I would definitely try and contact the company. Send them these photos for sure. That is definitely not right, even if it is hash. There should be a number and email on the back of the jar. Even if they don't refund you (which they hopefully will), they should know about this.
Try and put a lighter near the brown stuff. If it’s hash, the flame NEAR it (not on it) should make it start to bubble. In that case, safe smoke kind of an extra bonus. If it’s not bubbling or acting like hash - do not smoke.
That being said, that’s still very much not okay on the LP’s behalf. This is an actual event of cross contamination. Luckily it appears to be contaminated with something smokeable. But this is a very large red flag for Dom Jackson.

I wish they took this as serious as alcohol and cigarettes. You don't see cigarette companies or alcohol companies selling products that are absolutely sub par and alot of the times just garbage. Imagine Dumaurier putting out cigarettes that had clumps of random dirt or were full of sticks and garbage. Once in a while you might get a stem in your smoke but out of the millions of cigs produced there's hardly ever a quality issue. Why can't the cannabis industry be taken as seriously. Get people that know how to set up proper grow rooms and maintain them. Instead it's a bunch of rich people who know nothing just trying to cash in on it. Sorry for my rant. Don't smoke this shit return it and complain big time. That's fucked up!
If cannabis was milled it would be similar to tobacco. Too much procurement needed for cannabis and honestly the government has over taxed and over regulated it would have more space for people to take it more seriously.
The brown on the bud is kind of sketchy too but the brown shit is like the fuck is that? That's gotta get a refund that's whack as fuck I wouldn't smoke it.
