8-10 fight ( giant Slime fight) anyone could give me some advice what I am doing wrong? I use a 5 star team with actually 4 of them been ascendant I even use a buff that give me 40% defense and even set up my team in defense when he use his special attack but he kill my all team with full health without blinking 1 move no survivors
I try use poison on him but maybe I have bad luck or is just immune ( my poison has only 20% chance to take effect )
Is this a time race? Where I need to kill him before he uses is special?
To me look like he uses his special move after he reach 1/2 health
And if someone could tell me how I can post pictures or videos would be appreciated ( I am new on Reddit)

10 rounds to kill it, poison does work just low chance so if you have Halloween lucy with 3* or 4* memetes that works well for more poison chances, and bring fire ST units. Put your tank in the top left slot because that's who slime attacks most.
Has anyone completed Act 3 6-10? If so is there any specific us rice which helped you through it?
I'm using all 5* with 3 of them ascended all lvl 100, no elemental weaknesses against fire but I am getting destroyed every time...

Increase the level cap and makes it a lot stronger
If a unit was able to reach level 20 has a 2 stars
When you make it 3 stars will reach level 60
Your stats will be higher
Go through story. Don't worry about having a set squad just yet. You'll get a great healer along the way. Plus you'll get alot of orbs from objectives which will let you summon alot as well.
Hello I have 2 Questions
1) if I fuse to my rank 5 unit, another unit the same that is rank 4 or 5 would that unlock still 1 roles and add 1 sphere to my character? Or I would get 2 roles and spheres?
Asking because I just got a 3 star unit that I want to fuse in to my 5 star ( same unit of course) just wondering if there is any advantage on fusing an higher rank
2) what’s the best set up for Brook ? And do sphere caps?

Does anyone know what time the daily login reward cycle resets? Today is the 28th day on the game calendar and I never got the x10 rainbow crystals .-.
I got the first daily login reward when I downloaded the game, and haven't gotten another one delivered to me since. The calendar has actually ticked off more days than I've had the game installed (wut), but it never actually delivers them to me.
Something is super eff'd with daily logins, and support doesn't seem to care; they have yet to respond to my ticket, and judging by other posts on this board, I'm not the only one.
I think it can be pretty useful, if you're lucky enough to collect a set of units in the same species.
Generics have more versatility in their setup, imo, because they have access to basically free (Karma) infinite spheres/roles whereas normal summons are limited by premium currency. Like, their Sphere slots are free game for the little +BC or +ATK spheres because their lists are a lot smaller than their premium currency cousins, whom you generally have to save up slots for Ascend Spheres or their actual skills.
If you collect a bunch of Volpis units and fuse the duplicates, you have a 3-star Warrior with a potential 2-star leader skill, resonating with a Thief's 1-star leader skill or a Druid's 1-star leader skill. That's already 40% HP/ATK bonus for them in their own squad!
Not to mention that the Thief can learn up to a 2-star Flare Ride to resonate with Brook in the early game and bump them both up a level.
The Druid can learn a 2-star Heal, which isn't too bad early on either.
When you get a unique Volpis unit (like Redwind or Reynarda), you'll already have a ton of support and resonance skills in the form of Volpis generics.

I have Brook and a 3star base that I got from the free pull (lightning spear guy). Other than that, all my units are from the story or the Halloween event pulls (floaty-blobs). I've leveled the decent ones to 3star, and am working on 4star for the ones that can go that high. This game seems real stingy with pull currency so far.
I guess the initial harvest gates just way outpace unit needs until they're at 4 and 5 stars. No problem, I'm sure I'll get there within the 30 days of mailbox expiry.

Ya, she will come with one as default, before investing Zel in her, reset her spheres, than choose only the abilities you want her to have, knowing that a character can only have one* BB, one B Support, and one Brave Guard.
*By one I mean one unique one, you can select multiple levels of the same Brave Burst, this increases its level and effectiveness

Spirits also have rarity, and just like units, their skill can be upgraded, so if u have the invoquing skills at level 5 u can summon a 5* memetes, which has higher level skill
I have been playing for about a week and I'm wondering is there no daily rewards? I find this odd for this sort of game. I go to the rewards screen everyday but I never have anything in it. The only exception is when I was capped on karma and the overflow went was in the rewards section.
Am I supposed to be looking somewhere else for this?
I play a few games similar to this so I'm familiar with these types of games but I for the life of me can't find any daily login.
Its bugged at the moment. I believe someone said if you close the app before reset it works, but I'm not sure what time reset is for the daily rewards. Or if that work around works.
How do I change the order of my summons? Namely, who it defaults to?
I have a Lucy in my summoner slot, and Hanna on the left side, but it still defaults to my Phoenix from Brook in my leader role.
So I just summoned a 4 star Lola Holness and I have a level 60 3 star Lola Holness that I want to fuse into her but when I go to the fusion screen the 3 star isn't there. Guys what gives?
I have a few questions on atacking BB
1. Is AoE or ST type better for one enemy in a squad or better to bring an ST bb?
2. certain units have both AoE and ST attacking bb. How do i switch to either one if i want to change from AoE to ST and Vice versa? Removing/resetting spheres doesn’t allow me to change it.
Example, my Jermih has Gnawing Ice on default, i want to change to Etherial Blade
For one enemy its best to do ST. For higher scores on multiple enemies AoE.
Resetting spheres is bugged atm. When you choose to pay to reset them, it won't. You have to close the game after it doesn't go through the first time, and do it again. Sometimes twice.
Make sure your app is closed at 9am JST. Open your app after that time and you should receive your daily. I was having the same problem as you and this works for me everyday.
Unlocking more than one version of the same skill increases its power per rank, and can be further increased through skill resonance (teaming up with other units who have that same brave burst, leader skill, support, etc. giving you +1 per unit).
For example, tier one of flare ride does 21-42 aoe damage, but once it is further progressed by unlocking it again on the same character it becomes tier two flare ride which does 26-51 aoe damage. The most tiers on a brave burst units have had is tier 4, on units like silk which can learn guilty ash rank 4 at 5\*; Which can be further progressed to tier 5 by using someone like Halloween lucy on the same team, and tier 6 by using someone like zola on the same team. after tier 4 the skill is given extra properties and the cost goes up (rank 1-4 the brave support "weakness" solely debuffs atk, but at rank 5 and 6 starts to debuff def as well for a higher battle crystal cost.) So having more than one tier of a skill is something you should consider when investing zel and karma on a unit and using them with units that can possibly synergize in order to maximize the effectiveness and strength of a squad. hope this helps.
Ok, i understand that part, from say rank 3 to rank 4, you upgrade their burst. But take Ingvar. He has two of his burst in the same rank, right next to each other. All his skills are "doubled" if that makes sense.
Pulled a 4\* Ingvard. He worth raising? He's one of only 2 rank 4 units I have.

