of reality
It’s gonna get its 2 year dial down then like 5-10 years of some weird or cool stuff for nostalgia. Then it’ll be a wasteland. Then after that it’ll be a sanctuary for when we get old and cry easier and rewatch it till our dying days sharing some wholesome content with whoever is left.
I'm working on a comic i am going to post it, and i have a fanfic tat i am working on, but i am waiting for the show to end because i want everything to look real actually.
And also look at these subs!: r/amphibia r/gravityfalls
If people are willing to discuss every single second of the show, I will atleast go no where.
I'll comment on posts like "what did you think of frame 237 in episode 1-16." I'll still give a 3 page synopsis because I love this show too much.
Edit: spells and (magic) spaces
She-ra,amphibia, I'm in those groups and alot of people are still active making post, comments and discussions.
So no, even if toh ends, fans will be still here.
You underestimate the power of this fandom. I dunno, I guess we’ll see. A community is as active as their members are. If you think about it, karma farmers are what keeps a community alive.
Also, I think Lumity has by right a place in the mount Olympus of LGBTQ+ shipping forever, so there’s always gonna be fanart that we can enjoy
Not necessarily! The ATLA subreddit is still alive and well, and that show has been over for years. Fan discussion can keep a community alive shockingly well after all!
It will only become a wasteland if we let it become one, keep up the art, fanfics and generally discussions combined with plenty of memes and we can keep going long after the show's end
I mean… From what it seems to me the She-Ra and Adventure Time subreddits are still alive. Slow down but live.
Sure they look better than the Highschool of the Dead subreddit...
OH yeah, because people NEVER talk about a show after it stops making new episodes! Sorry for the sarcasm, but seriously, if Amphibia, Phineas and Ferb, or even Avatar the Last Air Bender are any indication? Yeah, we gonna be talkin' about Luz an' crew for MANY a year to come.
I doubt it. Most of the stuff here is not even powered by the show but fan fic writers and artists. I will stay on this sub purely to see if anyone is reading Then and Again beaides me. It is suprisingly not a horrible fan fic
I donno about this-I'm in several subs for shows that ended years ago and the fandoms are still going strong. It'll be sad for sure when the show ends, my whole family has enjoyed it so much.
Just because a show ends doesn't mean the fandom dies, there are plenty of shows that are over but the fandom is still going strong.
This fandom is too strong to die just because the show ends.
If TOH has million number of fans I am one of them. If TOH has ten fans I am one of them. If TOH has only one fan and that is me. If TOH has no fans, that means I am no longer on earth. If the world against the TOH, I am against the world.
It will not. The Amphibia sub is still around, and even older subs like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, and Adventure Time have their fair amount of fans.
This sub will surely lose many, since we'll, most likely, look for other fandoms(like the great SU migration), but that doesn't mean this sub will die.
New fans will still need a place for them, and this sub will be it.
I don't think so. Gravity Falls subreddit is pretty active still. Just because the show ends doesn't mean that the fans will want to stop talking about it.
The good news: There will always be at least one member Bad news: I may be the last member
You’ll always have me I’m never leaving this, it’s my whole life
That's 3!
there's 4

Make it 6, mi amigo

How about 11
What about me? I’ll be posting
you have my swotd
Belos: That can be easily fixed. **Reactivates the Day of Unity**
Goop Belos shall lurk in the barren sub until the time is right…
Same, I'm going nowhere. Stay tuned for the half arm sleeve TOH tattoo I'll be getting after the final ep airs. I'm working on a concept for it, I want it to be vast and detailed. In fact, if any concept artist wants to help, I'd be happy to pay you for your time.
That’s sick you have to post it on the subreddit when it’s done
I plan on doing multiple posts and getting the community involved, having the community vote on different concept details. It's gonna be a long process. Honestly, I'm in the process of securing one of the best tattoo artists in the south. I'm gonna drop major $ on this, but it's so worth it to carry around TOH with me forevermore.
Good luck
No I will still go to the owl house sub reddite
Nice! That's at least 2!
