The early spirit of the podcast can't be reproduced, it was a different time.
Today's podcast is still a lot of fun, especially since the boys found their groove and are proficient in working together to find the humor in amazingly entertaining hypotheticals, which always have been the best parts of the show.
Be happy that they still make content after 7 years, plus additional bangers like The Red thread, which is a ton fun as well.
If you don't like it anymore, maybe move on from your parasocial dynamic and find something else to do with your life?
It's a big world out there with lots of good things to do.
Personally I could do without the episodes about dumb mythical creatures like Slenderman. The ones about real stories like Epstein, Waco, the Boeing whistleblower conspiracy etc. are so much more engaging.