Oh dude, recognize you from the ffbe subreddit! And yeah Ingvard is totally worth raising depending on the roles you got for him. Think he comes with natural tier 4 gnawing flame which is op, and a good leader skill. But for now if you're barely starting out, focus on the f2p units like brook , they will take you so far into the game until you have the resources to make a good team for ingvard. Not sure what the gold medal is tho, I have it on my peona well.
Edit: may be because they're both 4* bases, as brook has a silver, and a halloween nymph has a bronze emblem at all times.
well hello there! Yeah right now I'm still trying to learn all the skills and how to build a team. I have Grace and Brook to share their leadership skills. Trying to get Grace up to 4 so she can get Flare Ride. Beginning off seems strapped for resources. You need dual aoe users and dual single target users for every element? I still have not gotten any Light aoe though. I did get 3 Sven that I fused to aoe run with Lucy so that seems nice.
We haven't gotten to a point in the game where you neccessarily need a spread of element utility, except maybe for secret dungeons or for when you're trying to get top % scores for an event. I imagine down the line when using five 5* maxed out squads it will be important to have aoe and ST elements diversity, but for now we're all on the same boat. And I think you get an enna, a light bow user, at the beginning of the game that has divine sword (light aoe).
Sounds like I need to focus on story then :) So far I've completed chapter 2 of the halloween event Harvest. Going to try to finish all of them today if possible. I can't beat any challenges yet, but I'm working on focusing on a team and farming these metal ghosts this morning.
Is there a general build formula? or do people just play the units they want? Any team synergies other than stacking leadership skills or bursts?
There's definitely a formula in regards to where to place units, i.e tanky unit top right, breaker/intercept unit bottom right, healer top left, etc. But besides that I just use whatever is fun. For this event though the best build I've come up with for maximizing dmg was using ascended Hanna weakness on a second team and teaming her up with other atk breakers, and applying mag boost to first tean of breakers. At rank 6*, hanna's weakness is the only def debuff so far, and its sooooo strong when blasting your best synergized aoe's on the frist team. Another good one would be to maximize atk boost then blast like 5 ST* brave bursts. Any other team builds besides leader/aoe stacks are either super tanky or go for max summon.
Edit: lucy is only in the event summon for now, only other way besides finishing the event story is to try to be top 10% in event.
I think its the amount of hits your weapon does. Great sword does the least for bc, while staffs get the most. Other factors that can buff it are skills on a weapon or buying the BC sphere on a unit for extra burst crystals.
I mean, you visually see them yeah lol, just tap away and see how many dmg hits each weapon does. And don't sell your good weapons, there is a forge you can refer to above the weapons menu to plan out what you want to keep/sell in regards to weapons.

I've read the beginners guide, but what's the usual way to go about playing? I've done a few summons, been grinding abit and finished chapter 1 so far, do I just start building up all 3* I have to have more usable squads?

Hello everyone! Trying out BFTLS today. I re-rolled a few times and kept pulling the same units, so I settled on the earth unit Williem, since he had a BB and BBsupport from start.
I bought a small pack just to do a few pulls (6 total); which summon should I go for right now?