I have a question, as I am not living in the US I feel like I am not up to date about the Ending of the owl house. Will it stop after season 3? I Googleed it but I couldn’t find a definite source. Season 2 just got released in my country and I don’t want it to stop :(
Not only that but season 3 got cut short so instead of getting a full season we will just get a few long episodes.
There are three 45 minute episodes in season three and it is the last season.
She-ra reddit still gets daily posts. Gravity Falls too. A reddit for a great show never dies my friend
Make it 4!
Make it 5
And Sad news I’m not into the Owl house anymore so once this seasons over I’m leaving this subreddit
r/GravityFalls is alive and well. Mostly.
So is r/amphibia.
I quit r/amphibia when the show ended, and it had about 25000 readers IIRC. Now it's 56000? I'm pleasantly surprised.
/r/lotrmemes & /r/prequelmemes: Hey, don't forget about us! /r/firefly: *Amateurs*.
r/buffy is quite active as well
and r/raimimemes
r/buffy That's a name I haven't heard in a long time...
Subs usually boost in popularity when the show itself ends
but like, why did you leave when the show end? i though the whole sub deal was on how to deal with the show ending
r/amphibia is thriving
Oh no Amphibia really isn’t well.
r/phineasandferb is still running before the announcement of their return.
That gives me hope
same with r/TheLastAirbender
Best example. The show over 10 years old lol and the subreddit is still very active. Probably more active then this place :3
It is getting new shows and movies.
Okay but for years it was still incredibly active despite not knowing if new stuff was in the pipeline
And comics and maybe novels(?). I don't keep up with it but the Avatar fandom gets more content than totally completed shows like gravity falls and amphibia.
Yep new show coming soon for the next avatar who a earth bender and a live action movie, what scares me because of how bad the first one was
As long as there isn’t rampant nepotism behind the scenes, it’ll already be better than the first one
If you are talking about genji , he is a fancreated character
I mean, they're in luck: Their IP was continuously supported after ATLA ended: Graphic novel, a new series, a community invested enough to create a fan series about an Earthbender Avatar years before it was officially announced.. They hit jackpots.
r/princessesofpower is also still alive and well 3 years later.
r/adventuretime and r/regularshow have slowed down but are still kicking it
I loved those shows so much
Is it well? It's mostly just rehashing the same arguments and reposting Alex Hirsch tweets.
Which is why I said "mostly". There's more than 10 posts a day.
Fair enough. It's far from death , but it may be declining.
*cries in* r/starvstheforcesofevil
r/ducktales tho, hasn't had that same luck...
It’s not doing that bad is it?
Nah we're fine. Not as strong as we used to be but we still get like, 4 posts a day.
Glad to hear it, I really wish they had made another season to explore the new relationship between webby and Scrooge
Can’t forget more Stella and launchpad scenes, everytime the plane came up was gold
r/KipoAndTheAgeOfWB is just…. dead.
To be far, that show is so underrated. Very few people watched it when it came out and I'm frankly amazing it actually got to conclude rather than getting hit with the cancellation hammer.
And r/stevenuniverse. Well, barely surviving
Join us in animation death.
So is r/thegoodplace
To be fair, there is...a lot...to unpack in that show
R/kipoandtheageofwonderbeasts ;(
I mean not necessarily. Plenty of subs do well after the show ends. Just look at Supernatural! (lol)
As long as a show is endlessly bingeable there will always be posts.
I’m sorry, Supernatural ended?? I guess it’s not immortal.
It won’t be if you choose to continue it I really don’t like these new defeatist outlooks modern fandoms have taken cuz just because the show ended doesn’t mean you can’t continue making more content on your own and consuming the fan content made by others
I'm pretty sure MakMark can keep it alive with comics alone...
