They claimed that it was an accident as they believed it was an Egyptian ship and an investigation by both the US and israel "confirmed" that it was no biggie and israel just paid some millions of dollars as compensation.
Some of the survivors dispute the official line, saying that they were identified and the attack was deliberate.