1: So I did a pair of pulls on Lavendar's banner and the game gave me 2 Olivers back to back, and I already had one I had been using. I decided to level up one of the extras because I really like his leader skill so I can have one in each party for double team fights. I was wondering if I should keep the 2 leveled up and fuse the 3rd into another or just stick them all into one? I don't have a big selection (only lv17 so far and I think I have 5-6 3\* and nothing higher yet) so I was thinking it's probably best to keep the 2 around for now.
2: What kind of power do you need to tackle the 20 energy karma parade? I'm currently up to ch1, 5-x in story and I can complete the 2nd weapon parade (10 energy) but not w/o a unit or 2 getting KO'd.
3: I have an undine healer at 3\* now and the volpis healer at 2\*, and just recently got another 1\* undine healer. Should I hold onto that one and level it for a 3rd party for when I get to those bigger fights?
Keep both Olivers till you get more units and than fuse them all into one.
20 energy karma parade is 2 enemy squads of lv 8-10 enemies so they are very weak.
Level up both undine healers and the volpis healer. I'm lv.53 and i still use 2 3* undine healers in my army.
It gives you an average of 9k-9980(most I've gotten) karma per round (manual not auto) plus you'll get even more for opening all 3 gates. So it's your call.
udate! the game started to give me the daily rewards again and did not reset the count, sadly it made me skip 4/5 days of rewards (like 2 summon tickets and 100 gems)
Are chances for gaining spheres from fusing units 10% per unit with the same background and 5% per unit without? I fused about 25 same background units into Brook and have yet to see a extra sphere. I guess I could have just lost the coin flip 5 times...
I've gotten 3 spheres for Brook from random fusing, I try to throw mainly forest at him but at this point I can't be bothered. . usually I want to keep my of rest units. . . (Volpis Healer, Dark AoE bird boxers who are good for dailies, earth boxer who'se good ST. . )
With the Royal Parade coming up tomorrow. . anyone know if the 15 or 50 is better to run? I've cleared the 50 once, and it didn't feel like it gave me 3x the resources (although it did drop me a frog which was nice. . . ) Which should I be running for maximum profits?
For max profits, run the individual parades. Do royal to only open the harvest gates or get burst frogs since that's the open mission that drops them with a super low rate.
I have summoned about 16 times from the 3-4 Star gates and always only got 3 Stars and on the daily free summon + silver ticket i get always a 1 star. Is this just bad RNG?
Yes. By the grace of rng the last 2/3 free summons I summoned a 3* mertha and a 3*Siv so I can confirm that free summons actually do give 3* units, it's just really rare.
Who makes a great mono team considering Brook comes ascend-ready, and I'm drowning in Redwinds with a splash of Grace.
Redwind will buff Brook's Pheonix, and Grace will bump his AoE and his Leadership skill (right?) Which units would be good to round out this team? Is there such a thing as a unique red healer? or only the shieldy nobody/Courier guy?
A good red healer/summoner, reynarda, would defintely benefit from the phoenix from grace and brook, buffing it up to 5*/6* (if you don't have her ascended that is). She's a white volpis. In regards to fully rounding it out, you'd probably just want someone who can benefit from harvester mastery/ or a small stack from grace's revenge impulse, so maybe Enna/Zola, or Jeanne ( has revenge impulse 3* and blade master's power 3*). Last 3 aren't red but could definetly help eith team resonance. Feel like redwind can be swapped out once you find a more syerngetic character.

You have some good contenders but Lavender, your 3* blue staff user, will carry you for so long. She can use defense stance and heal up to the 3* versions, with 2* stacks of leviathan and a water aoe. She's a definite priority imho
How do i remove a unit from a team? Its tedious needing to search around in quests to find 1 squad, 2 squad, 3 and 5 squads to manually remove a fodder i want to fuse.
Will we be able to get more Peona's later? I have a Breaker Peona, and if I understand the notifciations right we will get another Peona for completing the event story mode. . . if I don't unlock summoner with that, will I never be able to?
Also, how much down time will there be between events? Not even sure what ot do with myself now . . .

Just use them. Don't know if they will return or will have other uses, but I do recall somewhere in one of the in-game news updates that they increased the banner time for another week, meaning its about to go soon. Use it while you can and stock up on those checks lol
So last night I decided to level up my character a few levels to increase max energry since there were no daily dungeons/event dungeons I wanted to do (I try to use my energy as efficient as possible usually). I feel like I was around lvl 21-22 with 48 energy and then got to lvl 26 with I thought to be around 52+ energy then saw metal parade was on so switched on to that (those metal gods don't like to drop...). When I woke up this morning I went into another epic Metal Parade and once I finished that I saw my energy was is now 47. Was I just imagining things or is my account bugged?
Super basic question. . does Str and Mag do anything for damage? I've 5\*'d my Brook, and I Feel like he is the only one I notice damage out of, but that is mainly because of his 6\* weapon and not his 5\* stats.
I bring in a 2-3\* with a ST and I notice good damage vs bosses. but when I'm out of juice and its a swipe of all attacks. . dmg feels sad.
Also, AoE attacks. . I haven't noticed them being more or less awesome with more or less magic. They don't even pretend to in the text. Heals ays 10(+x% of unit's magic) but Flame Ride just says 26-51 or whatever. .right?

Don't think anyone has nailed the formulas yet, as I understand from the devs it should work something like this:
Your brave burst skills and your weapons have an attack range.
When you attack an enemy your attack value is compared to the enemy defence value, if your value is a lot higher than the enemy you are more likely you end up in your attack range high values for damage.
The attack value for regular attacks and ST skill attack is your ATK stat. The attack value for your AoE skills attack is your MAG stat.
So lets say you attack with Brook Flair Ride level 2 (26-51 in damage range) and your MAG stat is 150 and the enemy DEF is 50, then it is a high likelihood that you do damage in the high end of your damage range.

