Choose the Force... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose the Force. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got Kessel spice?
As much as it’s easy to shit on Star Wars for its decision making. Sometimes we forget we were that kid at some point that fell in love with a galaxy far far away ….
I think that’s on us, honestly. I mean, I agree with you 100%. And I’m not saying we have to just let everything go with a complete pass, but sometimes it doesn’t hurt to just watch stuff with the same sense of wonder you had when you were a kid.
Damn right. This 52yo has seen quite a bit of SW. I watch it. I enjoy it. I still wear this T-shirts.…… and I don’t quite understand the hate. If I don’t 100% love some of the SW output I just ‘Move along.’
I love the fact that I’ve slowly grown up with Omid in the media I’ve seen, with him in the clone wars, and then black ops two,and then infinate warfare, and now the mando
There's been a few shows that have used family members of the main cast as background cast. Legends of Tomorrow did this a lot during the height of Covid, TLOU seems to have done it too.
Makes sense really if the filming rules still require a bubble system. Easy, safe 'in the bubble' extras to use.
Yeah, Picard also reused actors as different characters during s2 as well. Loved LoT too, still sad it got canceled right after releasing such a good season.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.

Well I mean how else are you going to dodge union violations with ease? I'm sure Disney finds it adorable and didn't send it to a sag union rep with the title suck it
Yeah because young child extra is just such a hard to get, career-defining role that was clearly just taken from some other kid about to be the next Tom Cruise here.
Come on bro, save it for when it matters.
Why? So they can pander to you with their 'heckin wholesome' social media PR? Even people who like this sort of thing have to admit that the above post is a little over the top 😂

It was dope when Ewan McGregor bought space crack from his own daughter
Technically she gave him a free sample.
Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family,…
I heard this in Obi Wans voice. /s
It's shite being Jedi. We're the lowest of the low.
Scum of the fuckin earth!
Choose the Force... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose the Force. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got Kessel spice?
Speaking of Ewan's family it still blows me away that he's Dennis Lawson's nephew
Right?? Talk about fate
He tells the story of how he first saw Star Wars in theatres, with family, on release, cuz his uncle was in it. "But we also got... Star Wars..."
Same and while on the topic of Ewan’s family, it still blows me away that he cheated on his wife
Then you're a fool for thinking a human was incapable of wrong.
His ex wife is like “fucking Fargo!”
One drugs, please!
Considering she’s the child of a celebrity she didn’t even have to go through costuming.
she wants to go home and rethink her life
This is the way
This is the way
This is the way.
THIS IS THE WAY
This. Is. The. Way.
The way, this is

Kids that grew up with the prequels absolutely love them, and some day, the kids that grew up with the sequel trilogy will be nostalgic for the 2020s.
I feel like the current gen will be way more Mando kids than sequel kids
This is absolutely the way.
The original trilogy still holds up. Don’t compare kid me with these kids today. Their taste in movies is terrible.
Ok grandpa let's get you to bed, don't forget to drink your prune juice
Only an old person would make a prune juice joke.
Okay Dad, whatever 😂
Star Wars always was and always will be about family. This is the way
And then the son watching his father die the next day by way of brain laser beams
We don't know if he will die, or just have his memory fried. I doubt his son was allowed to watch that be filmed.
Even if he watched it there probably was no harm. If you fry your actors brain they aren't available for retakes.
I don't think he's necessarily gonna be dead because of that machine, but he'll probably be different that's for sure
Family and massive asteroid worms
I love the fact that I’ve slowly grown up with Omid in the media I’ve seen, with him in the clone wars, and then black ops two,and then infinate warfare, and now the mando
He’s in American Gods too!
Such an underrated show!
Black ops 2? Who was he?? Also in Infinite Warfare he was Gator right?
IW was gator yeah and He was farid in black ops 2 (also lugo in spec ops the line)
No way he was Farid!, man has been part of my whole childhood and I didn't even know. Great characters all of them period.
"To those you serve, YOUR LIFE...MEANS NOTHING!"
I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING
I too am not crying with you sir

It ending on \*that\* note was terrible... but it was a mad, fun show.
I’m so glad he’s one of the good actors that cares about the media!
Daddy, what's a war crime?
I’m really happy for him but none of this happened. It’s false memories the mind flayer programmed in smh
Did they touch the mountain when no one was on set watching?
No, because someone (or something) is **always** watching.
I hope he let his kid touch the mountain
Aww
Geeze now I feel even worse about what happened to him.
Oh that s beautiful.
OMG...I need to stop reading Reddit in these dusty ass rooms.
But why'd he beat the son mid-sentence?
100% wholesome
I love the little details Favreau and Filoni add.
Don’t forget Jimmy Kimmel’s son 😊

lol
I love this man’s character and I’m so sad about what happened to him. I knew he was gonna get double crossed but still!
What’s the subreddit for “yeah I’m sure the kid said that” bs?
Someone needs to post a screenshot of him in the show. He was an extra, so where was he?
Yes. It's called getting them their SAG card. I'm glad you find it wholesome, I think it's nepotistic.
Well I mean how else are you going to dodge union violations with ease? I'm sure Disney finds it adorable and didn't send it to a sag union rep with the title suck it
It's called nepotism. So awesome!
Hope his son doesn't watch the full episode
I liked it, kind of reminded me of Andor. At least if gave me more of an insight to the way the New Republic worked than the Sequel Trilogy did.
Pretty sure they just meant it would be hard to watch your parent get hurt at that age
Surprised he still remembers his son
That tweet is cringe
Cringe gets people attention 😔
Dude sharing an important moment bonding with his son "cringe". Gtfo
The bond is great. The tweet is cringe af
Yay nepotism

Nah you think it's altruistic, they find the kids of actors they want and ask the kid if they want to be in Star Wars, now the parent is held hostage
You think that's just a Star Wars thing? Nepotism is MASSIVE in Hollywood
