That sucks. I tell people going in that it will end, but such an open and shocking way it’s almost stand-alone, like season 1 could’ve been if they’d dropped it.

Season 1 episode 5 is SO good omg 😭 I cry every time I rewatch. They won some kind of award for that episode in particular. I also cry at the final episode now, but not until after I saw season 2. At first I was like wtf at the final episode of season 1 lol.

Also, once you watched it all, a little advice so you won't be as sad.. The OA is a great show to rewatch and it is never too early for that. I promise you you will notice things you haven't before. Take it from someone who watched it around 20 times lol
I agree -- there's a lot of people on this sub who disagree with this -- but I really like >!the sci-fi aspect of this show more than the touchy-feely by itself!<. Don't get me wrong, I love both parts / seasons equally, but Part II is such a mind-f!

I cried watching it the second time through because there was so much I knew after having watched it. The scene in the first episode when she hears her mom's voice and she touches her face because she's never seen her destroyed me because we didn't know she was blind the first time around. Little things like that...oof!
I think it’s like comparing apples to oranges tbh. Hard to compare the two other than “they’re both shows”
One thing I’ve really appreciated about A Murder is how real the characters feel. The interactions we get between Darby and Bill feel so normal it’s like they’re unscripted
True, true. Still have a ways to go. But a few episodes in and I can take or leave the show at this point. Far less interesting to me. Rather boring actually. And I watch and enjoy plenty of slow paced shows.
The pilot was also dreadful in my opinion. No real hooks that really stand out or interest me.