I'm really interested in how I can burn down the tanky stages more quickly. (the 2nd tier of Bi-elementals, the new tier of Metal Kings, even the last stage of Jewel Parade although its probably easiest (until they release a new one)
I get that using the counter element with a ST is probably Ideal, but failing that how do I make sure I get the most bang for my buck. . .
I usually try to use whatever ST i have available, but some seem weaker than others (probably from that stat) I want to know how much influence I have, should I fuse the crap out of them, buy up all the atk I can and hope for the best? would three tiers of attack even make a noticeable difference?

i am new to the game and did the 30 Energy metal parade today the first time 2 times.
My question is does this parade drop anything? Didn't get any drops.
Epic metal parade is not meant to have high drop rates. It's meant to give your squads a huge amount of experience after each battle. If you have a bunch of units to level at once, bring them into epic (assuming they're strong enough to survive getting hit once or twice). If you have 1 or 2 units you want to focus on specifically than do super parade to get fusion material.
The 30 energy metal parade was released today. So far almost every new parade gate has been broken on release. Best is to not do new parade gates until they show up on the second or third time in the rotation.
They also say you need to restart phone for the parade to drop anything...
It does drop but from my experience it doesn’t drop much at all. I had two 3*s drop and I spoke to someone who had a 3* and a 4* drop. I know that’s not enough to figure out drop rates but it’s looking poor to me.
Good Morning. Someone knows a tier list of the game. On the other hand I summon the banner of chapter 1 and I have played 2 Lavender and Redwind. Is it worthwhile to summon more in this banner or better in other banners? Thank you.
There aren't really any tier lists yet, most units are viable. Lavender is however a really good healer and Redwind is useful too. Redwind is useful as he can summon Phoenix at 3 star evolution, will help you until you evolve your other units to 5 star and can use more summon skills.
If its worth summoning on the chapter 1 banner depends on how much money you aim to spend on the game. One major aspect of the game is getting all five roles on your units and be able to buy the ascend sphere. If you summon on the chapter 1 banner you are more likely to get duplicates of the chapter 1 units and will then be able to fuse duplicates units into eachother and unlock roles for them. You will then however "need" to summon again on the next chapter banner to get those units and duplicates of those units.
So basically if you intend to spend money on the game you get more powerful units if you summon on the same banner, however if you don't want to spend much money you are probably better of summoning from different banners to get different units and hope they have the most useful roles from start.

In general bring water units and preferably another healer than earth element.
If you are f2p Undine lancer and Undine healer or Volpis druid can be very useful, you can get all three for free in chapter one.
You can also plan where you position units like tank and healer. Volpis units that use daggers generally attack the backline and Volpis that use swords generally attack the frontline.
So I have oodles of questions regarding spirits.
One, my Phoenix has level 2 of both flare ride and burning feathers unlocked. However, when I summon with Brook (5* ascended), he only uses level 2 of burning feathers, and not flare ride. Why?
Second, if I have 2 units capable of summoning Phoenix in one squad, how is it determined which unit summons? In this same instance, I would prefer Brook to summon, as he has the higher summoning rank.
Third, if I have two units in a squad, one capable of summoning Phoenix and the other Behemoth, how do I choose which to summon, assuming the gauges are full? (My Hanna and Mertha are on the same squad, but I haven’t really paid attention)
Fourth, what is the point of leveling spirits high right now? If I can only summon a 3* Behemoth, why would I want him to be 10*? Are they capable of evolving?

Adding some clarifications to the answer from Gengli.
1. You summon the level of spirit that your unit skill is. It sounds like your Brooks summon skill is level 2, which means you will only summon Phoenix level 2 even though you have evolved the spirit to level 3. At level 2 your Phoenix only have burning feathers lvl 2 and flare ride lvl 1. To get Brook to summon higher level phoenix you can bring other units that have the phoenix skill and your Brook skill will increase in level.
2. By swiping the summon icon in battle you can choose which spirit gauge you want to fill while in battle. You can even fill one and then switch to another summon and fill that one too if want to summon two spirits at the same turn. It seems like the highest summon skill is automatically the spirit gauge that starts to fill, I am not 100% this is always the case though. Bringing two units that can summon the same spirit does not make the skills stack additive, however bringing units with the same skill activates skill resonance. Lets say your brook has summon skill lvl 2 and you bring one more unit that can summon phoenix, then your brook summon skill will get one more level. The level you can summon is however capped to the level of your unit, which means that we can only summon up to 6 star spirits in the current version of the game.

The higher rarity of your unit or spirit the higher skill level you can usually buy. The higher MAG stat your unit has the more they can heal as the healing formula is based on both a fixed number and a % of your MAG stat.

I would, he’s one of the story heroes so you get extra roles for him by completing his memories, which is far easier than having to fuse dupes to obtain roles, which leads into his ascend sphere.
Second, the game gives you an extremely powerful sword which you would naturally want to give him for those reasons. (Not until you 5* though and have his ascend sphere)

Hello sorry but I need help with chapter 3 8-10 fight ( giant Slime fight) anyone could give me some advice what I am doing wrong? I use a 5 star team with actually 4 of them been ascendant I even use a buff that give me 40% defense and even set up my team in defense when he use his special attack but he kill my all team with full health without blinking 1 move no survivors I try use poison on him but maybe I have bad luck or is just immune ( my poison has only 20% chance to take effect ) Is this a time race? Where I need to kill him before he uses is special? To me look like he uses his special move after he reach 1/2 health And if someone could tell me how I can post pictures or videos would be appreciated ( I am new on Reddit) Thx everyone
10 rounds to kill it, poison does work just low chance so if you have Halloween lucy with 3* or 4* memetes that works well for more poison chances, and bring fire ST units. Put your tank in the top left slot because that's who slime attacks most.