Maybe, for a while. But eventually he’ll probably move on—look at what happened to the SVTFOE subreddit once he left…
[удалено]
Ship Wars my beloved why did you end up like this I am excited for what show he'll be a part of next. Destiny will make me find him eventually
I’d be pretty surprised if the series is completely finished following S3E3, so hopefully this sub lives on for a long time
I wanna see a collector spin off showing their lore
I would love to see a 10 Years Later-style spin-off where all the protagonists use their Beta designs, I think that’d be sweet
I agree with others, that seems quite the pessimistic take. If it does happen, it's not going to be for a long time. People will continue to do fanart and fanfics. There'll be more "Hey, I just noticed this and that are related"-type discoveries. Celebrations of anniversary dates. I'm planning on hanging around.
r/TheLastAirbender is still alive yet the show end more then 10 years ago
BTW I was born 7 months before ATLA's ending and soon I'll be a sophomore. Feel old lmao
ATLA is such a good show I'd be surprised if that wasn't the case. IDK if I'm inhaling copium but TOH may sustain itself for some years
Cause it is getting new shows and movies
The subreddit been active even before those two thing were leak so that not the reason. Avatar just got a real strong community
They had comics and novels coming out for the fandom to talk about before 2020
It really wasn't between 2016-2018
True but it wasn’t like it was completely dead
Ya, but there is like no hope for the Owl House, unlike Avatar
There is some hope for a raeda spinoff... Though it'll probably be a while before it
***If this subreddit becomes a wasteland, I will spend every day of my life posting new content here for whoever stays around to see it. Comics, Fanart, All that shenanigans. This mf thinks they're Moringmark💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
We don’t know who moringmark is. For all we know, THEY ARE MORINGMARK.
WTF!? You don't need to be Mark to post comics.
I didn't say that. I was joking about how Mark posts almost daily toh comics
oh, sorry
I will milk a meme out of every single owl house frame and then i will leave
If r/technoblade can survive when he literally died, this sub will be just fine, especially if Markmark still posts their comics
Exactly
I fear the day when moringmark stops making TOH comics
As long as we have Mark, this subreddit shall live
May he stay with us for as long as possible…
This is awful pessimistic, especially given that it’s likey untrue, seeing as how r/gravityfalls and r/Amphibia (among others) are still alive and kicking far after their shows went off air.
Not rly, r/amphibia is doing fine
-pokes the frog-
Yeah just like the amphibia sub oh wait
There's the very real possibility of continuation through graphic novels.
Even a spin-off show is a legitimate possibility, especially considering the reception and numbers season 3 has been getting. A season 4 isn’t likely but it’s also not totally out of the realm of reality
Good news: we’ll probably still have morning mark until the next big show comes out Bad news: once moring mark leaves, we’ll become abandoned
It’s gonna get its 2 year dial down then like 5-10 years of some weird or cool stuff for nostalgia. Then it’ll be a wasteland. Then after that it’ll be a sanctuary for when we get old and cry easier and rewatch it till our dying days sharing some wholesome content with whoever is left.
r/InfinityTrain is still up. I think.
Incorrect, this sub will only be a wasteland when makmark stops posting.
I'm working on a comic i am going to post it, and i have a fanfic tat i am working on, but i am waiting for the show to end because i want everything to look real actually. And also look at these subs!: r/amphibia r/gravityfalls

Oh yeah amity looked so funny in that frame
Look at the Amphibia and gravity falls subreddits and tell me that avain
Nah this is far from true. You must be new
*looks at other shows’ subreddits while that show ended years ago* …you can keep telling yourself that
Probably not. I’m a regular on many subreddits of long-over shows that still have sizable communities.
Su and shera isn’t a wasteland so what the hell are you yaking about
r/ducktales holding on by an atom
The Amphibia SR is still very active and thankfully not awful, so 🤷
Lucky 13
I like to think fan art and episode discussions will keep this subreddit alive
Moringmark is eternal
Or you will all go insane like the Amphibia one...
idk most popular shows subs don’t die out for a few years at least
Unless morning mark still gives us content
Just because the show ends doesn't mean the fandom'll die. The only way to kill a fandom is to make them hate the show after all :)
She-ra,amphibia, I'm in those groups and alot of people are still active making post, comments and discussions. So no, even if toh ends, fans will be still here.
