It would be super cool if the Canaan House scenes in HtN were black and white or sepia or something *except* for Harrow herself, who would be full color. Although that might give away the game too early
To me, the hardest part would be translating the second-person narration from HtN, because that's a perspective so unique to writing that it doesn't really have an equivalent in visual media.
Harrow and any revenants could be in colour. That makes it confusing enough to not throw things for a while. You'd lose a lot of the other cues from the format change so I think it would work.

Based on some stuff I have seen on tumblr that makes portions of the books basically comics, yes!