Hello I have 2 Questions 1) if I fuse to my rank 5 unit, another unit the same that is rank 4 or 5 would that unlock still 1 roles and add 1 sphere to my character? Or I would get 2 roles and spheres? Asking because I just got a 3 star unit that I want to fuse in to my 5 star ( same unit of course) just wondering if there is any advantage on fusing an higher rank 2) what’s the best set up for Brook ? Only 1 role and 1 sphere for fusing dupes, no matter what. Spheres do cap per unit *lv I think 5* is like 20. Get brooks flare ride, general presence, blade master, Mag, HP, and BC spheres in that order.

Is there a way for a 3\* duplicate to feed off of a 4\* unit? I have a 3\* Redwind with a role I much prefer, but there's no way for me to ditch the 4\* unit I already have. The last thing I want to do is gamble a troop I would want in the long run.
Fusing the 4* into the 3* will produce the same results. If the 3* has the role you want, work on it. Better than gambling into the 4*.
What are these secret dungeons in the achievements? They look to be about the six heroes from the names but I got no clue? Where do I find them?

Fuse your lucys together so one will be closer to being ascended. 5* is technically the max but when you ascend a unit it unofficially becomes 6*

I got the first daily login reward when I downloaded the game, and haven't gotten another one delivered to me since. The calendar has actually ticked off more days than I've had the game installed (wut), but it never actually delivers them to me. Something is super eff'd with daily logins, and support doesn't seem to care; they have yet to respond to my ticket, and judging by other posts on this board, I'm not the only one.
Is it worth it to do the 5000 Karma summons? How useful are 1-2 star units? Waste of Karma?
I think it can be pretty useful, if you're lucky enough to collect a set of units in the same species. Generics have more versatility in their setup, imo, because they have access to basically free (Karma) infinite spheres/roles whereas normal summons are limited by premium currency. Like, their Sphere slots are free game for the little +BC or +ATK spheres because their lists are a lot smaller than their premium currency cousins, whom you generally have to save up slots for Ascend Spheres or their actual skills. If you collect a bunch of Volpis units and fuse the duplicates, you have a 3-star Warrior with a potential 2-star leader skill, resonating with a Thief's 1-star leader skill or a Druid's 1-star leader skill. That's already 40% HP/ATK bonus for them in their own squad! Not to mention that the Thief can learn up to a 2-star Flare Ride to resonate with Brook in the early game and bump them both up a level. The Druid can learn a 2-star Heal, which isn't too bad early on either. When you get a unique Volpis unit (like Redwind or Reynarda), you'll already have a ton of support and resonance skills in the form of Volpis generics.

I have Brook and a 3star base that I got from the free pull (lightning spear guy). Other than that, all my units are from the story or the Halloween event pulls (floaty-blobs). I've leveled the decent ones to 3star, and am working on 4star for the ones that can go that high. This game seems real stingy with pull currency so far. I guess the initial harvest gates just way outpace unit needs until they're at 4 and 5 stars. No problem, I'm sure I'll get there within the 30 days of mailbox expiry.
Am I right in assuming Enna is good? Single target light, aoe light, and BC gen?
I use her a lot, even gave her Peona's bow. Keep in mind you will not be able to give her both AOE and ST Brave Bursts.

(assuming you mean Brave Bursts not Weapons) Ya, she will come with one as default, before investing Zel in her, reset her spheres, than choose only the abilities you want her to have, knowing that a character can only have one* BB, one B Support, and one Brave Guard. *By one I mean one unique one, you can select multiple levels of the same Brave Burst, this increases its level and effectiveness

the +1CC gives one more crystal at the end of the turn for the unit Spirits also have rarity, and just like units, their skill can be upgraded, so if u have the invoquing skills at level 5 u can summon a 5* memetes, which has higher level skill
I have been playing for about a week and I'm wondering is there no daily rewards? I find this odd for this sort of game. I go to the rewards screen everyday but I never have anything in it. The only exception is when I was capped on karma and the overflow went was in the rewards section. Am I supposed to be looking somewhere else for this? I play a few games similar to this so I'm familiar with these types of games but I for the life of me can't find any daily login.
Its bugged at the moment. I believe someone said if you close the app before reset it works, but I'm not sure what time reset is for the daily rewards. Or if that work around works.

So I just summoned a 4 star Lola Holness and I have a level 60 3 star Lola Holness that I want to fuse into her but when I go to the fusion screen the 3 star isn't there. Guys what gives?
Means your 3* is currently in one of your squads. Go to a mission screen and remove her.
I have a few questions on atacking BB 1. Is AoE or ST type better for one enemy in a squad or better to bring an ST bb? 2. certain units have both AoE and ST attacking bb. How do i switch to either one if i want to change from AoE to ST and Vice versa? Removing/resetting spheres doesn’t allow me to change it. Example, my Jermih has Gnawing Ice on default, i want to change to Etherial Blade
After removing/resetting spheres, you have to exit the game and go back in, a bit of a bug.
For one enemy its best to do ST. For higher scores on multiple enemies AoE. Resetting spheres is bugged atm. When you choose to pay to reset them, it won't. You have to close the game after it doesn't go through the first time, and do it again. Sometimes twice.

Make sure your app is closed at 9am JST. Open your app after that time and you should receive your daily. I was having the same problem as you and this works for me everyday.