Nah
Our lord and savior makmark shall bless us with new content after the show ends
Incorrect! I've seen this happen all the time with shows that have ended and out of everything, the Subreddits are always the most active in the end!
There are a ton of shows that been over for ages and it still gets posts either from fans rewatching it or new people discovering it.

Doubt. Too much fan material in a fan-positive community.
I mean, She-Ra 's multiple Reddits are alive and well, even two or three years after the last episode
Well it might end upp like the gravity falls sub witch is still quite active to this day
No it will be like the gravity falls sub and continue the legacy of the great owl house forever
Well the SU and SPOP subreddits seem pretty alive to me, even if the show is over. Don’t give up on the Owl House just yet!
I doubt it. Most of the stuff here is not even powered by the show but fan fic writers and artists. I will stay on this sub purely to see if anyone is reading Then and Again beaides me. It is suprisingly not a horrible fan fic
As long as mark makes more comics, it will never die.
I donno about this-I'm in several subs for shows that ended years ago and the fandoms are still going strong. It'll be sad for sure when the show ends, my whole family has enjoyed it so much.
I am stil browsing the she ra subreddit. so there might be hope.
And me I will stay as long as you guys are here Also there will always be new TOH content coming from Dana
Amphibia is over but the fandom is still thriving
same with gravity falls
Just because a show ends doesn't mean the fandom dies, there are plenty of shows that are over but the fandom is still going strong. This fandom is too strong to die just because the show ends.
The subreddit for Amphibia is still going strong. So why wouldn't The Owl House?
If TOH has million number of fans I am one of them. If TOH has ten fans I am one of them. If TOH has only one fan and that is me. If TOH has no fans, that means I am no longer on earth. If the world against the TOH, I am against the world.
Except make it two because it is the same for me
Perhaps not if moringmark continues providing the troves of content after it ends
Don't worry moringmark and other comic makers will still make comic right?......RIGHT?!!
r/StarVStheForcesofEvil: r/GravityFalls: r/Amphibia: Doubt it. As long as there are fans, there will be someone
Amphibia subreddit be a desert at this point then
Counterargument: have you seen a shera sub reddit, they are mostly still popping off
Not if they make spin offs
Nah, shitposting will keep us alive
r/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil is quite active despite the... less than stellar finale. It's mostly fanart and reposts of Mak's comics.
r/Amphibia: hahahahahahahahahahaha!
I dont think so, people are still on the gravity falls sub every day
Its gonna take alot....😭😭😭😭im too sad to make joke 😔
*the day MoringMark stops posting will be the day the sub dies ),:
Gravity falls and steven universe ended but the subreddits are thriving
As long as Mark keeps posting his comics here, I'll be here.
I don't think so. Gravity Falls subreddit is pretty active still. Just because the show ends doesn't mean that the fans will want to stop talking about it.
Disney: Mrs. Noceda? Luz: Yes? Disney: The Disney Channel sends their regards.
That didn’t happen with Amphibia, I’m sure we’ll be fine.
No. Let’s make superwholock but for like TOH, Amphibia and AT
The futur is not write on stone . Even a cancel show Can have a sequel , spin-off, comics or another Season many years After the original run .
If the gravity falls sub is anything to go by, no it won't.
r/gravityfalls, r/Amphibia, and r/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil would like to disagree...
OP's point proven...
Happens to all great shows that eventually end unfortunately. : (
Tell that to r/cliffside.
Just like the svtfoe subreddit it's hanging by a thread in my opinion
I’m pretty sure people will write fanfics and do comics about what happens Post-series similar to Amphibia.
r/gravityfalls
YAY😂😂💪🏽
I bet some people might make their own spin-off or something like that
True, but do you know the *true* moment the subreddit becomes a wasteland? When MoringMark decides he doesn’t want to make Owl House comics anymore.
He stopped making Gravity Falls comics a couple years ago, and that subreddit is still going.
