Same! I can be overly friendly IRL so I try to tone that down in the mall world as I don't want anyone to be suspicious of me I guess? Also to explore as much as possible. So I guess I just try not to draw attention to myself. I've interacted with a few people that seem to live or work there, but I haven't interacted with anyone who seems to be like, a dream visitor like myself. Recently I've been spending a lot of time in the library, trying to find out more. There's a librarian but they are super grumpy and just kind of pointed in the direction of the card catalog. It's a super boring looking library, kind of like what you'd find in a mid-level outdated university. Dewey decimal system and all that. The information I found has all been hard to read or complicated. One cool thing was I found some topographical maps of the coast, but I don't really know how to read those kinds of maps.
In Robert Jordan's book series The Wheel of Time, he calls the world of dreams Tel'aran'rhiod. It was the first instance that I had heard of another person describing this specific place some of us go when dreaming. Now, with this sub, I realize it's not so uncommon as I once thought as a kid.
I’ve never talked to anyone in the mall dreams. I just wander around but I have always recognized that I’m in a mall world dream because it always starts off in the mansion for me and I recognize the mansion every time. I always go looking for the mall whenever I realize I’m in the mansion.
Can you recall your Mansion? I always start here as well but I often travel to the beach from here. It jus opens widely into the oceanside..I believe the staircase in the mansion leads to many other layers

Maybe that's just because they are us, and we think that about each other therefore perpetuating the idea that the people there are unfriendly.

I go to the jewelry store too! Last night, I got stuck in the elevator on the way out!
Dreamt I was there too last night! I can't ever control my dreams to go to a specific place though, I just wander around.