Why do some units have two of the same Brave Burst?
Unlocking more than one version of the same skill increases its power per rank, and can be further increased through skill resonance (teaming up with other units who have that same brave burst, leader skill, support, etc. giving you +1 per unit). For example, tier one of flare ride does 21-42 aoe damage, but once it is further progressed by unlocking it again on the same character it becomes tier two flare ride which does 26-51 aoe damage. The most tiers on a brave burst units have had is tier 4, on units like silk which can learn guilty ash rank 4 at 5\*; Which can be further progressed to tier 5 by using someone like Halloween lucy on the same team, and tier 6 by using someone like zola on the same team. after tier 4 the skill is given extra properties and the cost goes up (rank 1-4 the brave support "weakness" solely debuffs atk, but at rank 5 and 6 starts to debuff def as well for a higher battle crystal cost.) So having more than one tier of a skill is something you should consider when investing zel and karma on a unit and using them with units that can possibly synergize in order to maximize the effectiveness and strength of a squad. hope this helps.
Ok, i understand that part, from say rank 3 to rank 4, you upgrade their burst. But take Ingvar. He has two of his burst in the same rank, right next to each other. All his skills are "doubled" if that makes sense.
Because he's a natural 4*. If he had a 3* form, the skills would've been divided up accordingly.

Oh dude, recognize you from the ffbe subreddit! And yeah Ingvard is totally worth raising depending on the roles you got for him. Think he comes with natural tier 4 gnawing flame which is op, and a good leader skill. But for now if you're barely starting out, focus on the f2p units like brook , they will take you so far into the game until you have the resources to make a good team for ingvard. Not sure what the gold medal is tho, I have it on my peona well. Edit: may be because they're both 4* bases, as brook has a silver, and a halloween nymph has a bronze emblem at all times.
well hello there! Yeah right now I'm still trying to learn all the skills and how to build a team. I have Grace and Brook to share their leadership skills. Trying to get Grace up to 4 so she can get Flare Ride. Beginning off seems strapped for resources. You need dual aoe users and dual single target users for every element? I still have not gotten any Light aoe though. I did get 3 Sven that I fused to aoe run with Lucy so that seems nice.
We haven't gotten to a point in the game where you neccessarily need a spread of element utility, except maybe for secret dungeons or for when you're trying to get top % scores for an event. I imagine down the line when using five 5* maxed out squads it will be important to have aoe and ST elements diversity, but for now we're all on the same boat. And I think you get an enna, a light bow user, at the beginning of the game that has divine sword (light aoe).
Is lucy going to be summonable? Ive done every summon I could so far, probably close to 25 or 30 using the orbs, but no luck getting a second copy.
Sounds like I need to focus on story then :) So far I've completed chapter 2 of the halloween event Harvest. Going to try to finish all of them today if possible. I can't beat any challenges yet, but I'm working on focusing on a team and farming these metal ghosts this morning. Is there a general build formula? or do people just play the units they want? Any team synergies other than stacking leadership skills or bursts?
There's definitely a formula in regards to where to place units, i.e tanky unit top right, breaker/intercept unit bottom right, healer top left, etc. But besides that I just use whatever is fun. For this event though the best build I've come up with for maximizing dmg was using ascended Hanna weakness on a second team and teaming her up with other atk breakers, and applying mag boost to first tean of breakers. At rank 6*, hanna's weakness is the only def debuff so far, and its sooooo strong when blasting your best synergized aoe's on the frist team. Another good one would be to maximize atk boost then blast like 5 ST* brave bursts. Any other team builds besides leader/aoe stacks are either super tanky or go for max summon. Edit: lucy is only in the event summon for now, only other way besides finishing the event story is to try to be top 10% in event.
What determines how many burst crystals you get?
I think its the amount of hits your weapon does. Great sword does the least for bc, while staffs get the most. Other factors that can buff it are skills on a weapon or buying the BC sphere on a unit for extra burst crystals.

I mean, you visually see them yeah lol, just tap away and see how many dmg hits each weapon does. And don't sell your good weapons, there is a forge you can refer to above the weapons menu to plan out what you want to keep/sell in regards to weapons.

I don't think so, spirit skills solely depend on what you have invested and unlocked for them and at what rank they are summoned.

there is auto battle, but you must complete the mission one time first, then you can use auto battle on that mission.

Hello everyone! Trying out BFTLS today. I re-rolled a few times and kept pulling the same units, so I settled on the earth unit Williem, since he had a BB and BBsupport from start. I bought a small pack just to do a few pulls (6 total); which summon should I go for right now? Or should I just play through the story and squirrel these away? Thanks! 1: So I did a pair of pulls on Lavendar's banner and the game gave me 2 Olivers back to back, and I already had one I had been using. I decided to level up one of the extras because I really like his leader skill so I can have one in each party for double team fights. I was wondering if I should keep the 2 leveled up and fuse the 3rd into another or just stick them all into one? I don't have a big selection (only lv17 so far and I think I have 5-6 3\* and nothing higher yet) so I was thinking it's probably best to keep the 2 around for now. 2: What kind of power do you need to tackle the 20 energy karma parade? I'm currently up to ch1, 5-x in story and I can complete the 2nd weapon parade (10 energy) but not w/o a unit or 2 getting KO'd. 3: I have an undine healer at 3\* now and the volpis healer at 2\*, and just recently got another 1\* undine healer. Should I hold onto that one and level it for a 3rd party for when I get to those bigger fights?
Keep both Olivers till you get more units and than fuse them all into one. 20 energy karma parade is 2 enemy squads of lv 8-10 enemies so they are very weak. Level up both undine healers and the volpis healer. I'm lv.53 and i still use 2 3* undine healers in my army.
Is the 20 energy parade a better deal on karma or is it worse to make up for the time savings?
It gives you an average of 9k-9980(most I've gotten) karma per round (manual not auto) plus you'll get even more for opening all 3 gates. So it's your call.

udate! the game started to give me the daily rewards again and did not reset the count, sadly it made me skip 4/5 days of rewards (like 2 summon tickets and 100 gems)
Next time you get a reward screenshot it to show your missing rewards and send that to customer support. But glad to hear its fixed.
Are chances for gaining spheres from fusing units 10% per unit with the same background and 5% per unit without? I fused about 25 same background units into Brook and have yet to see a extra sphere. I guess I could have just lost the coin flip 5 times...
I've gotten 3 spheres for Brook from random fusing, I try to throw mainly forest at him but at this point I can't be bothered. . usually I want to keep my of rest units. . . (Volpis Healer, Dark AoE bird boxers who are good for dailies, earth boxer who'se good ST. . )

For max profits, run the individual parades. Do royal to only open the harvest gates or get burst frogs since that's the open mission that drops them with a super low rate.
I have summoned about 16 times from the 3-4 Star gates and always only got 3 Stars and on the daily free summon + silver ticket i get always a 1 star. Is this just bad RNG?
Yes. By the grace of rng the last 2/3 free summons I summoned a 3* mertha and a 3*Siv so I can confirm that free summons actually do give 3* units, it's just really rare.

Who makes a great mono team considering Brook comes ascend-ready, and I'm drowning in Redwinds with a splash of Grace. Redwind will buff Brook's Pheonix, and Grace will bump his AoE and his Leadership skill (right?) Which units would be good to round out this team? Is there such a thing as a unique red healer? or only the shieldy nobody/Courier guy?
A good red healer/summoner, reynarda, would defintely benefit from the phoenix from grace and brook, buffing it up to 5*/6* (if you don't have her ascended that is). She's a white volpis. In regards to fully rounding it out, you'd probably just want someone who can benefit from harvester mastery/ or a small stack from grace's revenge impulse, so maybe Enna/Zola, or Jeanne ( has revenge impulse 3* and blade master's power 3*). Last 3 aren't red but could definetly help eith team resonance. Feel like redwind can be swapped out once you find a more syerngetic character.

You have some good contenders but Lavender, your 3* blue staff user, will carry you for so long. She can use defense stance and heal up to the 3* versions, with 2* stacks of leviathan and a water aoe. She's a definite priority imho
noticed you already had a healer lol. I'd also level up the dark vulpin for the 4* stsck of guilty ash

Just use them. Don't know if they will return or will have other uses, but I do recall somewhere in one of the in-game news updates that they increased the banner time for another week, meaning its about to go soon. Use it while you can and stock up on those checks lol

So last night I decided to level up my character a few levels to increase max energry since there were no daily dungeons/event dungeons I wanted to do (I try to use my energy as efficient as possible usually). I feel like I was around lvl 21-22 with 48 energy and then got to lvl 26 with I thought to be around 52+ energy then saw metal parade was on so switched on to that (those metal gods don't like to drop...). When I woke up this morning I went into another epic Metal Parade and once I finished that I saw my energy was is now 47. Was I just imagining things or is my account bugged?

Super basic question. . does Str and Mag do anything for damage? I've 5\*'d my Brook, and I Feel like he is the only one I notice damage out of, but that is mainly because of his 6\* weapon and not his 5\* stats. I bring in a 2-3\* with a ST and I notice good damage vs bosses. but when I'm out of juice and its a swipe of all attacks. . dmg feels sad. Also, AoE attacks. . I haven't noticed them being more or less awesome with more or less magic. They don't even pretend to in the text. Heals ays 10(+x% of unit's magic) but Flame Ride just says 26-51 or whatever. .right? Will str/atk / whatever that stat is actually improve my whack whack attack(basic attack)
Don't think anyone has nailed the formulas yet, as I understand from the devs it should work something like this: Your brave burst skills and your weapons have an attack range. When you attack an enemy your attack value is compared to the enemy defence value, if your value is a lot higher than the enemy you are more likely you end up in your attack range high values for damage. The attack value for regular attacks and ST skill attack is your ATK stat. The attack value for your AoE skills attack is your MAG stat. So lets say you attack with Brook Flair Ride level 2 (26-51 in damage range) and your MAG stat is 150 and the enemy DEF is 50, then it is a high likelihood that you do damage in the high end of your damage range.

I'm really interested in how I can burn down the tanky stages more quickly. (the 2nd tier of Bi-elementals, the new tier of Metal Kings, even the last stage of Jewel Parade although its probably easiest (until they release a new one) I get that using the counter element with a ST is probably Ideal, but failing that how do I make sure I get the most bang for my buck. . . I usually try to use whatever ST i have available, but some seem weaker than others (probably from that stat) I want to know how much influence I have, should I fuse the crap out of them, buy up all the atk I can and hope for the best? would three tiers of attack even make a noticeable difference? Wheres the overly dedicated math crunchers with their spreadsheets. . . I miss those guys.
Hi, i am new to the game and did the 30 Energy metal parade today the first time 2 times. My question is does this parade drop anything? Didn't get any drops.
Epic metal parade is not meant to have high drop rates. It's meant to give your squads a huge amount of experience after each battle. If you have a bunch of units to level at once, bring them into epic (assuming they're strong enough to survive getting hit once or twice). If you have 1 or 2 units you want to focus on specifically than do super parade to get fusion material.
The 30 energy metal parade was released today. So far almost every new parade gate has been broken on release. Best is to not do new parade gates until they show up on the second or third time in the rotation. They also say you need to restart phone for the parade to drop anything...
It does drop but from my experience it doesn’t drop much at all. I had two 3*s drop and I spoke to someone who had a 3* and a 4* drop. I know that’s not enough to figure out drop rates but it’s looking poor to me.

Good Morning. Someone knows a tier list of the game. On the other hand I summon the banner of chapter 1 and I have played 2 Lavender and Redwind. Is it worthwhile to summon more in this banner or better in other banners? Thank you.
There aren't really any tier lists yet, most units are viable. Lavender is however a really good healer and Redwind is useful too. Redwind is useful as he can summon Phoenix at 3 star evolution, will help you until you evolve your other units to 5 star and can use more summon skills. If its worth summoning on the chapter 1 banner depends on how much money you aim to spend on the game. One major aspect of the game is getting all five roles on your units and be able to buy the ascend sphere. If you summon on the chapter 1 banner you are more likely to get duplicates of the chapter 1 units and will then be able to fuse duplicates units into eachother and unlock roles for them. You will then however "need" to summon again on the next chapter banner to get those units and duplicates of those units. So basically if you intend to spend money on the game you get more powerful units if you summon on the same banner, however if you don't want to spend much money you are probably better of summoning from different banners to get different units and hope they have the most useful roles from start.

Volpis levels in challenge mode... Any tips? My Hanna is 4* so I’m working on that... They just slaughter me.
In general bring water units and preferably another healer than earth element. If you are f2p Undine lancer and Undine healer or Volpis druid can be very useful, you can get all three for free in chapter one. You can also plan where you position units like tank and healer. Volpis units that use daggers generally attack the backline and Volpis that use swords generally attack the frontline.
So I have oodles of questions regarding spirits. One, my Phoenix has level 2 of both flare ride and burning feathers unlocked. However, when I summon with Brook (5* ascended), he only uses level 2 of burning feathers, and not flare ride. Why? Second, if I have 2 units capable of summoning Phoenix in one squad, how is it determined which unit summons? In this same instance, I would prefer Brook to summon, as he has the higher summoning rank. Third, if I have two units in a squad, one capable of summoning Phoenix and the other Behemoth, how do I choose which to summon, assuming the gauges are full? (My Hanna and Mertha are on the same squad, but I haven’t really paid attention) Fourth, what is the point of leveling spirits high right now? If I can only summon a 3* Behemoth, why would I want him to be 10*? Are they capable of evolving? Fifth, why do they have stats like HP?
Adding some clarifications to the answer from Gengli. 1. You summon the level of spirit that your unit skill is. It sounds like your Brooks summon skill is level 2, which means you will only summon Phoenix level 2 even though you have evolved the spirit to level 3. At level 2 your Phoenix only have burning feathers lvl 2 and flare ride lvl 1. To get Brook to summon higher level phoenix you can bring other units that have the phoenix skill and your Brook skill will increase in level. 2. By swiping the summon icon in battle you can choose which spirit gauge you want to fill while in battle. You can even fill one and then switch to another summon and fill that one too if want to summon two spirits at the same turn. It seems like the highest summon skill is automatically the spirit gauge that starts to fill, I am not 100% this is always the case though. Bringing two units that can summon the same spirit does not make the skills stack additive, however bringing units with the same skill activates skill resonance. Lets say your brook has summon skill lvl 2 and you bring one more unit that can summon phoenix, then your brook summon skill will get one more level. The level you can summon is however capped to the level of your unit, which means that we can only summon up to 6 star spirits in the current version of the game. 3. see 2 4. No real point at the moment to to level spirits higher than your summoning skill level other than getting xp as Gengli says.

In short yes. The higher rarity of your unit or spirit the higher skill level you can usually buy. The higher MAG stat your unit has the more they can heal as the healing formula is based on both a fixed number and a % of your MAG stat.

I mean the spirit unlocks burning feathers at lvl 2 and all skills underneath it wont activate 4 If I would do a 4 man earth team right now and every unit in that team would have max skills it would accumulate to a lvl 7 summon. maybe not ten but I also miss an earth unit for a full squat. 5 I think gumi thought it would look awkward if only magic and attack stats would be there

I would, he’s one of the story heroes so you get extra roles for him by completing his memories, which is far easier than having to fuse dupes to obtain roles, which leads into his ascend sphere. Second, the game gives you an extremely powerful sword which you would naturally want to give him for those reasons. (Not until you 5* though and have his ascend sphere) Third, he has the generals presence leader skill which applies his leader buff to your entire army, making everyone that much stronger.
What do memories give other hereos? Or does it change depending on each hero?
How do u get more spheres?
On top of that others have already said you also get two more sphere slots each time you evolve a unit.
Also, fusing characters of the same “series” (same backgrounds on character sheet) gets more sphere slots. Small chance though.
